My daughter had a designer at crate and barrel select furniture for her home. When the furniture…read morearrived, there were problems with the scale of the pieces, in particular two side tables that were too tall for the two new sofas. When we took them back to the store with the intention of returning them and replacing them with different selections from the same store, the store refused to accept the return because it was not in its original shipping box. We were told that the in box requirement was in the signed contract. I asked to see a copy of that policy and that contract and they could not provide either one because they doesn't exist. So first the designer chose pieces that did not actually work together, and when we tried to exchange them, they wouldn't accept the return of the pieces, even though we'd only had them for a week. And to add insult to injury all of the pieces, several thousand dollars worth, immediately went on sale a week after they were purchased and they would not make a price adjustment and they certainly never mentioned that in a few days all of these pieces were going to be significantly reduced. This store makes returns and exchanges of furniture so difficult that I will absolutely not buy furniture there and I certainly wouldn't use their designers.

I had been eyeing one of their modular couches online for a while but never checked it out in…read moreperson because the stores in my area were all so far away from my home. When we happened to be traveling to Kansas City, we stumbled upon Arhaus and pulled over right away. We must have spent hours in the store trying to figure out which couch was the perfect fit for us, sitting on every cushion at every possible angle! It must have been funny to others watching us but it's such a big purchase, we just have to be sure! We kept going back to the original modular couch and the associate noticed this as well. The star associate who helped us, Elizabeth, was so friendly and honest with which couch selections would meet our criteria of being compatible with having small kids and pets in the home. She explained in detail the special warranty option and how to clean each fabric we were interested in. She sent us home with print outs and samples of fabrics we liked and we felt really good about the impromptu trip to this furniture store. The store is gorgeous and it was a lot of fun dreaming up which pieces would be great in our space! Parking lot available.

I purchased a table and 4 chairs. The original 4 chairs…read morewere marked "in stock"and coming from the warehouse so I had to wait a month to pick them up, but didn't have to pay shipping fees. When I went back to the same store to purchase 2 additional chairs a few months later, the chairs were advertised as "in stock", however, they were not available for store pick-up and would only ship directly to my house for $299. Everything that is advertised "in stock" or "on the floor" can NOT be picked up and can only ship for a very expensive shipping fee. I moved into a new home and have several rooms to fully decorate but will not shop at Arhaus due to all "in stock" and "floor items" have absorbent shipping charges, that can't be avoided. Shame on them for false advertising!

SUPERB service and furniture - Restoration Hardware & Katy Cox…read more A few years ago, I made what can only be described as a character-building mistake: I bought custom leather furniture from another store. I won't name names -- and for legal, moral, and karmic reasons let's just say the name rhymes with something like "Crazy Boi Schmurniture Falleries." Our experience felt like such a spectacular train wreck that it left me emotionally scarred and deeply suspicious of the words "custom" and "lead time." Enter Restoration Hardware -- which, maddeningly, I had discovered years earlier and somehow didn't buy from. Allow me to say this loudly for the people in the back: I should have started with RH. From the very first conversation, Katy Cox was an absolute rock star. We explained our prior furniture trauma, and politely asked that she keep this in mind as we ordered a Chesterfield sofa and two chairs. Katy listened, reassured us, and guided us through the process with calm confidence, professionalism, and genuine care. Complicating matters (because of course we did), we were also in the middle of having a hardwood floor installed, which meant timing was critical. Katy and RH coordinated everything flawlessly. The furniture arrived earlier than expected, yet somehow exactly when the floor had finished curing -- a minor logistical miracle. And the furniture itself? Stunning. Even better than we imagined. The leather, the scale, the craftsmanship -- it has real presence. This is furniture that makes you stop mid-stride, nod approvingly, and think, yes... this was the right decision. Delivery was handled exactly as high-end furniture should be, with true white-glove service and zero stress. No drama. No excuses. No surprises. Just competence -- which, frankly, feels luxurious these days. Katy Cox did a phenomenal job, Restoration Hardware delivered at every level, and our faith in buying fine furniture has been fully restored (pun absolutely intended). We are completely over the moon! Five stars, zero drama, and a strong desire to send this review back in time to my former self.

I truly love RH and the brick and mortar store is just as beautiful as the catalogs. You are…read moregreeted when you walk in and given any direction you need then left to explore without being pushed. However staff is everyone quietly waiting if you need them. Prices are very easy to find on items and I love how the display rooms are easy to understand and replicate. I do wish their prices were the same across the board rather than member and no member. Although I will say if you buy one big ticket item it is more than worth paying that member price. I do feel it turns some people off though.
