It wandered all over the road and this was after replacing nearly everything in the front end. I sourced a lot of the parts myself (the good stuff only) and when I had time, I put them in, but it started getting closer to the move date and decided to let a local shop install some of the parts; like the new steering box and drag link. But I still had a lot of play in the steering wheel. The play was predictable, but who wants to drive 1500 miles constantly moving the steering wheel. Needless to say, the second day I arrived, I went googling for someone other than a dealer to look at my truck. Someone that specialized in Diesel RAMs. There were a couple out there, but I liked what Kevin had to say on his website. He seemed upfront with a no BS attitude. I called him up and asked to make an appointment. The date comes and I receive a phone call from Kevin asking when I was heading out. He wanted to be there to take my truck for a drive himself. I arrived, knocked on the door, let my self in, waited a few, then went looking and found Kevin out in the shop talking with his guys. He made his introduction and we hopped in my truck for a test drive. We made polite conversation that was interrupted by a sudden jerk of the wheel or slamming on the brakes, or when Kevin noticed something odd with my truck. Down the highway, over train tracks, through a field... He truly showed his passion and knowledge of these trucks. When we returned to the shop, he had his guys look over the truck. Especially, the areas he noticed when he took it for a test drive. We sat in his office making polite conversation when his guys came in and found the issues. I was amazed. They were quick with the diagnostics. Found the root cause of the steering issue, it was the steering shaft. I was both angered and elated. Angered that the shop I had install the new steering gear never noticed the issue and said "Well I have no idea what it is. Everything has been replaced"; and elated that there was finally a fix for my truck. His guys also noticed that the bearing on my split driveshaft was shot and they wouldn't let me leave with it like that... and he had an aluminum drive shaft in the shop that would fit my truck. I said replace it. Now comes the time to exchange money. I was in shock when he gave me the total. Talk about a fair deal. I thought for sure that it was going to cost me twice what it did. We have an older vehicle (1999 Buick) and they never have any problems fixing it up. It can take a few days for Dan and Paul to get to your vehicle when they have several vehicles, but that's has never been an issue for us. Dan's wife, sorry but I forget her name at the moment, works in the office and is just an absolute delight to talk too. All around just some decent people doing a great job. Here's what I think of TDP, Jan. 30, 2024 was the invoice date for finally having my 05' CTS-V…read moreTremac T-56 manual transmission supposedly rebuilt by TDP for the first time since I bought the car off the lot in 05', my car has 225,985 miles on the original transmission and engine. Out of warranty (they have a one year warranty) and less than 8,000 miles on the tranny, with normal driving (I don't even do burnouts, let alone racing) my transmission had to be completely rebuilt, again! The shop who did the new rebuild is one of the most reputable transmission shops in Orange County CA, very well known and specializing in Corvette transmissions (wish I went to them in the first place). They walked me through all the parts that had to be replaced and showed me what was done before based on TDP's invoice, they didn't bad mouth or disparage TDP in any way shape or form, they let me come to my own conclusion by presenting the parts and procedure they had to go through to make my transmission correct. TDP invoiced me $3,494.45 for the rebuild (+ $400.00 for shipping it back and forth to CA.), my new rebuild invoice is $4,591.06. Now, I know exactly what is inside my new transmission. I now have a transmission that has been rebuilt twice, in less than 2 years and cost me $8,085.51 + $400.00 in shipping. $8485.51 in total, This was a very expensive lesson to learn and my point is to ALWAY'S be sure you're getting what you pay for. He did work on my Camry for an oil leak I had. After doing some research at home, I brought him the parts, and he went above and beyond to recommend me other parts to replace since he was going to be changing the seals around my timing chain and oil pump. He called me to inform me that the timing belt I got from advance auto parts was defective, he met me at the auto parts store to get a refund and we both went to O'Reilys so he could inspect the belt to ensure it was a good one. He finished the job in less than a 24 hour turnaround and did a great job cleaning up the engine. He made the leak stop and I got my car back ready for another 75,000 miles.He offered to change my oil for the same price he quoted me which was nice, but I still had 2,000 miles for my next interval so I turned down his kind offer. The price was reasonable and the level of service was great. I will be back.

They called me on the 5th day saying my truck was finished and was going to be $1700. I show up, pay in full, go outside to start the truck and it's got the check engine light on and still a rough idle. They are then apologetic and assure me "they will figure it out". I have to leave the truck and wait for them to try and diagnose it again. The truck sits outside the shop for 5 days untouched, until I call and ask when they can start it and pull it back into the bay. One of the guys said he would start it the next day (Friday) the truck sits outside the shop untouched again until the following Thursday. I went up there that morning to get an accurate timeframe. They told me it would be at the least 3 more weeks. I then have my truck towed from the property. I tried to reach Hunter, (the owner) multiple times with zero luck or return phone calls. Every time it's ether "he's with a customer" "he's on break" "they're out for lunch" he's never available apparently. I had a snap claims representative ask if they would consider reimbursing me a portion of the total. With the answer of no. So long story short, just do yourself a favor and skip this shop. Take your truck somewhere reputable. I probably wouldn't even be writing this review if they would have done the right thing and help me out financially and reimburse me a portion.

Within 2 or 3 hours of the truck being delivered to them we had a diagnosis and a quote on the truck. We already had an idea of what the problem was and how much it would cost to fix the truck. They were spot on, on this we added a front end alignment. Within a week our truck was ready to be picked up. On no part of the shop there was a problem with the alignment, these guys were honest about what is was going to take to fix the problem and told us that the front end was aligned however the other issue was not immediately needed and could be fixed down the road. I am extremely pleased with this has they could have just told us that it needed to be fixed immediately. For a couple of young guys they have it together. Their customer service and professionalism was outstanding. *** They honor our military whether current or veteran with a discount***. Guys keep up the good work and I promise we will be back for all of our needs.
