It seems like Best Chimney Services may have just zoomed in on small cracks to make it seem like a worse problem. The only useful thing they did was give us a recommendation for where to get help with our gas fireplace. Wouldn't come back here for any chimney service.

I have been very fortunate to have worked with Rich since 2003 and so happy to hear his voice every time I call with a service question or to schedule a service call. More recently I have had the extreme pleasure of having Mason be the lead on installing a stainless steel chimney liner for me and conduct a fire test for work recently completed. Even though there was a challenge with the size of the liner, due to my chimney being narrower in the middle, Mason was able to easily troubleshoot, find the correct size and have the installation completed shortly after the initial visit. Mason returned today to conduct a fire test to ensure everything was in working order and supplied the necessary paperwork for my property management company at our condo association to prove that my fireplace is in working order and safe to use. Mason's professionalism, leadership, critical thinking skills, positive/can-do attitude and easygoing manner were most impressive. I want to also commend the trainees that I met on both visits, Ron, Julio and Leo. All were models of customer service and professionalism and very happy to be with Best Chimney. It was obvious they were very pleased to be training under Mason and had a high level of respect for him. They did this to me are were snarky and rude about it when I suggested that I, in fact, did make an appointment. Call somebody else to clean your chimney. Anybody else. The answer from these folk below highlights their lack of customer concern. The actual fact is that I was snapped at on the phone by 2 different people all *telling* me that I made and appointment. This is farcical because when they finished my initial service I was fully of a mind NOT to call them back or use their service again. The idea that I made an appointment with them is preposterous. I'm will drop a similar review on Google and related sites so folks know. If the people who were snippy with me on the phone want to send a couple of apologies that would be the proper course of action. Otherwise, avoid these folks like a chimney fire.

Only a few days later, Scott (the owner) and his crew installed a high-quality dual-lined stainless steel chimney liner that perfectly addressed the draft problem by improving airflow and boosting overall safety and efficiency. The work was clean, professional, and completed quickly - they left everything spotless, no mess at all. Our burner now draws beautifully and burns efficiently. We're thrilled with the results and the great customer service. As stated earlier, Scott, the owner, even came out and worked on our project. Their claim that the chimney needed Thousands $$$$ of dollars of cleaning /repair work has since proved to be UNTRUE. They refused to answer my phone call , and I had to go in person to get any result. They would not take responsibility . When I asked to see the supposed interior fiber optic video/ pictures , they claimed somehow they had been erased. Even when I said I was considering a New Gas Insert , on my phone message , they never called me back. I find this a tough Industry: you have no way of seeing what's actually going on in your Fireplace and Chimney. They have the tools and expertise , and you're totally dependent on their Ethical approach . It's like being held ransom , trying to keep your Family safe . These guys are Not the ones to Trust.

I called reception again and she squeezed me in again despite having almost no schedule room. Same two guys came by, explained everything in detail, extremely helpful, and planned to meet again next year to finish work.
