This place is in a great spot for foot traffic because of all the other places next to it. When you walk in there are tons of chocolates, cakes, macarons;etc. I took a look around the whole shop just to see what they offer and I have to say the options seemed almost limitless. I did like that they had gifting chocolates already out. After walking around, I ended up just buying the Kanafeh & Pistachio Taco which was a whopping $14.00 ! I do have to say for the size of the taco, I don't believe it's worth that much. Don't get me wrong it was very delicious and can appreciate how much of the mixture they tried to put in it, but the chocolate ended up being too much for me. Now to talk about the service, this is where things were a little awkward since the 2 employees were having a conversation the female was loudly talking about how she was pissed that things had to be done a certain way and complaining about doing stickers or something to the male, when I tell you I heard the entire conversation.... I heard the entire thing. Just my 2 cents, if you're going to complain about anyone that has to do with the business maybe be a little quieter with customers around or wait until they leave.

It is my indulgence, my happy place, my I do not care if someone is watching. In January, I will do the Daniel fast, so I am being totally calorie free in December. It is really hard to describe how delicious this gelato tastes. I chose the black cherry swirl...again! The black cherry flavor is so fragrant without being eye-squinting sweet. The gelato is dense yet smooth. You will be totally satisfied even with the smaller sized cups. Every time I visit, I threatened to try the coffee and then at the end of the day, I woos out. Paciugo also has Dubai chocolates, cookies and coffee. Service is always excellent. The server always takes time to provide you samples, so you are exactly sure of what you want to purchase. When you are being served, it feels like you are the only one in the room. You may purchase pints of gelato to go. They also provide catering This gelato comes closet to the gelato I tasted in Italy. Yum to the nth degree!!!

I forgot the exact flavors I got, but I remember trying pistachio, Dubai chocolate, and one other flavor. They were all really good. Since I was hungry, I also grabbed a chocolate croissant, which was delicious as well. I forgot to ask them to heat it up, but it was still very enjoyable. On the side, I tried their ice cream, and it was honestly some of the best ice cream I've had in San Antonio. I believe I got pistachio, taro, and coffee on the bottom, and they were all great. At the end, I also got Turkish coffee just out of curiosity. It's not in the picture because I purchased it after I finished my dessert. The coffee was very strong, with a unique flavor that made it fun to try. One small suggestion: the coffee was very very hot and nearly overflowed the small cup, so it might be helpful to add a "cup sleeve", use a slightly bigger cup, or offer an option to make it a bit cooler (adding an ice or two). Overall, this is definitely a cool place to hang out, especially if you enjoy sweets, coffee, and trying different flavors. Highly recommended and will be back for more!
