Went in for a quote to replace my muffler and tail pipe. The gentleman behind the desk was certainly busy as all get out, but still took me in line. Didn't have to wait for too long, he had my truck up and looked at it shortly after I got there. He SHOWED me what he was looking at, and even provided me with multiple options, didn't talk down to me like an idiot, and in fact eased my worries with another issue I was having with the truck and suggested a fix for it. Once working on my truck had started, I personally walked down to the nearby Subway to grab a bite, and no sooner did I make it back was he pulling my truck out of his garage. Came here for all my exhaust problems for the last four years had them completely replace from the back of the manifold to the back of the vehicle's on all my cars and was always quoted 200 to 250. When I called today for the same exact things I wanted replaced got quoted for 800 to $900. That is an absurd and unrealistic jump on pricing. Just lost my business I'll go somewhere else, just got quoted 300 somewhere else. Stupid as hell for someone who's disabled and on fixed income and can't afford those gouging prices. read more

I highly recommend Pat at Mach 1 Muffler! I was going to replace my muffler and tail pipe with a Gibson bolt on unit. My uncle recommended Pat so I swung in for a free estimate. The estimate and final cost was lower than the bolt on kit and I didn't have to install it! I was in and out in an hour. Wow, top notch service! Went shopping around to see if I could get my after market exhaust adjusted, but the moment they heard my exhaust was made of titanium it was no, no, no. I went to two places and they wouldn't even fabricate a bracket. Tried Mach 1 and the guy knew what he was doing! With three pieces of material and some ingenuity he tightened up my exhaust so it wouldn't vibrate aginst one of my heat shields. Very friendly with some can do attitude!!! read more

Pat did an excellent job replacing the muffler and tailpipe on my 93 Chevy pickup. He's friendly, easy to work with and a superior craftsman when it comes to exhaust work. He's honest and always offers cost effective alternatives. If you want to do a high end custom system he can do that as well. Mach I is a really nice alternative to some of the rip-off shops in town I've had the misfortune to deal with. This is a great muffler shop and I recommend Pat to all my friends with no hesitation. I've compared off the shelf alternatives that I could install myself and Pat's prices are so competitive that it isn't worth messing with a self-install.
