Joel was our service technician, and he called ahead to ask if he could arrive early since he had finished his previous jobs ahead of schedule. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and able to fix all the issues we were having. We had one garage opener that would not connect to my husband's car. Joel tried multiple attempt to get it connected but it was just not working. So the machine was probably defective and or just old. Before leaving, he tried another approach involving an extra remote and some quick thinking, and he successfully got the garage device connected to my husband's car. We were extremely impressed and felt he truly went above and beyond. We'll eventually need to replace our belt-drive garage door openers, and Phillips will absolutely be the company we use. I searched around and found Phillips Garage Door to be the perfect solution for my garage door needs. Our garage had been converted many years ago but I wanted my garage back. Mike Phillips came over and gave us some advice on how to cut out the sheetrock and siding that the previous owners had added. After we tore everything out he came out again to get the measurements perfect. He ordered everything and we went with a Jackshaft opener which is very cool because it mounts next to the door rather than on the ceiling. That was important to me because the previous owners finished the ceiling and it would have been kind of low. The new openers come with a bluetooth light that you can put anywhere and a wifi connection so you can open or close the door with your app. It even has a motion sensor so when you walk in the light turns on. This is more needed than I expected. I was amazed that they only sent out one guy but he installed everything in a half a day, answered all my questions and did a great job. I had Joel come out and replace nylon rollers on my 2 1/half year-old garage door, which was making a lot of noise and I needed some maintenance on it. I gave this company a call Tuesday morning and they told me they would send someone over between 9AM-12PM. They were correct, 2 of their workers arrived around 11AM and it took them about 30 minutes to replace the spring for me. Prices were as quoted, no surprises. There is a 2 or 3% convenience fee to pay by credit card but you can pay by check instead. I was told the spring also comes with a 1 year warranty. Great service!
