An overall honest review of a good contractor. Scroll to…read morethe bottom for a short summary. Also scroll down for my edits regarding the entire situation. I'll start with the negatives and then progress into the few positives. Expect your prices to change. And this only means increase. Initially quoted at a certain price the price was continually increasing which is something I expect but when it changes to include additional services costing upwards of 250-1,000 dollars you probably want to get a second opinion. Unfortunately it was a situation where 80% of the job was complete but not the last 20%. My flooring was quoted without quarter round and then I decided I would get quarter round. Jose (the owner) then lets me know that based on the flooring I will not need quarter round anymore but can instead pay the same amount we agreed upon to apply redguard (fills cracks). I obviously agree to this. I then go back and look back at our agreement and notice a discrepancy in payment and instead of the price coming down he increases the cost by an additional 177 based on increased square footage and labor. Then after the flooring is finished I'm told it actually needs quarter round which I was initially convinced not to do based on prior discussions. Do consider this is also after my painters have finished all their painting so I cannot ask them to paint the quarter round and save myself some money. Out of a strong desire to trust in the best of mankind I decide to ask a quote regarding the cost of quarter round installation with color matching to my floor and a quote to have it painted on white. Initially the cost of quarter round color match was going to be 13 dollars a piece (12-14) pieces required and 500 dollars a day for labor. This is then reported as a mistake and is actually 30 dollars a piece. I then ask the cost for white painted and it costed 550+150 for painting labor and I supply the paint. Overall cost? An additional $1000+. Also, he didn't install a block between my bedroom and my master bathroom. I asked him to come fix it as I couldn't afford his prices. He didn't respond to me for 2 days until I asked him regarding prices on quarter round. Onto the positives. He responds relatively quickly and comes on time 90% of the time. I did arrive late a few times so you can slap me on the hand for that. He's also relatively friendly. Do consider I am not the type to leave bad reviews Edit; Shortly after posting this review Jose reached back out to me. Albeit a little defensive I can tell it is a man who understands business and his reputation. I will admit that I did have painters around who most likely made his job more difficult than it should have been. It was unfair of me to only discuss pricing changes as the overall flooring job was performed well and efficiently. He offered to completely reimburse me for my cost to go to another contractor and have quarter round installed as it was a misunderstanding on our behalf. His overall cost was also lower than I was quoted by any other contractor. I believe he is the kind of man you should talk things through very clearly with regards to pricing and the overall job otherwise you may be finding yourself in some possibly unhappy positions. He is the kind of man you want to discuss things with by phone and not text message as there is likely to be some misunderstandings. After rereading our messages back and forth he was constantly looking for solutions to problems that were occurring. Be sure to understand that if you are upset with any work, contact him and he will do his best to sort you out. Overall his response to the situation is why I am making this edit. If I had been more direct with him regarding my feelings towards the situation I believe the overall project would've been great! Summary: A considerate hard working man. Highly willing to do any means to provide a 5-star service. Quality affordable work despite some larger bumps in the road.

A few months ago we were looking to remove the popcorn from our ceilings. I called Pacific Drywall…read more/ Home 360 to ask them for help, and started to talk to Sheri. It turned out that the timing was not right for the removal of the ceiling. As we were about to hang up, I was told that this company also does a lot of other remodeling work, including door replacements. So, I decided to continue the conversation with Sheri about replacing all our interior doors, as well as the front door of hour home. And glad I was that I didn't hang up that phone to quickly. I told Sherie that my wife and I picked a couple of door models, one for exterior door, and another model, from another catalogue, for all the interior doors. She asked me to send her over the information, arranged for their foreman, Rob, to come by to take a look at our project, and promised to give me a quote within a few days after his visit. At the same time, I decided to get a second quote from one of the two major home improvement stores in our area, for comparison. The big box store rep came first. Right from the beginning, he tried to change my wife's mind about the door models and manufacturers. After he saw that we were not happy with the fact that he was steering us in a different direction, the guy ended up taking the measurements, writing down the information, and leaving quickly with a promise for a very good, heavily discounted quote. A day later, Rod from Pacific Drywall / Home 360 came by. Really friendly, very knowledgeable, he listened to us, looked at what we wanted to buy/install, gave us some ideas on how to better organize the door replacement project, so we could fit it into our larger remodeling that were going to have done in our home. While Rob didn't make any promises, he gave us a warm feeling that we could trust him, his crew and the company that he worked for. A week or so after both visits, we got the quotes back from both Pacific Drywall / Home 360, as well as from the big box home improvement store in the area. There was a big, wide gap between the two numbers, with a much, much higher quote coming in from the big box store. Our one exterior door, plus 6 interior doors, one double interior door, and one garage/interior door were becoming super expensive on the quote from the guy who treated our choices as their were bad. So much for a low quote! In contrast, Sheri, from Pacific Drywall / Home 360 sent us a quote which was right in the ball park that we were looking for. A very decent number, that included labor, and the delivery of the doors in two separate stages, in order to accomodate our other work done in the house. It was a no brainer to pick Sheri's quote and agree to get the work done with her colleagues. Rod gaves us the confidence that we could trust him and his crew, and Sheri backed him up with a great price. Little we knew, both Sheri and I, that it would take quite a lot of work and hoops, for her, to get our doors from the manufacturers. Over the course of two months, she worked close with both companies to get the right doors, the right color, and for the exterior door, the right lock and look that we wanted. Sheri stayed on top of the various roadblocks that had to deal with, and kept me all the time informed and up-to-date on the new developments. The delivery and installation of the doors was made in two parts: the exterior door and the garage/interior doors were installed first, with the rest of the interior doors done three weeks later, in order to accomodate our schedule. When the doors arrived, I was a little surprised, and a bit worried not seeing Rod. However, right from the get going, I was put at ease by the professionalism of Bobbi, who did most of the work in both stages. I cannot speak highly enough of how careful the installation was done, and on how well Bobbi managed to get each door properly installed. Our home presented a challenge for the front door installation, as the frame around the area was a bit out of alignment (old house :):)) Bobbi took his time, and ensured that everything would be properly aligned, measured and adjusted more than I could even count, until he was happy with his work. Then, he took his time and did some magic work on re-creating the texture around the frame of the entry door to a degree that it looked very much alike with the surrounding wall area. You could see that his attention to detail, and quest for perfection were out of the ordinary. The attached photos are a testament of the many reasons that made us be happy with the outcome of Bobbi's work. It took a while to write this long review, but I am really glad that I did it, as a small token of appreciation for the help that we got from Sheri, Bobbi and Rod at Pacific Drywall / Home 360. If you are looking at remodeling projects and are seeking outstanding help, don't hesitate to call this company. You will be glad you did. I know I was. Thank you, Sheri, Bobbi and Rob!

Strongly Do Not Recommend I hired Carlos the owner of…read moreCentral Valley Marble, Tile & Stone due to his alleged 19 years of experience to remodel two small bathrooms for my daughter. It started out good I would come into town to check his work each week. The next few weeks he was not there when I arrived, but it looked like there had been some progress. Then I began to receive complaints about his work from the homeowners (HOS). He does not pay attention to detail as I witnessed. First, the HOS asked him to replace tile on the baseboard because it was uneven, and he got upset about it. Second, he neglected to grout much of the tile and again was upset the HOS asked him to correct his mistakes. (I have pictures). Third, I get a call and pictures that he refused to correct the shower faucet he installed which was protruding from the base, he said he thought it looked okay. This is unbelievable when you see the pictures. I asked him if this is the best he could do, and he replied "yes". At this point I was certain Carlos was not honest about his years of experience and was going to get someone else to finish his work. After speaking to the HOS, we decided it was unfair to pay him then hire someone to do fix his work. I told him I would call a plumber to install the faucet and deduct it from his pay. He argued with me that I was siding with the HOS. Then he decided he could fix it. Fourth, I received a picture that the bathtub over flow (chrome) was a different color than the faucet (brush nickel). He did not dispute this and made the necessary corrections. Fifth, when I walked through the bathrooms, I notice his caulking were awful/amateurish (see pictures). When the HOS moved in and began to use the facilities, there was another overflow that was missing, the caulking was awful and grout was missing you can see when standing. Of course, I contacted Carlos using the phone number we have always communicated with without a response. I have pictures of everything described in this review. Oh, did I forget one of his guys damaged a brand-new entry door. He tried to minimize the damage by saying the HOS were picky but agreed to pay for the repair. I found him to be disrespectful to the HOS. I told him if I had any idea he was this kind of person I never would have hired him. Needless to say. I am looking for a qualified contractor to fix his mess. In the strongest terms I DO NOT recommend Carlos.
