We have been living at the Papillon Apartments for almost two years now. We couldn't be happier. The manager Brandon Lockett and his team are very friendly and accommodating. They all work very well together to make sure our legitimate concerns are taken care of. When we had maintenance issues, Brandon, the manager, was right on it. He sent out his maintenance man George and it was taken care of promptly. Now I ask, where do you usually find that ? I just felt that when people treat you right, like management here has treated us, they deserve some commendation. If you were to move here, I don't think you would be disappointed. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and each of the units have full size Washers and Dryers, it is a nicely run complex, and a nice place to live. Jim and Denise

She was always available and ready to help with whatever we needed. She is very attentive and cares a lot about her residents. Also, if we needed anything from maintenance they were quick to get back to us even after hours which was great! I had in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment with my husband. Very spacious and perfect for us, loved the spacious guest bathroom, as well as the walk in closet. As far as the outside, it is very clean, although there was constant trouble to find parking at times. It was difficult to find parking for guests when they would come over. But overall, it was a great experience and it really did feel like home.

These neighbors have been noisy all day every day since they moved in. I have made numerous complaints with the onsite management, security, their corporate office as well as Fresno PD. They have done the absolute minimum to address the issue. I even have recordings of the neighbor, specifically the wife, constantly berating and cursing her kids out, mainly when the husband isn't home. A lot of tenants have dogs where they don't pick up after them so you can't even enjoy laying out by the pool on a blanket in the grass because you might get dog shit on you. Kids are destroying the apartment property and digging the rocks from the ground and throwing them in the driveway. Now, I come out to a note on my car, asking if I own the parking space because I haven't moved my car in a while. I have access to multiple vehicles so I drive one more than the other. At the end of the day, that's none of that person's business. But to feel comfortable tampering with people's private property and having management respond saying they will monitor that area more, mind you there is no onsite security. But you can send a text message blast about some freaking rocks. Might as well live in the ghetto. As least you know what to expect. Don't move here.

The management company refused to do anything about it. They refused to install more cameras. Oh and "security" is a 25 year old fat girl who can barely even get out of her egg car. The maintenance guy is lazy and instead of replacing things like the fronts of cabinets or handles was unprofessional and used super clue and clamps. The grounds are very well kept, it's pin-drop quiet at night and very safe. The rent is reasonable for the area and we're grateful we found our home here. We are very lucky to have one that listens, responds quickly and is on top of everything. Our maintenance man, Felipe, is also wonderful & is always available for anything we may need him for. Some friends had lived here previously and recommended it while I needed a place to live while looking for a more long-term housing arrangement (i.e. a house!). We were lucky to get an updated unit with hard flooring in the living room, kitchen and hallways. We also had a washer-dryer hook-up, though some units don't have them. Overall it was a quiet place to live, friendly neighbors, a covered parking spot was provided and when I did use the communal laundry it was all in working order. The grounds and maintenance staff are helpful and friendly. The office staff changed over in the short time I was there but were helpful in getting us set up. I didn't use the pools or courts but they got a lot of use. There's a box with a call centre for entry which didn't always work well but the complex felt safe and secure. Our actual unit was fine: though having no overhead lighting or fans in the bedrooms was a total pain. Other than that it's pretty 80s, not the most up to date but everything worked and nothing broke. The one time I did call maintenance (my bad) they came the next day. The move-out process was smooth and fair. If you're looking for a standard apartment at a standard price that's centrally located this is a safe bet.

When you sign a rental agreement with Denise you are basically signing away your civil rights . If you get on her bad side you're done she will find reasons to push her weight around so things go her way . I have filed in action with Urban fair housing and discrimination. She has clearly violated my civil rights. She gave me a 3-day notice not because of rent it's just because she don't like me because I don't follow her laws . The 3-day notice included that I am not to conduct myself any way I want at Coventry Cove lol. She really wrote that in the 3-day notice lol. My unit is nice inside and she has done nothing but complain about me . I honestly think she belittles tenants to feed her ego. I truly believe she is sick in the head needs medication and she is uprooting a lot of tenants here. If you look at other Yelp reviews she tries to screw you out of your security deposit. I battled with her for 2 years because they brought in a new fridge and damaged it she never cared to come in and document or take pictures. I asked for 2 years. No response. Instead she ignores your emails and phone calls. She does not care about our security deposit. It's clear by denying me a simple two sentence letter saying I didn't cause the damage. She turns a little pimple into a giant crater. That is how she does business here at Coventry cove. The property is nice but I'm thinking of looking for a new place to live. It's not worth the mental stress. I'm 63 I don't have much money and she has no problem and strive to just put people on the street because she feels like it. So just beware people.
