I'm now obsessed and have painted every day since I joined, with three finished paintings that I'm really happy with. Dave, the owner, is so warm, welcoming, knowledgable, and supportive--he'll leave you alone if you want to just do your own thing, or he'll chat with you about your art if you want feedback. The space is set up incredibly well, ready for any kind of visual art you might want to do. The classes are fantastic too. I'm so happy that Dabble exists!

This is a super well laid out, super well lit super cool art studio available to the public!!…read more I was shipping art prints at the renowned Greenwood post office and happened upon this on my way back - the owner was available and was gracious enough to give me a tour of the space! They have TONS of professional tools!! Including silk press, vinyl cut, a station to assemble prints/zines etc, a station with a hood to do spray paints!! Looked like they had all kinds of paint brushes one might try, LOTs of professional sinks in their clean up area, even a fridge, small lockers, cubbies and a microwave if you need to put in an extra long session. All set up in the most organized and functional fashion, it's SO COOL!! They also offer classes to learn new techniques! The studio rate looks to be $10 an hour for individuals and $20 for a family unit, ( it's gotta be Guardians and kids who live under the same roof, it's not necessarily a group rate) I was shocked to see so much cool stuff at once so this list isn't complete and I've yet to get everyone together for a visit, but upon first glance this looks like an incredible community asset!!

Want just enough Modge Podge to finish that decoupage project? Go here. Need some rubber stamps to make homemade cards or gift tags? Definitely go here! They have a big selection. The place is rather messy and hodgepodge and had an odd smell when I was there. If you're someone who likes their shopping experience to be clean, well-lit, and orderly, this ain't your joint. But it's fun to go through the shop to inspire yourself and see if any treasures call out to you. Some things were a great buy and some were not, so shop wisely. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and I support the reuse and upcycle mission of Seattle ReCreative, so I'll be back.

Came here for the community aspect as they hosted one of many locations for a town wide community cocktail walk was going on. We sipped cardamom-lemon vodka here as featured by a local restaurant. While there we chatted with the shop employees who were very nice. While sipping we browsed the studio looking at are pieces by local artists which can be purchased. A perfect example of supporting small business and local art. Push/Pull lives up to their statement being a part of and promoting the community. There is a fair amount art supplies here - including but of course not limited to Sketch books, brushes, glazes, paints, easels and more. They offer classes and have info about events going, so if you're an artist and want to be in more 'in the know' it may be worth checking out Push/Pull simply for that. I hope Push/Pull continues to be a part of the neighborhood!

I attended a romance improv that was surprisingly funny and met a lot of cool people. CLASSES. A variety of craft classes where you can meet new people and learn something new. There are also lots of craft supplies you could buy in the store. The owner is also lovely to talk with and since they just opened has been so willing to hear from customers and make fine-tunes. They sell various pieces made for donation, and donate to a different cause each month (or week?). However, during this time on Friday, the wheels are all usually full so I would recommend going right at 6. If you're new and you ask for assistance you'll get a great tour and they will work with you to get a wheel. Otherwise, the rest of the times I have gone have been a fail in securing a wheel:( My favorite part about this place is that the neighborhood cat likes to hang around. He's just the cutest little guy and is always working so hard at the front desk!

They also offer "open studio" hours where you can use the space for an hourly fee if you don't want to sign-up for the full membership. They have quite a few wheels available for classes and general studio use and a fair selection of glazes. We took a bootcamp class to get our start with ceramics and learn the ropes. They offer a wide range of classes from beginner to advanced skills. They have drying areas and a kiln where they will fire your creations. Street parking is limited in the area, but there is an underground garage located right across the street. The underground parking garage does charge a pretty steep per-hour rate however (3 hrs was over $17 as of 2/2023). Overall, a nice space with good people. A great space to learn or practice your ceramics. Definitely worth checking out!

Kids were giggling and squealing with delight, kicking tossing and running through balloons. And if that wasn't enough, on the way out, we were offered a tiny cup of "pride Os!" (Fruit Loops). Staff were friendly and welcoming and seemed so happy to see and dance with the kids.
