I've purchased three buildings from them, every time they knocked it out of the park, everybody from the office to the field do a excellent job read more

They arrived early and were on the job ASAP ! It was not easy at they only had a couple of feet to install the siding. Willie and his team were very professional and clearly they are masters at their craft. I would highly recommend Madera Car Port. read more

On time, built well and low prices. I'm impressed!! The work was completed as promised.

We had a guy out told him exactly what we wanted. He gave us a price. We paid in full and nothing was done as we asked. When we said something they made sure it wasn't on the contract. Liars it was 8000$ and not what we paid for. Like scammers read more

purchased our building through Augie at Foothill Country Sheds. This is a big project for us and Augie was recommended by our neighbor. Augie is great! His knowledge, advice, and pricing were great. We are extremely happy with Augie. But this review must also include Madera Carports. They supply the buildings sold by Augie. Augie guided us through the designs and options for the building. Madera Carports brought the building and constructed it from Monday to Wednesday. This is literally where the metal meets the ground. It must first be noted that Augie's help and guidance was perfect. His patience is world class. A four man team brought and constructed the building. The team leader is Juan, and with him was Tony, Luis, and Omar. Juan ran through the building design and placement on our new pad. Juan pointed out some issues that were my fault and fixed them on the fly. We asked for his advice and any suggestions. He complied and because of Juan our building surpassed our hopes and expectations. Juan and his team worked nonstop and took pride in their work. We are so pleased with them that we asked them to sign our building. They were respectful, patient with us, and extremely competent. The building is a piece of art itself. These people exemplify the greatness of those that make our country great. It has been an amazing experience and has left us wishing we had more money to pay them. Thank you Augie, Juan, Tony, Luis and Omar! read more

Madera Carport installed the carport on my neighbor's mobile after avoiding her telephone calls for a long time. They got someone else to install the gutters. The first snowstorm made them useless. They again avoided her telephone calls, and as of today, April 24. 2024 the gutters are not repaired, and the rain runs onto my property and puddles near the siding of the mobile, unless I go out and attempt to pump the water to the street. I tried to contact them by telephone and by way of the internet and have received no response. I know that based on her experience, and my experience, I would steer clear of this company. read more

I had Madera carport build and supply an RV cover for our needs. The installers were great and had it up within a few hours. The price and quality was very good. The end result exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend. read more

We have two of their carports (one for our two cars and one for a patio cover in our back yard). The car one is probably 10+ years old and the other is maybe 6 years old. Both were put up quickly and still are in great condition. The prices were reasonable also. Highly recommend. read more

Madera Carports seem to be nice. But the company took advantage of an elderly family member. They sold the carport and said they would install and take care of anything required to complete the install. Well, they didn't follow the state law and installed the carport without a permit. We worked with another contractor to get some work done for heath reasons and are unable to obtain any other permits until the carport Madera installed was permitted. The contractor contacted Madera and offered to permit the carport for them and all they needed were the designs, but haven't had any responses and we need the work done for heath reasons and with his age it's vital we do it soon. When we called Madera they said we could buy the design they used for $500.00. After checking the California State License Board we noticed there have been several complaints for this company and this same reason. We will be filing a formal complaint with the CSLB and showing the Madera contract that states they follow all state and local AHJ laws and rules which is clearly not the case. Since we own a property that cannot have work done thanks to Madera Carports. Please make sure if you let these people install your carport you demand to see the permit. And do not let them work without one or you'll be in the same boat as us. And if they say you don't need one check with CSLB to make sure because they told us 99% of the time contractors need a permit for work to be completed. Have a good night. read more

Had them enclose a carport that they put in several years ago and it was good. Went back to buy a couple windows and upgrade the door. They gave me the wrong door and charged me the install price even though they weren't installing. Dug up some old 30x30 window and charged me the install price again. The second window was nice but double the price of Home Depot. No discount for purchase. Charged full install price. One door and 2 windows was almost $1000. They said I could exchange door for correct one but it will cost me $40 in gas. They should bring me the correct door since it was their error. I won't do business with them again. They ripped me off big time. read more

We ordered a 34x35 building in December and was told upfront it would take about 10 weeks to fulfill due to high demand. I called the office to follow up with production and was told they were a little behind schedule. If I left a message, I received a timely call back. I appreciated the honesty and we were never promised something that wasn't delivered. Our installation was about 3 weeks later than expected, and the installation crew (who were awesome) showed up on time. The installation was supposed to take 2 days but ended up taking 3, which wasn't a problem for us. Watching the crew install the building was fun. They did an excellent job and cleaned up completely before leaving. The building is a lot sturdier construction for what we thought we would get for the price. It looks beautiful and we love it! We would highly recommend Madera Carports if you are looking for a metal carport or building for a very reasonable price read more

Sure would be nice if they had a working website. Any business that can't have an operational website makes me wonder about anything else they do. read more

Can't speak to their products or workmanship. I can't even get them to return phone messages, send me promised email with all the info about their products and the prices. info which has NOT been unavailable for several weeks on their sorry website. The one time I actually connected with someone at their office she told me it would be a month before the web site was fixed. Duh, the web site host can fix it 5 minutes if you pay your hosting site and server bill. She's also the one who lied to me about sending me the product info in an email. These guys are a joke. And what's the 42 pics of buildings they appear to be claiming as theirs, all submitted by some yelp newbie in San Francisco? This all speaks volumes about their company and it's lack of any business standards. They may have been the go to company once upon a time. No more.. read more

Used to to be an inexpensive way to put up a cover I have used them multiple times. The last time the price seemed a bit high and it was .call around you will find them for almost half of what they quoted. Sorry won't use them again read more

I ordered a carport for my backyard and was told 7 to 8 weeks to come out. They had the measurements correct on the drawing but wrong on their other paperwork so they showed up and could not install it. They had to redo my order and I had to wait an additional 5 weeks to get the carport installed. I decided to give them a second chance at my business and I ordered two more carports from them. They charged me a deposit for both carports but showed up with only one carport because they didn't see they had two orders and not just one. So they had to go back and manufacture the second carport and called me a week later to install both carports. They gave me a 4 hour window to show up for the installation. I waited and waited and after waiting an hour past the show up window time I tried to call them to see what the problem was. I called about 5 times and they never answered their phone. As I write this review I am still waiting for them. I was able to call the sales rep for the company but not the office that scheduled the work. I was very patient with the hassles they caused me but I will never use them ever again. I still don't know if they will call me back or ever show up. I gave them a deposit of 10% but according to the contract it is not refundable. read more

If I could give this company a 1/2 star I would. The workmanship on the carports in stock were passable but not impressive. After going into the office I asked about a carport I thought would suit my needs and the price was OK. I needed plans to give the county and they wanted an extra $600 for that. They said the plans would take two months! I thought this was odd since I have purchased carports and sheds in the past and nobody has ever asked me to pay for plans much less 2 months of extra wait time! Then they said the carport would take another 2 months to build and and install and if I did not order that day the price would be going up by 25%, they did not say why. I ordered the carport and paid the $600. A few days later I found out the carport I ordered would be a foot to small so I called and asked about changing the size. They said that would change the price and would add another month to the delivery (now we are 5 months from delivery plus county plan check time). And of course the price for another foot would go way up. I asked for my $600 back and they would only give me $500 back. I don't know why. I could see this disaster coming from a mile away. There are more reputable places for carports in the Fresno area. The price may not be as good but service and "no hassle" attention you will get from other companies will be well worth the headaches you save if you deal with this company. I will keep posting on my journey for shed/carport for my new boat. read more

Madera carport good people to deal with have bought from them multiple times and always good service

I first ordered my carport from a rep for Madera Carports on 10/15/17 and was told delivery would be 2-3 weeks from that date. I was called 2 weeks later and told end of Nov. I was then called and told second week in Dec. I contacted the office and spoke with their manager Meena (not sure if spelling is correct) she explained how busy they were and how she had contacted most of their rep's with correct delivery expectations. I asked if she had contacted mine and was told no because he only sold a couple a month. I called closer to delivery date in Dec. to conform date and was then told the 2nd week in Jan 2018! I was given bogus reasons as to why they were not delivering AGAIN. I told her if they had been honest in the first place about how long it was going to take I would have gone someplace else. She had the nerve after I had already waited 2 1/2 mos that I could go someplace else. I asked if she had contacted my/her rep yet so that he was not quoting the same 2-3 week delivery date and her response was that she was just too busy. I did her job for her and contacted the rep so some other poor sap would not get the run around as I have. I wonder how many other clients they let believe delivery dates will be 2-3 weeks never intending to honor those time frames? In the mean time my poor horses have had no shelter. I would not recommend this company under any circumstance. Their customer service is non existent. I fully intend to also report to BBB. read more

Only giving them one star because system won't let me give them anything less. Tried multiple times to get them to come look at my mother's carport, she kewps getting the runaround they evidently didn't put screws in the sum of the fascia. Will not recommend to friends or family. read more

I have used them a couple of times. Customer service is good. The first time, the crew was better. This rating is an average of the two times. The second time was a 3. This last time, the crew showed up and had left their keys in Madera for the tool box on the truck that they needed to do the work. They had to borrow my tools to get the lock removed. In both cases the work was very good. One guy on the last crew though needed some more supervision, and he wandered around a lot doing nothing and whatever he did do was slow and a bit flawed. They also took with them two struts I that had to be removed for the second job that I wanted to use elsewhere, and one guy borrowed two pairs of duckbill pliers, which I made a point of asking him to return, but came to find out that he did not. Also the cleanup by the second crew left a lot to be desired. There were metal filings spread far and wide that I had to clean up despite the fact that the third wheel guy walked around looking like he was cleaning up with a pickup magnet, but actually did not. I also picked up seven self-drilling sheet metal screws in the driveway; the kind that like to get in your tires. read more
