Driving back to Texas from Alabama, out car started making a high pitched screeching sound, late afternoon on a Friday. We got lucky and pulled into a Wal-Mart, but they don't do repair work. An employee however said he knew someone close by who owns a shop, and he called him. Within MINUTES, the owner showed up and took a look. Honestly, we have had bad luck with mechanics, doing bad work and charging exhorbitante fees, we were prepared for the worst, the engine sounded terrible and we were in small town MS, we figured an overnight stay and pricey repair bill. We got the car to their shop, granted, not impressive in appearance, but they had a group of guys, late in the day on Friday, when they were preparing to go home for the night. The owner identified a badly shredded serpentine belt as the issue. They obtained a replacement then noticed the pulleys were very bad, again, we were fully prepared for the full "gotcha" repair price. The got replacement pulleys, did the full repair. I had googled estimates for similar repairs and I was prepared for a 2x- 3x the average repair for the bill. Not only was it not, it was on the lower end of the expected repair range and they did it in an incredible time frame for a family of 4 that really needed to get back on the road. I don't give many 5 stars, but this place easily earned it, and a few more stars if I could, very highly recommended, unfortunately they are not local to me, otherwise they would be my repair/maintenance shop of choice going forward.

When I got there to test drive it, they literally put just enough fuel so the fuel warning light to come on, so that tells you how far I tested drove it. Anyway I ended up purchasing the vehicle in less than 30 days later, (before I made my first payment mind you) I had spent over 3k ON REPAIRS! I mean everything from abs sensors, mass air flow sensor, thermastat, not to mention diagnosis etc..Come to find out they put a bullshit aftermarket catalytic converter on my truck which was already clogged up when I purchased it. However what they did was leave a small hole in the catalytic converter so the hot air pressure would be able to release. But in doing so after 2 weeks my truck kept getting louder and louder so I got the whole welded shut on the catalytic converter. When I did that that's what all the problems started from overheating to misfires to the truck going into low power mode! I took my vehicle to multiple mechanics and they all say the same thing the catalytic converter was bad and they can tell it was just put on recently! SO IN OTHER WORDS THEY KNOWINGLY SOLD ME A LEMON! And guess what the $2,500 warranty that I purchased with the vehicle didn't cover a catalytic converter because that's considered a Maintenance repair!!! When I contacted the dealership about the issue after running me around for about a week they told me that they will pay for half of the parts and labor which only came to about $900-and told me I was LUCKY to get that and that they didn't have to do anything!! And guess what that, was over a week ago and they still haven't paid it! So of course I had to pay it out my pocket! Talk about SCANDLELESS!?! Issac was my salesman and some dude named Butch in the service dept, was the guy bulls#*tting me about paying the measly $900 portion of the repair, which he swore was going to be sent overnight.. that was about 9 days ago good thing I didn't hold my breath! But it's cool because I promise on everything I love I will get the LAST LAUGH. They'll be hearing from my attorney very soon.. I got the time and money today!
