The male worker with curly hair is not friendly nor is he helpful. Everytime i go in and he's there…read morehe's always trying to push something new on me when i know exactly what i want. He just says no we don't have it. Doesn't bother to go check the back. The owner and his son are both very friendly and helpful. If what I'm looking for isn't out they will go check the back and bring it out for me. However, the last few times I've gone in i didn't see them i had to deal with the curly haired guy and him trying to get me to buy something completely different so from now on I'll be going else where for my vape needs. As i know exactly what im looking for and exactly what i want. If i wanted to try something different i would. I never once asked him for his opinion or recommendation on any other brand or flavor yet here he is trying to tell me what they have and taste like.. and then if im looking around he rushes me "is that all" "are you done" when he can clearly see im looking at things.. I try to time it right and go there when he's not working but the last few times he's the only one i seen in there. Usually the owner or his son come out from the back. The last time they had what i wanted i asked for 5 and the guy said "i can't give you 5" the owner came out i explained what i wanted and how many he went to the back and came out with exactly what i asked for and exactly how many i asked for while the other guy just stood there looking annoyed. Then he didn't know how charge me and tried to charge alot more them it was supposed to be mind you he's been there for quite some time now so he should know how to do his job and how to charge me..he doesn't seem to be a people person nor is he very friendly. If you don't want to speak to customers and help them maybe he shouldn't be working in a store where he has to talk to people and be helpful. Prior to him working there I've never had an issue with the prices or with finding what im looking for. I've never had any other employee try to constantly push a new brand or flavor on me like he does. The owner and his son usually mention that something new will be coming soon but that's it they don't try and push it on me like this guy...he tried doing the same thing to my daughter when she was looking at the carts he kept telling her what she wanted instead of listening to her when she knew exactly what she wanted and what she was looking for. He completely disregarded what she said and put something completely different on the counter in front of her then looked annoyed when she didn't take it. She didn't take it because it's not what she asked for and they had what she asked fir he just didn't listen and instead told her what she wanted/ needed. Im sorry but ever since he's been working there i try my best not to go in there unless i see he's not in the store then I'll go in but I've been going to different places due to him. I think he needs to be retrained or take a class in having patience and working with the public and having customer service skills.

There's lots of free parking. It is between Diamond Thai and Carvel. I showed my drivers license to the employee outside of the store before being allowed in. The space has been newly renovated and is pristine. It was a hot day, and the air conditioning was working nicely in the store so the space felt cool and inviting. It's not too bright and has soothing lighting. I like the relaxing vibe in there. Staff was completely friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were good and there was even a special going on. So far I've only tried the gummy edibles that I bought, but they tasted good, and were effective for relaxation. I'm sure I'll be coming here regularly and trying more of their offerings.

Puffin Dispensary - New Brunswick, NJ…read more Right across from Rutgers, Puffin NJ is a low-key but stylish dispensary that makes a strong first impression. The space is fancy, well-decorated, and welcoming--even for someone like me who's never bought legal cannabis before. I walked in feeling intimidated, but the staff helped ease my anxiety with solid product recommendations tailored to focus and calm. Unfortunately, one product--Pomegranate Pearls from Grön--didn't sit well with my wife. She experienced a sudden wave of hot and cold flashes and ended up getting sick after we got home. We tried calling the store, but couldn't get through. Later, we were told returns must be made within 7 days, which is tough when you're coming from Long Island. I had to reach out to the company directly for support. Despite that hiccup, I'm still giving Puffin 4 stars. The customer service was great, the location is convenient, and the other products were solid. If you're new to cannabis or just want a chill, well-run spot near Rutgers, Puffin is worth checking out. Just be mindful of how your body reacts and ask questions before buying edibles. Boomsauce Scale: B - basura (trash) BS - basic (come on! Try harder) BS + - better (Yo! That's better) BS ++ - best (alright! Alright! Alrightttt!) BS +++ - Amazing location! now that's boomsauce! Hey Everyone, my names Brendon and I'm a Disabled Military Hispanic Veteran from New Brunswick…read moreCommunity and I currently attend Rutgers University atm. Now i dont like Complaining Honestly but this convenience store is definitely Consistently different and xtra to say the least compared to anywhere ive been my whole life in town. Now keep in mind i have a cast on my leg because its Broken and i come to this store all the time because i live near by on Easton but every time i go in i see the same guy i say Jesi Krishna which means Praise Krishna which is a traditional way to say hello & Goodbye and i always mention I frequent the Temple in Edison which is Beautiful and compliment him on Reading books all the time telling him its awesome & he smart for doing so. Though he just makes fun of me, Bullies me and picks on me for my Broken leg because im slower with it. Today was the most Toxic, Abusive, This gusting incident where it was raining outside and he told me 2 seconds after walking in that if i take more then even a minute to look that i have to wait outside in rain until I know what i want then i can come in, totally Unnecessary & Unwarranted, Keep in mind i spend less than three minutes in store never more so he is just being Cruel because I'm always too nice no matter what tbh. I truly don't understand when I spread such good vibes why he has to be so negative, unprofessional, rude, and insulting in everything he says and trust me he is not shy with his vulgar & abusive language! So everyone as a fellow Rutgers student & Military Veteran based on how I've seen him interact with others, I believe that he just has a personal Bias/Hatred for Military Veterans or Students for some reason therefore making it a very Toxic/ Mental Health wise bad environment that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I truly hope this individual finds peace/Therapy and changes his way but honestly no-one deserves that and neither do i so I'm never going again to his store & in fact id recommend the Bigger and more affordable convenience store 10 feet up from it on Easton called Easton Convenience Stop its Lit !
