My personal experience of Boat N RV was one of the worst customer experiences of my life, I could…read morenot recommend this company to anyone. The slick, inept and unprofessional sales people are one thing, but the customer service and the follow up are completely nonexistent. I bought a very expensive RV and when we got to our orientation as we sat and talked through all the features, I was looking around and happened to look up to the ceiling and that's when I noticed a great big hole in the roof. A hole that a few weeks early Jamie (Office Manager of the year's son) punched whilst showing off how sturdy the roofs are - well not quite that sturdy as he left a great bloody hole in the RV. So as we sat our orientation (My Birthday) they were showing us the RV and promised to deliver it the same day but...when I looked up I noticed a hole - a big hole. So I offered to let them fix/patch the hole in a brand new $30,000 RV and said if you throw in a 30 inch tv and stand we will be fine with that - considering a new roof would be over $2000 to fix I really thought I was being more than reasonable. Well let's cut a long story short - I offered a $250 fix and 3 weeks later heard nothing, no tv, no stand, no phone call. When I called Jamie he blamed the office assistant and said he would get one mailed out ASAP. A week later - nothing - so I called back (this is now 4 weeks later) and Jamie said Walmart was out of stock, what? Of 30 inch tv's? No they weren't - they just hadn't done anything. So I said okay I want a new ceiling!! And so the story goes - I never head anything back on that either. So I recanted that offer and demanded the unit be collected and the ceiling be replaced - and of course no unit collected, having chased for 3 weeks- they finally collected the unit - 2 weeks later I called to get an update and Jamie seemed totally obliviously to the situation. At that point I demanded a new unit. Well again nothing was ever done, no communication - no feedback. At this point I got a corporate person's name and was told he would be in the office so I called to try and speak to him but of course Jamie intercepted the call and I was told 'he was with family and would call me straight back' - after 30 mins I called again and was told 'he's left for the day" - shady treatment !!!!!! I Never did get to speak to anyone from Corporate despite leaving over 7 phone messages ... So having spoken to Jamie I found out he hadn't ordered a new unit, he hadn't ordered a new ceiling, he had not got a new tv or stand - wow !! So, effectively HE HAD DONE NOTHING - EXCEPT MAKE EXCUSES. My ordeal lasted 6 months and I finally got my money back - I looked at units in July and bought the unit back in August - had it sat at my house for nearly 2 months - then the dealership had it for nearly 2 months and zero was done, every chance the dealership had to make this right - they just could not be bothered. I of course had been paying on a RV I never used and never had for most of the time. Finally having threatened to take this to corporate and to court they took back the camper and I got my money back nearly 6 months later.... this took over 30 phone calls, texts, 3 official letters and hours and hours of frustration. Jamie seemingly is the ONLY manager at Boat and RV and every efforts to speak to anyone else got ignored! At one point I had 8 contact names and called every single one and no one ever called back despite this being 100% their fault. Good products but bad service. I would never personally buy from Boat and RV again. I read the reviews and because I knew someone that worked there I thought I might have a better experience but that was definitely not the case.

I would be remiss, if I did not mention the two gals at the front office...both, more than helpful...they we're pleasant each time I required their assistance ! Let's talk food and ones favorite libation for a moment...next door to the front office us a fine restaurant called Yanni's ll...whoa...dock your boat at the marina, as it gives you a reason to stop by and have a great meal while sitting outside (or inside) with a view of all coming and goings of those of us that have our boats docked at the marina...plus a wonderful view of the Great Hudson River! Now, I ask you- is there any reason that you should not park yourself and your boat at Coeymans Landing Marina? Check out their website...great pictures of the restaurant and dockage. I'll see you all in April...the start of fishing for the Stripers! I planning on landing one in the 30-40 lb. Area...see you all then. We chose Coeymans Landing Marina to haul, dismantle, and load the boat for shipping to South Dakota at the end of the trip. We chose Coeymans only because a lot of other online reviews were good and they used to be a big Mainship dealer in the 1990's. We pulled up on a windy Saturday morning. Five people helped us in -- a combination of marina employees and just friendly slipholders. Owners Hedy and Carl were very, very friendly and helpful. We went over the dismantling with Eric the service yard foreman for about half an hour, and then left to fly back to SD -- and they took it from there. Eric was fantastic. Without my even asking, he texted us photos of the work literally every few hours. The props had gotten damaged on the trip and Eric took care of getting them shipped out, reconditioned and rebalanced by a service in Newburgh, and then delivered back to Coeymans just in time to get loaded on the 18-wheeler. They did a fantastic job on prepping the boat for shipping, replaced the aft air conditioning unit because the old one was shot, and loaded that boat so well that everything arrived in South Dakota in good shape after a 1,500 mile road trip -- and all for a very reasonable price. We couldn't be happier with Coeymans, we got lucky.

I haven't given a bad review in a very Long time. "If you don't have anything good to say, say…read morenothing". Unfortunately I do take responsibility for this problem, I had a choice not to patronize this business. The short version, they had my boat ( small 14.5' Lund / 25 hp Mariner) for spring prep. Properly winterized late last fall and stored out of the weather. When I dropped it off "Mike" said, we can start on it this afternoon. I said no rush you have several weeks to get the job done properly because I am going up to the Canadian boarder for our annual fishing trip. If it needs any thing make it proper and give me a call. On the third week Mike called saying they weren't able to get to the boat! Stories, dawg died, dawg ate my cmptr , etc. not interested in stories. Promised the boat would be proper. (Btw I was out the area on work for five weeks) When I came back home I was going to pick it up, but again "Mike said it would be done Saturday, I said no leftovers must be proper. When I picked up the boat the technician said it was perfect. Just spring maintenance. Several hundred dollars, ok as long as it proper. Now I was in a jamb, no time for a "sea trial". Hope for the best. Oh well. Needless to say, engine never started, dead trolling motor battery, battery charger smoked. Unbelievable, you can't make this up. Biggest thieves and liars I have seen in 40 years. I only went there out of sentimental consideration. We grew up around the corner from them and my Pop took us there as kids growing up a long time ago. All Mike had to do was give me the truth and move the boat to someone who would do what was agreed too. There was plenty of time. It's not about the money, I paid and was willing to pay whatever it turned out to be. My Bad. Beware, not honest, not a decent establishment. Stay Away. The worst. I had to post this. Hopefully this will not happen to anyone else. Regards, Jerry G
