This is my first-time doing taxes with anyone. I usually do it on my own but due to my own circumstances, I thought it would be very difficult to do it on my own this year. Setting up an appointment was very easy: they gave me the option to do it in-person or through virtual (which just meant a phone-call). They let me change my appointment to another time that was more convenient for me. I ended up being paired with Victoria who was extremely kind to me. When I read the reviews, a lot of people were raving about how they help each other out which actually ended up happening with my unique situation which was properly and legally handled. I called a little before my appointment and Ivan gave me a quick run-down on how I can approach my situation which was later conveyed to Victoria. There is a great team dynamic in this company and while I usually never write reviews, the service from Victoria (and the entire team) was so amazing I had to write one. It was great that I had a refund, but it was more important that Victoria taught me the steps and meaning of each line and what I should expect. She made it very easy for me to understand and she inputted my information (I had a lot of papers) VERY quickly. I went to Mac Tax Solutions this week and was so impressed by the quality of work they do. I went back a second time because I had questions about my Social Security and Pension together. Victoria used the correct form for Seniors. My other tax man did not use that. Which I think saved me more money. Ivan is really so knowledgeable and explained my taxes in detail.
