They have been independently and family-owned for over 40 years, and they are a must-stop for all book and music lovers out there. This store is HUGE with over half-a-million books, movies, music and memorabilia. However, I think what makes them extra special is the curated selection of Horror and Thriller books, including some very unique collectibles. I am more into contemporary, so keep in mind those books are located on the top floor of their second building. Their children's book section was also incredible but frankly I didn't have the patience to go through them. This store can be a little overwhelming so definitely take a breath and ask for help if you can't find the genre you are looking for.

Harvey has launched this place to new heights and has been friendly to all involved (He is a great Dungeon Master for D&D, especially for the little ones new to the game). The place is kept tidy, and and all is organized in an effective manner for your comic searching pleasure. In terms of stock for things other than comics, they have a selection that I see as mediocre at best at times, though this is likely due to supply and demand, especially now considering everything going on. Necessary D&D minis were sometimes hard to come across even before this. Overall, the Multiverse is a great place to stop in my experience. Although it does not carry what I'm specifically interested in, if you like to play board games in a relaxed social atmosphere and pick up more modern-day collectibles, this might be the place for you. Madness has a wide variety of collector card sets, board games, and also modern action figure lines, with Star Wars and G.I. Joe as large focal points. Madness does carry some vintage Star Wars figures from the '70s/'80s but it really shines with the franchise toy lines that have come after that heyday, with deep inventory in the sequel trilogy figures, Power of the Force, post-prequel movie and streaming show figures, and the Retro Collection. This is also the place if you love the Pop! Funko figures (which I do not in the least) as Madness has definitely gone all in on the craze. I found the staff to be helpful with my questions during my visit and they gave me space to think about some items I was mulling over. Although I probably won't be a frequent visitor, I appreciate the unique offerings Madness brings, especially in creating community.

Uber friendly, patient, and full of knowledge of all things comic related. The store is very very small... a bit uncomfortable for my taste, especially when there are 3 or more people in there. But honestly, that is my only complaint. They strive to help everyone novice or expert, and they definitely have a system. Oh, they should incorporate a military/veteran discount. Many of what we buy helps veterans or deployed service members.
