Xpress Carwash - New update price

I found this place and have used it several times. I do not use the brushes to wash, but instead…read morethe power washer where I utilize the soap, the rinse, and wax. I like the credit card feature, and the machines that collect your money are new. I had one issue with coins - where it did not take all the coins I put in but I have not followed up with them. There have also been a couple of occasions where the soap spray is out of soap which is disappointing - and I should get money back for that defect. But other than that - it's clean and quiet here, plus 24 hours too. Haven't compared prices to other self wash places yet. Had the soap been good all the time and not lose any $ then this place would be 4 to 5 stars. But it's not prevalent.

I was raised on the old idiom, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth," so I supposed I shouldn't…read moreask too many questions. Questions like, "How can this awesome touchless carwash be this cheap?" I confess, I like a bargain and Xpress Carwash (formerly known as "County Line Car Wash") on McNeil between Parmer and 183 is now my new favorite quick wash spot. Unbelievably, if you just need a quick drive-thru rinse, they have a $5 special going right now. (March 2025) Is it the most thorough clean you can get? Probably not, but if you're in a hurry and just wanna get the dust-storm remnants cleared away, this option can't be beat. Otherwise, choose from one of the other pricing from yester-year options of $6 (Deluxe), $8 (Premium), and $10 (Ultimate) at the drive-up kiosk for the touchless automatic wash, tap your phone to pay, and be in & out in just a few minutes. If you like to get a more customized & thorough wash, you can also use one of the DIY bays where you get out & spray or scrub every nook & cranny. I didn't try this option, so I'm not sure about those prices. With either option, vacuum service is included. The vacuums with fine suction are in back of the property, where you'll also find an impressive selection of food trucks (Deccan Spice Kitchen, Indian Street Byte, El Sabor del Taco, Don Pepito Latin Food) and some nice, shaded patio seating. If the Google business listing posts are to be believed, this location also offers full hand wash & detailing services which can be arranged by calling 512-986-0241.

I've lived in Fredericksburg for over 40 years and this was one of the most unprofessional customer…read moreinteractions I've ever had with a local business. After I paid, the owner/manager ran out to my car demanding to know why I was getting a wash with a storm coming. I answered honestly: I had used car wax on my headlights and wanted to rinse it off. He immediately escalated, claiming it would "destroy" his machines and could ruin other customers' cars for days. I calmly offered a simple solution--let me wipe the headlights myself before going through. Instead, he launched into a long, angry, rambling lecture. I asked for a refund. He said yes, abruptly walked into the building, and left me standing outside while an employee tried to justify the situation. I eventually went inside and again confirmed I would be refunded. As of tonight, no refund has been issued. After reading other reviews, it's clear this kind of behavior from the owner is not an isolated incident. Multiple customers describe similar rude, confrontational treatment. We left and went to Smitty's Car Wash on 16 near H-E-B--cheaper, newer, better equipment, better vacuums, and genuinely friendly staff. Night-and-day difference. If you expect basic professionalism and respect, I recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Early hot weather spurts are back so it was time to give the car a wash. I wanted to give another…read morechance at Splash Car Wash since it's touchless. My car wasn't as dirty as the last time but had flecks of black stuff on the body, possibly from a tar-filled truck or area in probably Hwy 1604 where there's always construction. Thankfully I have a paint coating film to protect the paint. I was able to choose the Best Wash this time which goes thru an undercarriage rinse, multiple passes of wash phases(2 passes of High pH and 1 Pass with low pH to break up the road oils), a Rain Aid, Wax and Ceramic pass to help deter rain and dirt from sticking onto the paint. The last was a 85-second blow-dryer time that's shown in a countdown so you can slowly drive your car thru til the time is over. There was a truck and car behind me who had to wait since mine was lengthy at around ~6 min, 32 seconds from start to finish as I used a timer on my phone. I proceeded to fold my mirrors in and drove slowly while the "GO" green light sign was lit until it shows "STOP" and you leave your car in Park. After a few passes of washing, foam, rinsing and drying, I proceeded to the covered drying area. The blower was pretty effective as I didn't have that much to wipe down on the top, windows nor body of the car. I wiped down mostly the bottom, inside door panels, trunk & spoiler and front grill. Also, wiped down my rims but another customer was using the Self-Serve Wash Bay and I could feel some of the misty spray coming my way so I left. I finished at home on the rims and with a tire cleaner for a shiny finish. Glad I was able to wash my car and feel it was a complete job this time. Will test it when it's much dirtier after a heavy rain if there's mud and dirt from the road but for now am very pleased!

Very good for when my vehicle needs a deep cleaning. Also I like that it is brushlessread more
