I got the Houmoucide sandwich (£6.50) and my wife got the Doner Vebab (£7.50). We enjoyed both our meals very much. My sandwich was massive, filled with lots of hummus and tahini, plenty of falafel, roasted peppers, beets, rocket, sunflower seeds, and garlic sauce. It was a very messy, but very delicious, sandwich. Great stuff at a bargain price. All in all, we both really enjoyed our meal here and would gladly return.

The mood in the bar is chilled, with nice mood lighting, good tunes and board games and books to use at your leisure should you want. There's even a microwave which you can use if you bring in your own food to eat! The kitchen bar is open during club hours too, so if you don't feel like dancing you can head on in to the kitchen and chill and/or eat and/or drink and/or play some board games at 2am!! The club is just as unique. there's parts of old furniture attached to the walls, lots of subtle nods to "The Big Lebowski" everywhere and lots of places to sit. There is a big quirky bar with all the mod cons including that lovely vintage tv playing some obscure Japanese films, of course. There's a big no frills dance area, complete with a wardrobe in the middle of the floor to dance around. There's not much in the way of flashy flashy lights, instead they have projections bouncing about the venue providing lighting changes and blasts from the pasts in the way of old footage and stuff. I've seen people stop dancing to reminisce at what they are seeing on the big projection screens. There is a nice set of standard lamps around to supply extra lighting around the tabled ares too. There is space for fowk to dance and sit and mingle with out feeling like a club, even though it kinda is. Friday and saturday nights see a good varied selection of club nights from 90's themed ones with bingo to indie stuff to b-sides to rawk to funk and everything in between. The staff were super helpful explaining the options and deeply apologetic when they had an issue with the printer and couldn't get me my receipt (which wasn't a big deal at all.) I love it in here - it's perfect if you just want a coffee and a cake, or if you're after a more filling meal. I've had the curries a few times, with baked potatoes, and they're really substantial. The smoothies are excellent too - last time I was in I had a cherry smoothie of some sort, and it was stunningly good. I have also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with my husband which my sista from another mista gifted me for my birthday. It was absolutely delicious. The coffee and cakes are always really good. The cats are absolutely adorable, playful and you can see that they are well looked after. On my last visit they had siamese kittens who were just the cutest. I am gutted that it's now permanently closed. They took the hard decision and closed their doors on 31st December 2025. They had done amazing over the many years and it will be sorely missed in Glasgow. They are now focusing on their new charity, Purrple Cat Rescue, and I wish them all the best in helping all the kitties who need a home.
