I've been coming for more than 3 years and overall would be a 5 if I just stuck with Brando. I don't know if there's a misunderstanding in what Im saying but when I choose someone else besides him due to scheduling conflict, my hair cut aren't the same. I assume im clear in what I request such as leaving the top as is but I'm always open for minor suggestion. This time, the barber said he would want to blend it, but I didn't think I would have a new head shape and he did cut a lot off. Fade was alright, just don't understand where the miscommunication happen elsewhere. Now I prefer to wear a hat and look like cailou then a king penguin I am really blind without my glasses so I don't really see the results until the end and by then, it is what it is. read more

Been going here since their location off of Westheimer and Fondren. I believe they have a max of 12-15 barbers on staff. It's walk in friendly, but I recommend making an appointment. Marvin is my go to guy and he's precise. But i've had a chance to be cut by over 6 of their barbers there and all of them do a good job! read more

Worst haircut ever. Way too short. Clipped and trimmed my ears and the sides of my face. Didn't ask and didn't need it. The first time I got a haircut, I was pretty satisfied... about an 8/10. However, yesterday, I was very disappointed. Maybe this is on me, but usually when I go to get a haircut, I just go in without concern of whether or not it is the same person cutting my hair. Yesterday, when I went in for a haircut, I was expecting the same, higher quality cut that I received last time. However, this guy had no idea what he was doing. My hair had been growing out for over two months now, and I have very thick, curly hair. I usually am not too concerned about a cut, since I usually just let my hair run free. "Little shorter on the sides, and trim the top and the back". This guy had no idea how to cut curly hair. He basically gave me a redneck type mullet, which was the most uneven cut I've ever seen. I'm talking a 4 on one side and 3 on the other. Extra limb sticking out on the back left type thing. The top was arguably worse. The best part about my hair is its thickness and curls. However, he went so overboard on the layering scissors that I looked like an affirmative action addition to the Backstreet Boys. read more

My son just got his haircut at Made Men, we didn't have an appointment and they were pretty busy but the guy at the counter was kind enough to squeeze us in. Erik Gomez who was working the chair directly behind the front counter did a great job, he listen to what we wanted and halfway through he asked if the length was good! I think that's what a great barber should do, because I feel like a jerk when they keep going and I have to tell them to go a little shorter. Do not go to this place unless you want a fade do you have short hair they don't work well with you over an inch and a half long. I left there with my hair over into half longer on the left side of the right and the top looks like they took a Weedwhacker to it I think working with longer hair was out of the kids skill set. I went in with a vague idea of a hairstyle and Jesus worked lots of magic and I look phenomenal. His attention to detail was top notch and I will be returning in the future. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a while. I called the front desk lady and she confirmed my appointment for 2:30 PM and I walked in at 2:20 PM. She notified me that she made an error and that she could get me in at 3:00 PM. I told her that I had to get back to work but if she could make sure that I could see the barber at 3:00 PM then that's fine. It's 3:15 and I still don't have a seat. I went up to her to ask her what's going on and she said that there's nothing she could do as she made the mistake. This is horrendous service. read more

My husband went to this barbershop because he had heard good reviews. Jesse cut his hair, let's just say he made him look like a pineapple. He never likes doing an edge up and before asking him he began doing it messing up the natural line he always had. He also didn't like the fact that he turned his chair around not letting him look at himself when cutting his hair. He showed him a picture of how he wanted his hair cut and it does not even come close to it. His beard line is really crooked as well didn't really know how to use the blade. Really disappointed at least with Jesse can't really review the other barbers. But we really don't recommend him at all he talked way to much in which it took an hour long hair cut that should of taken only 40min max. read more
