Regardless of each stone's "meaning," it's best to find the right one that "speaks" to you and everyone that works there is really aware and accommodating of that. Shopping here is a pleasure and an experience all in itself. The crystals at Made in Earth are beautiful and REAL. I love this store and the people who work here. they go above and beyound to make sure you have the ring that you want- I wanted a certain stone and they totally redid the ring so it could fit my pinkie. I'm getting a man's style ring made from scratch because I wanted the stone to fit on my other pinkie. The employees are genuinley happy when you're happy with your purchase. also, they have a "manifest" program, where you just pay a percentage deposit, and then you can pay it off on any schedule you need. I had a wonderful experience at Made In Earth. I had been looking for an emerald ring for awhile and I was so happy to find Made In Earth when I was visiting Venice. Shaina was a great help and let me try on all the different types of rings I was interested in. I had to get the ring resized and then shipped to me. The resizing took longer than I expected but once I let Shaina know I was on a deadline because I was moving she made a special trip to the jewelers to get my ring shipped out quickly. About four years ago, I stumbled upon Made In Earth during a serendipitous stroll along Abbot Kinney. I didn't expect to buy anything that day, but I was absolutely mesmerized by the design, quality and craftsmanship of all of the one-of-a-kind pieces in the store (and I'm a sucker for crystals). The staff was kind and helpful and made the shopping experience special. I ended up purchasing a gorgeous rainbow moonstone ring - and it's truly been my "traveler's stone" on this crazy journey we call life. I've worn this ring pretty much every day since I purchased it and was absolutely heartbroken when it recently bent during a seesaw accident (you heard that right) at the playground with my daughter and her friends. I brought it into Made in Earth with no expectations - just hopeful they may be able to mend the ring. The woman working at the store called the owner and designer Bunny - who lives in Australia - right away and asked if he could fix it. She explained the situation and he not only offered to fix it, but he was willing to do it free of charge! I received my ring back in less than a week, and it's as beautiful as ever. It was like a kid walking into the candy shop. I was lost. Gorgeous pieces of colorful gemstones beautifully placed behind glass windows. I spent 2.5 hours trying rings and earrings and if I had enough money, I would buy the whole store. I love everything I saw and tried. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I love going to this shop in Abbot Kinney. They have a wide variety of creative designs and the best part is that the crystals and stones used in their jewelry have subtle energetic purposes to help with the physical and emotional aspects of your being. It would be amazing if more people realized the power of crystals! I started getting into it last year and got my first quartz laser wand pendant here. The customer service here is top notch! I had a chain that I brought in today that needed minor repair and the lady working there today gladly repaired it in a jiffy! Shaina and Sam made our experience super awesome. Came in just sort of browsing thinking maybe my girlfriend and I would find our perfect small engagement rings or at least get an idea of what we wanted. When I asked Sam what rainbow moonstone rings they had and described what I was looking for, she came out with a tray of beautiful rings and it was an easy choice right then and there. My girlfriend had them pull a few different things and ended up finding the perfect amethyst ring! The girls pulled so much for us and constantly were asking what we really wanted and were looking for. They found us both perfect rings! They have a $35 resizing fee but I think that's totally fair for the quality of jewelry you're getting. They also are seriously following covid protocol temping people in at the door and requiring hand sanitizer as well as sanitizing and polishing all the jewelry after try on. read more

I called their store to inquire about purchasing one...but learned that everything was one-of-a-kind. Laney was happy to take pictures of the rings they had that were similar to the one I wanted. They were incredibly patient and supportive. I tried on many bracelets. I was sold a piece by the owner and even though he remembers the purchase, a few days later he just refuses to accept a return quoting the store's policy -- one that he created. The jewelry is top of the line and the selection of crystals in unparalleled. I bought a beautiful necklace made of kyanite and was not as careful as I should have been with it.
