I must have called 5 other shops looking for someone who could do what she wanted and none had the skill set to do it until I spoke with Foxi. Not only did Foxi know exactly what she wanted, but she made every bit of it edible and even made a 3rd dinosaur egg for them to take home to put into the freezer for their 1st anniversary.... which I "Mother of the bride" cradled and protected that thing like a baby on the very long flights back home and it made it home all in one piece and didn't even get crushed or even melt! Check out the cake in the pictures! Dinosaur eggs in a Dino egg nest like in the movie Jurassic Park (the 1st movie) Beautifully done, and so yummy!

However upon entering this hidden gem, I found my one true love--CINNAMON ROLL GALORE and now I'm a changed woman. The store itself is quite hidden behind Big 5 on Broadway. Nothing could stop me from finding the gooey cinnamon dessert so I went on a quest to find Erlei's and upon arrival I was invited into a sweet quaint cafe with lovely decor and sweet beverages. A sweet woman greeted me and patiently waited while I felt quite indecisive...but the glint of a glazed cinnamon roll caught my eye--and I made my choice...the choice that CHANGED MY LIFE The first bite sent me straight to heaven....and I don't think I'll see cinnamon rolls the same ever again... The spread of pastries and treats included cupcakes, quiche, scones, an abundance of various muffins, and the most epic cinnamon roll I had been dying for.

Parking is street parking only, so it can get tricky during busier times. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a very large food menu, and they also have bagels, pastries, coffee, espresso drinks, , smoothies, beer, and wine. I was in at lunchtime, so I decided to get an "everything bagel" with their sun-dried tomatoes spread. I asked for light spread, and that's what I got. The bagel was amazing! Very tender. I could smell the garlic on the bagel and taste it as well. It was excellent. The spread was both savory and rich, but not overly rich. I loved it. I also had a white mocha. It was a good quality, coffee, and the drink was rich and sweet, but not overly so. I was talking with my sister later, and she told me that their sandwiches and salads are also very good. I decided to come back for dinner. I had the salami, baguette, and one of their lemon squares for dinner. The Salami Baguette had Salami, Jack Cheese, Spinach, Tomatoes, Dijon, and Pesto (Basil, Olive Oil, Garlic, Walnuts, Parmesan, and Salt) That sandwich was amazing! Baguette was soft and delicious, they were generous with the salami, and it had the right amount of cheese. The veggies give it a nice "pop" of freshness, the pesto was rich, but not overly so, and the Dijon and just a tiny bit of a "zip" to it. All of the ingredients played together very well. The lemon square, the crust was flaky, the lemon was creamy, but not overly sweet, and it had just the right amount of powdered sugar on the top. Everything I had there today was fantastic. The prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back to try more items. My only regret is waiting so long before I finally came in. Thanks!
