Great place in Jackson, Al for automotive work. Have had oil change several times and noticed that…read morethey also do authomotive work. The current place I have used is backed up tremendously and sometimes days waiting to get work done. While I have trusted my current business very much I wanted to try out Penzoil Lube Center due to their efficient work on oil changes. We had a family vacation planned for the mountains in North Carolina and wanted brakes to be in top shape. You know going around some of the mountains, going downhill, etc...you dont need faulty brakes. The current brakes have some age but not alot of use so I at least needed them checked out. Upon calling I learn I can bring the car in and have it back by lunch. So off I go. After dropping the car off and being gone a little over an hour I get a call from them. Expecting the worse and hoping for the best I brace my self. The owner informs me the brakes are in good shape and I will not have a problem going 4 to 5 thousand more miles. I inform him of the mountain trip and he still is good with the current condition of the brakes. Didnt try to do any add on work or anything like that. This day and time it can be hard to find an honest reptuble auto repair shop. But here in Jackson we now have two places to go for automotive needs.

They helped me get in a car took my large downpayment and everything was great for about 50 days. A 14000 dollar car worked 51 days and the entire electrical traction control system went out. Come to find out its a preexsisting fault that was cleared. After contacting the very supposedly NICE sales team their answer was "it was sold as is you were offered the extended warranty you didnt take it all we can do is refer you to service would you like me to connect you" I quote. So as a multi million dollar buisness they rob a Disabled Veteran who they knew was barely feeding his family took all the money they could and knowingly sold me a car that was faulty, then tried to extort more money from me in the service dept. Like seriously what is wrong with this story. I am definitely contacting a lawyer I will keep the review up as things go

Manager said they could install the kit but since I didn't get it from them it was going to be over $900 instead of $600 and some change. I declined. To me that's money hungry and immoral To charge more cause the person didn't buy the kit from them! I will never try to do business with this Dealershio again!
