Loved loved loved our experience here. As first timers, we didn't know what to expect because flea markets are a hit or miss. We had our personal tour guides (family that lives in town) so it was a simple maneuver throughout the grounds. Our party of 9 arrived on Sunday around noon. It was crowded but with good energy all around. We had fish tacos, oysters, shrimp ceviche, churros, fully baked potatoes, fresca, and other munchies. We also had beers while we were walking around -- super fun and relaxing. There are a variety of vendors selling almost everything you can think of -- from clothing to jewelry to baby accessories. It was really fun to look through each stand. It's $2 per adult at the entrance but totally worth it. Highly recommend if you're in Madera! read more

I love coming here! Mostly for the great tocos, fresh grilled corn with all the fixings and loaded baked potatoes... and I love all the fresh fruit drinks but watermelon is my fav. , . I also love the great deals on the local fresh produce. Lots of great finds here from used to new . Parking is free but admission to enter is $1. Well worth it. If you've never been I suggest you give it try. Something fun to do on a Sunday. They're open on Wednesday's too. read more

We were driving from Fresno back to the Bay Area and decided to stop here because it was on our way home. Wow we were amazed just driving up here it was huge. Parking was $free but $1.50 to get in not bad at all. The best thing I saw was walking up on the side a young guy was renting wagons for $5. Inside there was a large selection of food and vegetables. Some used items and a lot of Mexican clothing. The vendors there are competitive so you get a great deal. The place was very clean. It was very big and you can do plenty of walking. We bought a lot of things and I think we spent about $50. Definitely a steal and we will for sure return here. read more

This place allowes entrepreneurial ownership in America to succeed at its best. There's a tremendous mix of homegrown organic foods household items and just a whole Lotta fun things to look at. Haggling is still allowed and quite enjoyable. Vendors seem to expect it. It is some of the best fruits and vegetables From local growers. That care about the consumption of food for themselves and therefore for the general public which means A+ plus for you and I. It's worth the shop about. It's an enjoyable day. Love this place. Parking is free and easy to find. Lots of things to see new old and junk. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and other Mexican foods and products. People will haggle so it is part of. The game of things be fair . Don't be ridiculous about haggling.. Lots of things for craft projects and more. Go early for best selection of stuff. A great place to go. Oh entrance is150 cheap. read more

Had never tried Oaxacan Mexican food (Tacos Los Girasoles)until I saw a taco truck here. It's great. Oaxacan Mole and posole is something else. They also have the best baked potatoes here(Los Amigos food stand)!!!! This has become a Sunday routine for my family. The food is the biggest reason we come here (also try Tacos Rosales taco truck). The other non-food selling vendors are the same as every other flea market... totally unorganized, but fun to explore. read more

This is the real deal flea market! There are plenty of people selling used and refurbished stuff. I hate when you go to the flea market and it's all cheap knock offs and new crap.This place takes me back to being a kid, cruising aisles of treasure all day on Sunday. :) There's even a guy who sells Legos and you can get a punchcard to get free Legos. read more

They always have a different excuse: "We're not giving cash today," "We're not taking fall items", and the last time I went, just a couple of days ago, they said, "We're not taking summer clothes anymore." They also claimed my items weren't in good condition, even though they were cute and in great shape. The only thing they bought was a Nike T-shirt, and they offered just $2 for it. At this point, don't waste your gas. You're better off selling your clothes on Facebook Marketplace or Depop, where you'll get much more for them.

I came in for a consultation to tighten loose prongs on two diamonds on my wedding band. When I walked in, I was greeted by a saleswoman who took my ring and almost immediately called over a colleague for help. Having two salespeople inspect a ring for 10 minutes, completely misidentify the metal as white gold, and speak with zero confidence was an immediate red flag. It felt less like a high-end jeweler and more like a mass-market commercial chain like Kay Jewelers, where sales volume is prioritized over staff expertise. When they initially quoted me $250 for white gold, I had to correct them and clarify that my band is platinum. Their instant response? "Well, that's going to cost more, $500." Five hundred dollars just to tighten existing prongs, no new metal, no replaced stones. I walked out in shock. A month later, one of the diamonds fell out. Luckily, I found it while cleaning, and my husband found The Diamond Gallery on Yelp. We were greeted by Brandon, who welcomed us with a level of warmth and genuine customer care I didn't experience at Orloff. He inspected my ring within a minute with complete confidence, confirmed it was platinum with intact prongs, and explained they could set the loose diamond, tighten the prongs, reshape the band, and clean it. His quote? $35. Thirty-five dollars! I got my ring back a few days later, and it looks absolutely flawless and I barely recognized it! It was stunning, I was so blown away by the quality of work and exceptional service that I voluntarily paid double his quoted price. I initially visited Orloff because coworkers recommended them, but had I known they would quote an arm and a leg for basic work, I would have saved myself the trip. While I'm sure they have happy customers, their pricing for simple repair work is entirely unreasonable. Save yourself the headache and go to a real, knowledgeable craftsman. Maybe an overstaffed sales floor seems to have diluted the staff's expertise. Having two employees inspect a ring and misidentify it as white gold is a clear sign of a lack of product knowledge.

Regardless, I bought a 4oz bottle of Goats Milk Honey Lotion for $6. Compared to mainstream companies, this is quite a lot of product for the price, and it works well! I made a separate review for Zander's Coffee, but in short, it was poor quality. Overall we were saddened by the lack of accurate hours but delighted to have found Modee's shop.

There IS a good Mexican restaurant there, too! The downfall for this place? There's not much in the way of parking. One year we were parked way up the side road and had to tromp through the weeds. It really is a fun day, though, when you're looking for a holiday weekend adventure.
