That's a steal! All jeans were 5 euros. I purchased two pairs. I am from New York and they had very rare items items that were popular in the 90's like Karl Kani and Coogi. I even found some Gucci and Moschino in the mix. There were tons of items and accessories to choose from in excellent condition. I would highly recommend visiting this shop before others for their low prices if you're in Madrid.

Take a look even if you don't want to shop. Like other clothing chains, Zara relegates the Mens department to purgatory, either the top floor or the basement. This one is on top. Selections were laid out nicely and uncluttered. Even items in the sale section which were marked down pretty good. Sales people do an admirable and unenviable job of keeping the clothing stacks orderly. Unlike Primark which is a zoo. There seemed to be enough staff to handle the crowd, and the male fitting room attendant was helpful. The new thing for me is Zara's self-checkout. The cashier section was empty, and clerks were assisting with self-checkout. My guy was friendly and demonstrated how to do it. He actually did it for me because it was probably faster LOL. Just throw the goods in the bin and it records what was tossed in without manhandling the barcodes. No security clips to take off. I tossed in a recycled shopping bag and it added to the total. I swiped my iPhone digital card and was on my way. Amazing! I don't know if this will fly in the USA with so many stores hit by a shoplifting pandemic.

Their silk-screened shirts are truly unique, with a graphic design sensibility that features the work of local designers. You won't find t-shirts like this anywhere else, so if you're already at Sol, Madrid's central square, it's worth the short walk over to Typographia to buy some new shirts for yourself, and these are the kind of t-shirts that would also make great gifts. One star off for the off-putting staff who don't do justice to the design work on display here - and no refunds, so be sure to try on your selections before leaving the shop as the sizes run a bit small. They do accept exchanges but, again, a bit begrudgingly. Note to staff: Be proud of what you're selling!

This insanely successful Spanish outfit is as ubiquitous here as Starbucks in the US. It is an institution, and it'll keep you in dandy style every season for a pretty decent price. Though, in the past 7 years the quality has gone down and, predictably, the cost has gone up. But, it's an accepted fact. Any given late afternoon at this particular location you will find long check out lines on each floor. Forget shopping on Fridays and Saturdays, it is a madhouse. If you must, be prepared to spend at least 3 hours finding that snazzy smokin outfit that fits you, and checking out. The low down: you will shop til you drop, you will be frustrated about the fit unless you are way on the thin side and are tallish (best fit if you are average height and weight are the Zara Collection or Zara Mujer lines), you will have fun buying some fairly nice, big designer, off the runway pret-a-porter knock-offs and.....you will have those "bitch stole my look" moments- more than once, if you reside in Madrid.
