It sort of has the feel of a town plaza more than an office building, as there are lots of places to sit and things to look at. My favorite part of the building is the people who open the doors for you as you enter and exit. I'm not sure what hours they do this, but it was so nice to have that extra little touch! However, I would be totally remiss if I didn't talk about the elevators. Super high-tech, pleasant and very fast. I was working on the 21st floor, and never had to wait very long for an elevator. The ride up to my floor was smooth and pleasant. I would love if I was assigned to work in this building again, because it's amazing!

I would have no qualms with this if it…read moreweren't for the Paragon representative, Tanner Fogle, who is facilitating the sale and marketing. Through a series of events too long to account, I come to find photographs of the inside of my home posted online to advertise the building. My bedroom, my bed, my living room, belongings, my bathroom and toiletries, all online for anyone to see. I also notice that things of mine had been moved around: my bed had been made, pillows on my couch moved, things on my bathroom counter moved around. A complete disregard for my privacy and rights, and absolutely violating. This happened to multiple tenants in the building. I assume that Tanner Fogle worked with our management to arrange for "inspections" when the images were taken, while we were away at work. We were never told that photos would be taken for marketing purposes and posted online. On another day, Tanner Fogle arrived at my residence, announced himself as "management" and told me he was there to show the patio to contractors. Tanner Fogle then offered me 100 dollars for the "inconvenience." Odd. I left for work, and check my pet camera only to see he entered my home SIX additional times, bringing in groups of potential buyers who poked around in my apartment, opening closets and making inappropriate comments about my belongings. Tanner Fogle knowingly misrepresented who he was, his purpose for entering my home, and tried to placate questioning by offering me 100 dollars. I only wish I had installed my camera much earlier so I would have caught him moving my things around and taking pictures during his earlier unauthorized entry. I can only assume that was also him as he is the only contact displayed for the building's sale. I urge anyone who is seeking a commercial real estate agent or firm to look elsewhere. Clearly those working for Paragon have no issue violating the codes of ethics that any upstanding Realtor abides by, which explains why they choose not to belong to the National Association of Realtors. This should be a massive red flag. I am currently considering my legal options, as these acts violate licensure laws in the state of Washington.

He completely didn't respond to any of my realtors requests. He allowed the seller to misrepresent the condition of their home and he made no effort to make the situation right. Things that a buyer takes for granted such as ease of transition were completely disregarded and ignored. For example. I wasn't left a mailbox key. I wasn't left a garage remote. The dishwasher and washing machine were not in working condition to the extent of when the inspection was done. As a buyer and seller of numerous homes in multiple states I can i unequivocally urge you NOT to ever work with this realtor nor anyone associated with him. Don't let him represent you and don't buy from him. He lacks ethics and integrity and he represents sellers who lack the same standards. When making the purchase of your largest asset, do not trust this person If it were possible to give negative or zero stars, he absolutely earned the marks.

If anyone is threatened then you need to send a report to the Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection AND send it to the Olympia Office, MARK THE ENVELOPE CONFIDENTIAL. Why the Olympia Office? the Seattle office is staff is questionable, and the online form gets little or no attention. Issue: We gave Lauren Hendricks far more privileged information than we should have during the 20+ emails back and forth to set up the listing. Suddenly there was a considerable lull in the back and forth. We contacted her the day before the listing agreement was to be signed. We got the most bizarre email back cancelling the appointment telling us to find someone else. Windermere makes its money by listing & sales. We doubt that they make any money sending a client to a competitor. In our view, trust is paramount in any financial transaction & sharing information without the clients express written permission is unlawful.

When I asked them to re-do the appraisal PER THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT with my lender, they asked for an extra $1k. When I refused this, they said they'd do it for $500. I said yes. In this process, I did ALL OF THE WORK, including pro-formas, a business plan, etc. They did NOTHING. In the end, they came back and still said the highest and best use was residential, completely dismissing a lot of the work done in my business plan and pro forma. I don't think they actually did ANY research. So this effectively killed my commercial loan for the property. I then did a rural residential land loan through another lender. Kidder charged another $1k that was rolled into my loan JUST TO UPDATE my existing appraisal. So I've effectively paid $4k for an appraisal that in all honesty should have ben $2k, let alone it killing my commercial ag loan that cost me a lot of interest points. This company is taking advantage of the hot housing marketing and NOT providing services worth their asking price. STAY AWAY.

In short, we had two other reputable appraisers in the area with 30+ years experience take a look at the appraisal and confirm what we already knew- which was that the appraisal was biased, and unfair. They were pretty angered by it, and told us to return to the buyer and get it amended or find a new appraiser. (We contacted them independently of one another and they both shared a similar opinion.) Also, for what it's worth, it was poorly written considering that it was coming from a big name brand like Kidder Mathews. I will likely file a complaint with WA state against the actual appraiser, but I think the Kidder Mathews should vet their people a little more, perhaps give them more on the job training and not hire young college grads with only a BA to be their VP. In the end, we were short-changed a significant amount of money.

If you want to purchase Title Ins. through her from Fidelity National Title Co. of WA Inc. then prepare yourself for paying triple the amount comparing to First American National Title Co. In my case she quoted me the amount of $3,268.87 and when I asked her for discounts she said she was unable to give me any discounts b/c the price of my place is below $2M and it is multi-family property. She also mentioned to me if I check w/other companies they might be lower $100.00 only. I checked w/other companies and First American Title Insurance Co quoted me the price of $1,162.66 including taxes for exactly the same policy. Then my super smart real estate agent Ryan Iles w/Wow! 7 years experience from Paragon Real Estate Advisors (business next door to megan) http://www.paragonrea.com is telling me that I have to deal w/megan b/c that "super star" she never makes any mistakes, she is such a genius on this planet, and there is no other person in the world who can close my simple 1031 Exchange. On the bright side, they helped organize our financial records better, and seemed to ensure better compliance with state condo laws, but that wasn't enough to justify retaining their property management services in the long term. I was relieved when our HOA switched to a new property management firm. Can't agree more with the other critical reviews I see here.

Expect months of delays in responding to your requests, followed by no action or follow through, cherry on topped by them telling you (the customer) that whatever was needed or requested has been resolved when there has been no action taken to support it, plus you can still see the unresolved issues. After a while of treating you poorly you get to move on to a forced raise that is backed up with threats of more expensive costs if the raise is not approved in full ("don't pay us this increase and we'll make you pay a third party to support your special assessment" even though supporting special assessments was in our contract). Once the strong arming finishes up then be expected to be prompted for holiday bonuses - given the lack of service and treatment of your customers it has to be embarrassing to then ask for a bonus, doesn't it? If your property needs any larger than normal projects, expect to pay another company to handle it - it's a fun way to pay for things at least twice, all at the same time. And if you ask for support getting an interest bearing account, be prepared to have TRF tell you and your association the moneys in an interest bearing account only to find out it isn't, only then to be told it's somehow your fault. It's actually crazy!Lastly, when it comes to sending contractors out to your property don't expect much and when you find yourself being asked to pay for services multiples times, be ready to show the proposal of work (sow) to your property manager more than 5 times before she reads it and then follows up with the contractor which is only because the contractor also is bugging to be paid. It's truly unbelievable how little this company did and how many problems it didn't resolved and seemed to prefer to create. When told of the unhappiness of the customers TRF responds by telling you that you can shop around and that they feel they're a good option. If that's real, all property management companies should close up shop now. It doesn't appear to be true though as TRF set the bottom of the rating scale and the new property management company we have is much more responsive and solution oriented. Good riddance TRF, if this is a company you are considering I would HIGHLY discourage you from proceeding into such a nightmare. TH/KH
