They tried to do the procedure in the dentist's office, but they weren't able to get me numb enough, and referred me to Capital Endodontics. I was nervous going in - the experience in the dentist's office the week before had me convinced this was going to be a painful procedure. Dr. Landwehr immediately put me at ease. His chair-side manner was amazing, and the first thing he explained was why I experienced pain when the dentist tried to do the procedure, and how they would numb me so that wouldn't be repeated. He then went on to explain what was going on with my tooth, why I needed the root canal, how they would do the procedure, and why it was the right solution. The procedure itself was comfortable and quick. Dr. Landwehr was thorough in explaining what was going on the entire time - what I would smell, hear, and feel - which I greatly appreciated. I think one of the most notable things about the whole experience is the absence of any post-procedure discomfort or pain. My jaw is slightly sore from my mouth being open for so long, but the tooth and surrounding area feel fine - no sensitivity, no tenderness. I had my procedure around 2:45pm and by about 6:30pm all of the numbness was gone and I was able to eat a (relatively soft) dinner without any pain or discomfort in the tooth. I highly recommend these folks if you need a root canal, and from the other reviews here, looks like you can't go wrong with any of their practitioners!

The staff is tremendously helpful And patient. DR. McHugh and his Dental assistant have been so reassuring with all of my dental concerns that I have come in with. I have tremendous anxiety about going to the dentist based on experiences from when I was little and they have helped make me feel at easy and cast my worries away when I am there. My kids are very happy with their dental hygienist, Robin; she has a special way of handling kids and they come home excited to help care for their teeth and great ideas for me to try too. The new renovations they have made is amazing, like the comfy lobby with the fireplace, a cute kids play corner, and up to date equipment. I highly recommend this place for a dentist.

With my really bad tooth he numbed it then checked with the cold test and I could still feel it so he put even more Novocain in it and I didn't feel a thing during the procedure!!! He has the highest skill level for technique and results. He is thorough and comprehensive in his examination and treatment. At first I was like, "wait, what? I've been getting regular care right along- how can there be so many issues that need to be addressed?" And then he started fixing them and I was like, wow, so that's how my mouth could have, (and should have been)! I've always feared and dreaded the front teeth upper gum and pallet novacaine shot, because it's a lot worse than a "pinch." But not with Dr. Jon. His technique gave me more of a slow pressure, not a painful pinch, which amazed me. And somehow he dialed in the exact amount- I had no pain at all, yet when I was done, my upper lip and nose didn't feel like I'd been punched, there was just a slight tingle that went away very shortly. The office staff is also great- appointments were handled with skill, multiple options, and accuracy. I am always greeted with warmth and friendliness, especially by Kayla. I'm just guessing here, but there might be a rule that only nice, pretty women are allowed to work there, I'm joking yet it seems to fit the observable facts. I am very glad I switched, my only hesitation in writing this review is that he'll get even more busy and it will be tougher to find an opening in the future... Still, my highest recommendation.

The space is modern and very clean. They have a comfortable waiting area with different sitting areas, TV, magazines, etc. The staff is welcoming, efficient and organized. Each department works together to create a great experience (check in, hygienist, dentist, insurance, scheduling). Amazing team! They are a busy office so sometimes scheduling can be pushed out but I've always gotten a call about openings and have been able to get in earlier than expected. They have provided excellent communication and referrals when needed. I have been so happy with my hygienist. My teeth always feel so clean after. She's efficient and thorough. Dr. Brittany Bowen is awesome. She is kind, patient, and truly listens. I know she is always doing what is best for me and my health. I continue to be impressed by this team and am pleased with every experience I have had at Associated Dentists. Highly reccomend!

Took 3 visits and lot of pain before that was 'done'. Lisa Young took the time upfront to ensure the tooth really fit and did minute adjustments so well taht I was ale to use my brand new tooth (with a very small/short crown) hours afterhaving the work done. I am a bit concerned about their prices, they charge $49 for the fluoride treatment, every other dentist I've been to across the three states I've received care in has charged $19. The fluoride was the same, the price was $30 more which does worry me about what their prices are like outside of what is covered by insurance. When I brought up this huge discrepancy, other dentist in the area and asked why there was a difference. They were unable to fluoride treatments cost more here. When I asked about booking my next cleaning, I was told they didn't have availability until way later in the year and that I would need to call back to get an appointment so I could use my two free cleanings per year. The staff was great, my main concern is price gouging especially when the services are the same.
