went in on November 1st of 2025 to replace my front tire. The younger gentleman at the front desk was so kind and helpful, very informative and respectful. they suggested me getting two new front tires, i agreed. i come back three hours later after they are ordered and delivered, they replace the two back tires. i drove home, noticed, and immediately called back. younger gentleman was very polite and said if i come in the next day it will all get fixed. they fixed the tires free of charge , though after putting tires on my back wheels my back passenger tire had a slow leak. took it back in two days later, the mechanic said it was a valve stem issue and the tech that worked on my car the last time was new and needed to be better trained. this visit was also free of charge. came back a third time about two weeks later for a slow leak on the same tire. tech took me back and showed me a cracked rim.( i had been filling the tire up to required PSI every time it was driven) i went up front and spoke to Rick, and stated that the back tires were never supposed to be touched, and this issue was not a thing prior to this visit. he told me this had nothing to do with them and they cant do anything for me. kept repeating it was not their fault/they had absolutely nothing to do with this issue. he told the mechanic to put fix a flat on the crack to fix the issue, and "assured" me the fix a flat would be free of charge. even when the mechanic said that will do nothing. a week later i had bought a new rim and came in and bought a used tire from them- was planning on having the tire+ rim put on by someone else. i told rick that i would not have them put the tire on and that i was just buying the tire, and he immediately changed his attitude towards me saying he "really wouldnt suggest doing that" and "you should just have us do the work". the other mechanic not related to MCT said he did not feel comfortable putting this tire on in good conscience because of the tire being cracked all along the outside, very deep. real disappointed; had gone to MCT once about two years ago and had an awesome experience. this time it was the exact opposite. not to mention Ricks "humor" to specifically females is very uncomfortable. its either commenting on looks/appearance, or completely belittling until a man is standing behind you. super weird and uncomfortable! read more

I take all three of my vehicles to the Madison County Tire and they get it done right! Had numerous repairs done there since the 90's. New ownership now, and obvious issues. I had bought tires quite a while ago there, went back for a slow leak, told bad bead. Paid for a fix. Slow leak again, told another bad bead. That one was free of charge. 3 days later slow leak again! Owner stated he would not do anything for me unless I replaced TPMS sensors without even looking at my car. 2018 CRV AWD. This vehicle monitors pressure through the ABS system and does NOT use TPMS sensors of the traditional fashion. Then, they told me to leave and never come back. Went to another shop and was shown there was a nail in my tire AND, there was no sign of liquid bead sealer on the rim. Which means they lied about the repair to begin with and tried to sell me parts that were never needed for my car. I woukd not trust any repair this business states was completed. I hope GOODYEAR Corporation removes their license agreement from this guy. He is ridiculous. All of this over a $30 tire repair of which I would gladly paid for or even a new tire. Had they actually pulled the tire and checked it they would've seen the nail. But, no they just pulled my car in and out and sent me down the road. Also, they were supposed to rotate the tires on my car with the first leak, and after the rotation, the tire with the slow leak was in the exact same location on the car. Impossible! read more

We stopped here on our road trip across the US because we thought we were having a tire issue. They helped us out immediately. Purchasing two back tires. Thinking they were helping we went on our way. Still realizing we seemed to have a problem. Three hundred miles down the road we pulled into another Goodyear, Thinking they all worked together like Les scwab. Guy walks out and said your problem isn't the tires. It's your axel. We can't help you. Just head down here they will fix you up. So now at this point because of the issue we need another new tire to replace the one we just bought from Madison county tire for $150. So I call Madison county tire. Gentleman who answers the phone says I'll have the guy that worked on it call you, but I'm sure we can do something. Rick calls me back the next morning. Right away all defensive. It's your trailer, we don't fix trailers. That's your problem. Not mine. I said I'm not Trying to get anything for free - but we came in with an issue - and the Goodyear saw it immediately. His reply. That's great for them. We don't fix trailers. If I give you free tires. I wouldn't make any money. I said I don't want free tires. But a little money back for not spotting an obvious issue. He said we don't fix trailers. So not even listening. I understand you don't fix trailers. We rolled in with an issue on a tire wearing funny. Asked you to look at it. You said it's the tires. When in fact it wasn't. And it was a $200 fix on the axel that everyone saw just down the road. You work on cars/tires. You can see the tires are not evenly spaced. You could have said something else is going on. Not just made a quick buck off a few Californians. Bottom line I thought I was getting great service. Turns out I was just a tourist to take money from. read more

Warning! Do not take your car here! They are a straight up rip off! I brought my car into Madison County tire on May 3, 2021 because I had a brake light on when I came to pick up my car, I noticed there was some fluid on the ground in my driveway that wasn't there before so I had to take it back in. When I took it back in they said I had a hose leak so they charge me even more for that. I have air in my brake lines because they did not bleed my brakes and the hose still leaks and they shorted me a quart of oil on my oil change and didn't replace the oil filter. They refused to refund any of my money, and I now have more wrong with my car than I did before I took it there! You have been warned! read more

I went into the shop to buy 4 new tires and to get an alignment. The mechanic that put the new tires on my car comes out. He informs me that my front passenger tie rod is worn down completely and he recommends replacing the passenger and driver side tie rods. He goes on to say that until that happens he can not perform the alignment. They quoted me the cost for the labor and 2 tie rods at $700. I recognize the process to replace both tie rods can be lengthy but that is absurd. They were charging more than double the price for the tie rods that can be bought at almost any local auto parts store. I went to get another quote from The Auto Doctor in Springfield. They stated that my tie rods are completely fine! They then performed my alignment with no issues. My assumption is the mechanic couldn't bust the tie rods loose and decided that cutting them off would be an easier option for him as well as to put more money in their pockets. I'm not happy about leaving this review. I always recommend and champion supporting local businesses. This is one that I unfortunately will not continue to support. I made a Yelp account for the sole purpose of warning ANYONE that contemplates using their services. If you're unsure, always get a second opinion. I had unexpected car trouble in following a strong winter storm. I took a random exit just to get off the highway not knowing if I could get help. My family and I could not have been luckier!! The gas station we stopped at told us about Madison Tire which is a Good Year place as well. The people at Madison Tire were incredibly nice and took care of us right away. They figured out that my tires were out of alignment and repaired the problem. And on top of it all they charged a very fair rate for our emergency repair!! I am really lucky to have found this place during my car trouble. read more

Great tire shop. Actually offers quite a bit more than just tires. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I apparently have a non-common tire on my car that no shop seemed to stock except this spot. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for tires or basic maintenance. read more

I have gone here for years, and again today I was reminded why. These guys are fair, honest, and will not gouge you like you might expect from most car repair shops.
