this was my favourite place to shop for souvenirs in madrid. i only wish i came here first! course, i didn't even see this place until i was done with my souvenir shopping. they had everything here, postcards, mugs, stationery, keychains, magnets, t-shirts, soft toys, traditional nougat candy, pretty much anything that you could think of (or not think of), they had it! although i was done with my souvenir shopping, i hadn't actually bought any postcards yet, so i picked up four postcards for €1, a pretty good price in comparison with other shoppes. i also bought a small notebook for myself, so that i could journal about my adventures in spain for my return trip back to the states. the journal was a bit on the pricier side, €4.80 for a 5" x 5" notebook, but i was paying for the graphic on the cover, which had a collage of all things spanish, something that i wouldn't be able to find back home. this store also accepted credit cards. located a few steps away from plaza mayor. read more
