You did this and apparently knew that it was not going to be a "fix" without said adapter and you charged me...?!!!! So I mull it over a wee bit and call them back and get another staff member. I ask if I could use the $26 as a credit to a key board that they had for sale for $89? Once I explained the symptoms (battery may or may not always charge, etc.) he suggested I do a hardware reset (hold the reset button for 65 seconds using a straightened paper clip). I've been solely on Mac since then, but there just isn't a Mac-CADD Application that comes close to the value and ease of use of Visual CADD. Gareld was able to revive my Windows machine in one day. This was a non-trivial task. After first running a complete and comprehensive diagnostic, he discovered the ancient (spinning) hard drive was failing. I also needed to upgrade the available RAM to be able to host Windows 11. In the end, I received a completely functional Windows machine, with an upgraded Processor, an SSD, maxed-out RAM and a Windows 11 License - for pennies on the dollar of what a replacement machine would cost. Gareld is simply the best - great communications of how the 'surgery' progressed, and superlative work actually making this thing work. Highly recommended for keeping your digital life running.

Evan really went above and beyond and sent me a link to a screen that would fit my laptop (I needed to order one online to have NWCA install it for me) . When it arrived I brought it to the shop and was given a ~3 day timeframe on repair which seemed reasonable. Three hours later I got a call from Evan that it was repaired and ready to be picked up. I will absolutely come here for anything I need in the future and strongly recommend anyone reading this review should as well. The repair cost was also reasonable - $50 less than the "big box" repair company quoted me. I want to convey again that I was extremely impressed with this place and Evan especially.
