However, their dedicated customer base means that they sell out of everything basically by lunch time, and the really popular items within just an hour or two. Their bagels are fantastic, and i love how many different and varied flavours they offer. I'm a sucker for a good savoury bagel, and they have so many great options: Asiago cheese, cheddar and jalapeño, old bay, "low country," the list goes on! They also have savoury scones which are fantastic. Their sweet offerings, both in bagels and pastries, shouldn't be missed either. The service is on par with the excellent food, and you can really tell that they love their job and their customers. There's always a smile behind the counter, even at the crazy busiest time, and the owners are often outside greeting people and getting to know their customers. The store gets the job done, but it's not as cozy as you might expect or want for the best bakery in Aiken. If they could make it a warmer feel with big plush armchairs I'm not sure I'd ever leave.

I ordered the hashbrowns with jalapeños, American cheese, sausage, and two over easy eggs on top. The jalapeños were seeded so you had a little heat with a lot of flavor. The restraunt was busy but it only took about 10 minutes for our food to get to the table. The hashbrowns were crisp on the outside and tender inside. The eggs were cooked perfectly. They have a great space with plenty of seating, both indoors and out. They have TVs throughout the brewery so watching a game there is probably pretty easy. My only piece of constructive criticism is that when I got my 3 growlers filled at the end of my visit (because they have good beer and I wanted to drink more later), my growlers were neither sealed nor labeled. For those that don't know, breweries usually label the growlers with beer your ordered and seal it so it doesn't leak. I've only ever run into this once before, it was in Amarillo, TX. I didn't make a fuss about it but it didn't come off as the most professional or polished in that respect. I'd really like to see them reexamine this part of their operation and possibly consider branded labels for the growlers (so that you know what you're drinking) and branded caps (their dog logo would fit perfectly and be a good way to rep the brand). Overall, I had a great visit. But I'll inquire before getting my growlers filled again.

But there is a mainstay I always visit when driving down Laurens Street. As I've stated in my previous review, yes it's almost a mirror menu of the Augusta location. So makes this one different? I still stand by the aroma factor. They roast their beans (you did know that right?) just a couple of doors down from the Cafe and oh is it heavenly. And just as every community has their own vibe/feel, so do the businesses that reside there. The outdoor seating here is right on the sidewalk (with more tucked in close to the building).
