Their silk-screened shirts are truly unique, with a graphic design sensibility that features the work of local designers. You won't find t-shirts like this anywhere else, so if you're already at Sol, Madrid's central square, it's worth the short walk over to Typographia to buy some new shirts for yourself, and these are the kind of t-shirts that would also make great gifts. One star off for the off-putting staff who don't do justice to the design work on display here - and no refunds, so be sure to try on your selections before leaving the shop as the sizes run a bit small. They do accept exchanges but, again, a bit begrudgingly. Note to staff: Be proud of what you're selling!

this was my favourite place to shop for souvenirs in madrid. i only wish i came here first!…read more course, i didn't even see this place until i was done with my souvenir shopping. they had everything here, postcards, mugs, stationery, keychains, magnets, t-shirts, soft toys, traditional nougat candy, pretty much anything that you could think of (or not think of), they had it! although i was done with my souvenir shopping, i hadn't actually bought any postcards yet, so i picked up four postcards for €1, a pretty good price in comparison with other shoppes. i also bought a small notebook for myself, so that i could journal about my adventures in spain for my return trip back to the states. the journal was a bit on the pricier side, €4.80 for a 5" x 5" notebook, but i was paying for the graphic on the cover, which had a collage of all things spanish, something that i wouldn't be able to find back home. this store also accepted credit cards. located a few steps away from plaza mayor.

You can not see register screen and chargees and what goes to your bag, cause employee packed my bag under the counter. Gave me receipt for tax return, thought i sad do not need it. John said something in spanish mentioning word policia, so now I see it was his way to threaten me emotionally. Price stickers has been removed, some of them partially, with price numbers.
