I visited this Macy's in the Cool Springs Galleria and they didn't serve me like they served other customers. I was in a hoodie a-la Trayvon Martin and the white clerk wouldn't serve me. I have contacted Macy's executive leadership as well as executive customer service who both refuse to explain what happened that day including Reagan Tinsley of their Ohio corporate office. I won't shop there again and Will Skaggs has a lot to answer for. They would not explain to me why I was misdirected - they only stated I should have been waited on and was not. Shitty store and horrible customer service. last two times dealing with them, one picking up an order took FOREVER and then doing a return on an online item with receipt, couldn't make it any more difficult. I ordered from sunglass hut online within Macys website. I was told I could return to sunglass hut then tried returning to sunglass hut then I was told to return to macys store for a refund then told by the macys store to return online. I am never ordering from them again. Everything takes forever and customer service is a run around. read more

Me and my wife were trying to do a deal a little while back and by the end of the day we never got the deal. We were supposed to get 40$ Macy's cash but the website wouldn't process our transaction. It kept timing out which is clearly Macy's website being the problem. We called the "help line" but to only talk to a foreign jerk who knew nothing about customer service nor his own job. With twenty minutes left to claim our money and process the transaction he sits on hold with us for the full twenty minutes. We are still the whole time trying to submit our transaction while on the phone. Right after the time expires our transaction processes and he then says I'm sorry the time to claim the prize shows to be over and there is nothing I can do. There is nothing you can do? After being lifetime Macy's customers I think this customer service has spoken and the true customer service showed it's true colors. read more

We have liked Macy's for good variety and a spirit of generosity. However the local jewelry department in Macy's at the Cool Springs Galleria have really disappointed us. My husband bought a ring for me online at the Macy's website. This ring didn't really mach me and we decided to return. We expected that Macy's would honor their stated policy of allowing us to return the ring to our local store. I had to wait a long time and talk to three employees about returning the ring, then the third employee said to me that we have to wait for manager because they carry in the store only size 7+ ring. So then I spent more time to wait for the manager. I felt like I was wasting my life for this simple process. In the end the manager came and said that I can't return in the Macy's because they don't carry small sizes of rings. To me it means THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. It is first time I experienced rejection for a return in Macy's. And I believe that a professional and thoughtful manager, knowing about my disappointing waiting time, could figure out how to help a customer in this situation. Very poor management in the local jewelry department of Macy's, unfortunately. read more
