The staff is extremely friendly; from the Cape Air employees to TSA and even the pilots, everyone is there to help each other out and make the experience flow as smoothly as possible. I was able to arrive 40 minutes before my flight and spent 38 minutes sitting there- that's how quickly I was able to check in and complete the TAA screening.

I was early for my flight and so I stopped in and had a cold Mich Ultra and an order of cheese quesadillas. ($21.44). This airport is clean. WiFi is free. There's comfortable chairs interspersed along the perimeter in the ticketing area. This place is also really quiet - the result of being a small airport. No long lines here (that I saw). This is a nice airport with a lot of positives. One may have to adjust their travel plans to fit the days that a particular carrier is scheduled to fly. But if you can be flexible, this is a nice airport to fly out.

This was exciting as many many years ago the only options were connections in Chicago and that can always be hit or miss because of weather. There are two terminals and you can tell they've added new chairs that were super comfy. As another reviewer said, the security check made me laugh as I agree they must be so bored all day. I have the new "real ID" and the ladies working the check in spot got some leaflet out to verify my states drivers license and then were discussing it while shining some weird light on it. This airport still offers free parking which is unheard of these days. No need for the cell phone waiting area, you can actually park and walk inside to greet your loved ones as they arrive to SPI. :-)

Free parking and very convenient for anyone needing to get to Springfield IL or head out (the TSA can use some improvement as they go through all of your baggage in detail at times such as your 311 bags - and snacks such as almonds peanuts etc in zip lock bags - partially cause they probably don't have much to do or are being nosey). I landed here from Ohare and it was a seamless process from landing to inside my rental car (enterprise ) in less than 8 mins! Amazing. The car was even pulled up curbside for me!!!

This place sucks. The agents suck, the weather sucks. The set up sucks. The airplanes suck…read more The agents are really not just unpleasant and ambivelant, they are downright hostile and grumpy. And on this trip I was just picking up my suitcase who got to fly while I road the Peoria Charter Coach across middle Illinois. The last time I tried to fly out of there the agent flat out lied to me and I ended up stuck over night in Atlanta. It was the same agent I got my luggage from this trip. Prior to being stuck in Atlanta, I was stuck at this place for 7 hours. Not because I missed my flight, but because if a drop of water drips someplace in Peoria, they refuse to fly. The linchpin of every trip I've taken there. If you can avoid trying flying into or out of Peoria on American Eagle. Please do. You'll be happier in so many ways.
