We Absolutely LOVE the convenience of the location when it comes to receiving deliveries, getting on and off the freeway, getting in and out of Down Town Seattle. The front office team is always ready to help with pretty much any and everything. A particular kudos to James who we have communicated with the most since our move-in last June. Leasing Manager James Guzek in the front office is always extremely kind and accommodating since the moment we rented our unit. There is never a time anyone walks by when he doesn't wave and smile and call each person by name (which is so nice when you live in a big building in the City). I cannot say enough good things about the maintenance guy (Santos) and the entire team at the Equinox. We have not only been helped (right away) with everything we asked for, but we have also had very nice conversations with everyone outside of the "apartment talk". They are so friendly and kind, which makes for such a happy place to live. Most of the other tenants are great, never had any real problems and have found that even though many of the tenants are young in general, the place is particularly quiet most of the time. The parking situation could be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. We have the convenience of parking 2 vehicles in a very secured garage and always see security out and about walking the area. We know there have been some issues with the garage in terms of car break-ins, but the truth is that's a Seattle problem, not an Equinox problem. If you're not willing to take everything valuable out of your car wherever you're parked and always keep it locked, then I recommend forgoing a car in the city period. If you keep your vehicle clear of anything that looks valuable, it isn't an issue. We haven't had to speak with the Leasing Office too much, but when we did James and rest of the team were helpful and friendly. There are so many wonderful events being held weekly in the building, from Happy Hours, to rooftop pizza parties and football games and seasonal parties. How fun! Why'd we leave? We didn't. We still live here and are enjoying every minute of living in luxury, and will likely stay until we can afford to buy a place of our own. Good work Equinox Team. You guys are awesome.

I've lived at The Vibe for nine months and I will not be renewing my lease…read more I'll start with the positives of this building because there are some. The unit I rented has nice appliances and fits squarely into what I'd call a luxury apartment. The building is in a pretty good location. It's walkable to all the normal things you'd expect from a city including good bars, coffee shops, a grocery store (although PCC is your only option and is exceedingly overpriced), and the Burke Gillman Trail which runs along the water out to Gasworks Park. Also, the building's rooftop is awesome (great views, gas grills, lots of patio furniture). Now onto the negatives. This building sees routine break-ins, which the management is aware of, and yet nothing is being done to secure the building. The most recent break-in happened a few months ago and resulted in me having several hundred dollars worth of packages stolen from the lobby (the building does not have a proper package room so all packages are placed in the lobby). The culprit was caught on camera and was easily identifiable (the building manager graciously offered to show me the security camera footage). The building manager refused to file a police report on this incident despite this evidence he had saying "there's nothing the police would be able to do". I was not offered compensation for the stolen packages and I was informed by the building manager that the building owner(s) have refused to take any steps to secure the building. This would have involved investing in a package locker or a proper package room, or even leaving packages in the stairwell which adds an additional keyfob barrier. It should be noted that the trash room is more secure than where packages are kept (2 separate keyfob doors protect the trash room vs 1 protecting the lobby). What's worse is that the building manager never sent out correspondence to all the residents about the most recent break-in. The only reason I found out about it was because I reached out to him after failing to find my packages in the lobby, so it's unclear the total number of break-ins we've had. The incompetence of building management and their failure to take responsibility for security matters in the building is the largest driving factor for me deciding to move elsewhere. Another consideration about this building is the parking situation. The building has a tiny parking garage and most residents have to street park. On the bright side, a Seattle street parking permit is only around $60 for two years, but finding a parking spot on the street is a hassle. This area is very popular with very few parking garages so it's not uncommon for me to be forced to park multiple blocks away from my apartment, especially when coming home on a Friday/Saturday night. I hate writing negative reviews because I believe people generally try to do their best with the businesses they run but this is an unfortunate exception. I reached out to the building manager one last time before sitting down to write this and they are clearly aware of the building's security problems but refuse to do anything about it. I strongly recommend against leasing at The Vibe.

The bathroom faucet with water comes out was super nasty,had to replace them all .I replaced all outlet covers the lights in the kitchen had tons of bugs stuck too them. You can literally see every spot in the apartment that was patched, cause they did not texture or sand it.There were clothes behind the dryer, and among other things, the walls are paper thin you can hear the people above your yarn in the morning. The hallway carpet smells really bad. Has the entire building smelling don't even get me started with management. There's no on-site maintenance. The office staff is not the nicest and they do not reply to emails. I have already had to call the police on my upstairs neighbor for noise it is currently going on as I am typing this and at four in the morning after making several attempts to reach management This building has a nice location, but that is pretty much all it has going forward. I recommend you don't move here. I've been living here a month and I'm already considering moving out. Oh, not to mention parking is an additional $200 a month which we were guaranteed upon moving then denied upon moving in and the street has absolutely no parking

It uniquely links 11th, 12th, with Pike on Capitol Hill since 2018 (5/30/23). I am fond of urban architecture, but in ways that helps preserve the historical bones of the structure and continues to contribute to the neighborhood. Best summed up from an excerpt from the Dunn & Hobbes website, "Chophouse Row puts the "mixed" in "mixed-use", featuring state-of-the-art creative office space, an extensive retail marketplace and residential penthouses in the heart of the Pike-Pine neighborhood of Capitol Hill. The project combines the historic Chophouse building, built as an auto parts store in 1924 and used for decades as iconic band practice space, with a new office tower that features open plan workspaces with floor to ceiling windows and exposed steel structure. Salvaged materials were used throughout and the building features highly sustainable energy and water systems. A pedestrian mews and mid-block courtyard connects Chophouse Row through to Dunn & Hobbes' other 12th Avenue Marketplace properties." I do miss shuttered businesses such as Amandine, By Tae, Petti-Rosso, and Kurt Farm Shop, but I enjoy revisiting to see what new businesses have taken their place and newer ones to wander through. A big plus is the juxtaposition of the surrounding mixed materials and the sky above. It brings out my inner photographer. Also, the open courtyard is a great getaway especially during warmer months with their variety of outdoor seating and even during crisp autumn evenings when the firepit is lit.

The way the space is set up, it is pretty close quarters so a phone conversation would be a no no. One free beverage from Ada's is great since they have an amazing coffee options. And they bring it up to you when its ready. Same goes for food from the great cafe which is brought up to the Office when ready. This feels like a WeWork space without all the bells and whistles but it gets the job done. Also, the hours are much better than at most other shared office spaces. 8am to 9pm everyday including weekends (i believe) which is more flexible than other office spaces which only offer weekday options for drop ins (like me) and only 9a to 6p usually. Coworking space in the International District with the friendliest staff!…read more I've visited Hing Hay Coworks for a few meetings and each time has been a pleasant experience, primarily because the staff is so friendly here. In one instance when I visited, the person I was meeting with was running late, so the staff allowed me to use the entire space until I waited and offered to make coffee or tea for me. The same employee remembered me in my next visit, and I'm not even a member of Hing Hay Coworks. But perhaps I should be?! It's really great that the International District has a coworking space. The times I've visited in the morning, it's pretty busy with people working, but Hing Hay Coworks has a very inviting atmosphere to it. There are desks and private conference rooms, in addition to couches and communal space here. There is a kitchen here, too, that workers have access to. Plus, Hing Hay Coworks is located right by the Hing Hay Park, so is walkable from the light rail station. What's especially cool for Yelpers is if you check-in here, you get a free day pass for Hing Hay! So in case you need to work in the International District, make Hing Hay Coworks your new office!
