This place has a cool vibe to it. The menu is extensive. Almost too much. Surprising, whatever you order is good. All three sandwiches we got were excellent. Service was good. Really no complaints. The sandwiches could feed you for two meals truthfully. The Titanic I think is my favorite.

We went to this location on Monday for the Hedenberg special ordered it without onions and 45 mins later it showed up with onions on part of it and you could tell it was on the other half as well but taken off. They offered to remake it but after seeing the bathroom with dried feces all over the toilet seat we got out of there as quick as possible will never be back to macados after this experience

I ordered food through DoorDash. I was informed that it took over an hour because half of my order wasn't even prepared. The sandwich that I ordered, the , which has breaded chicken on it, was completely burnt. It was in edible. I was offered a $5 refund for my $14 inedible sandwich.

The sandwich was made perfectly. The ham, bacon and melted muenster on sour dough bread is something I never had eaten and I'm glad I got a chance to eat it. The service was great as well props to the young lady as she was perfect at her job.

A very juicy and delicious burger, quite large--I could barely finish it. Definitely recommend it. The boneless wings were also tasty. The place has a great atmosphere, with lots of sports and pop culture memorabilia in the decor. It's a lively spot with plenty of customers. I would definitely come back here.

Went in at 12:30 pm not really that busy finally finished lunch at 1:45 When you go in place is dark and dismal Good if you want to hide. I had a burger wrapped in lettuce, presentation was good definitely Not cooked rare it was so over cooked I didn't eat it. Fresh fruit was good. Waitress was ok .. very slow I never did get my drink she was definitely not attentive we had to get her attention cal her back (didn't get a chance to tell her about the burger) We also had an appetizer it was a cheesy dip with salsa in it. We ran out of chips half way through no we didn't get more chips we would have gotten more but couldn't find the waitress.

This place has about a 50/50 success rate at MAKING SANDWICHES. They must have ran out of food while they were making this. ALWAYS check your order before driving away. This is 25% of a take-out order that I paid full price for. 0/10 Staff wouldn't wait on me either. GARBAGE

See photo for my review. I have not had such poor service, along with poor attitudes by 3 employees in quite a while. Just by asking for cutlery, since I wasn't able to cut my meat in order to eat.

This food was very very good. The waiter was kinda rude, but it's ok. The decorations were very vintage but it was kind of dirty.

Once we got over the fact that this joint is located inside a gas station convenience store, we placed our order and stood in line with people paying for their gasoline so we could pay for our food and a couple bottles of water. About 10 minutes later, they called our name; we grabbed our food from the counter and sat down at one of the five tables. We popped open our foam clamshells and dug into fluffy pancakes while "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" blared on the radio. This place is about half the cost of a more traditional restaurant, has half the ambiance, but this was one of the best breakfasts I have eaten in a long time. Definitely recommend it if you are passing through.

You tell them what you want, give your name, and they'll give you a receipt to pay up front. There are about five or six tables if you want to eat there. Everything's made fresh, so it comes out hot. Right now, the breakfast special is $7.99 and you get three eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns or seasoned potatoes, and toast. The people who work there are really nice and friendly.

Bulls & Bones: Burgers, BBQ & Brewpub has a lot of "B" alliteration going on. I felt like a steak when I visited, so I went for it. I got the USDA Angus Sirloin, which comes with two sides (I chose steamed broccoli and fries). The steak and sides were good and simple, which was just what I was feeling like that night. I visited Bull & Bones with a group of people, and we ordered a few appetizers to share, so I got to taste some things on the menu. First of all, we got complimentary potato chips for the table. Sweet! We also ordered the fried pickles (not my thing, but people were going off on them). Also, we got two orders of the wings: one was boneless wings with buffalo sauce, and the other was regular bone-in wings with Caroline Gold sauce. My favorite were the wings with Carolina Gold sauce, because of the flavor. They were so savory and slightly sweet. For dessert, we got the warm cookie with two scoops of ice cream (yum!) and the blueberry lemon cake, which didn't look like much but tasted amazing. A little bit of dessert goes a long way, and I think you could get away with sharing a dessert, for sure. The ambiance at Bulls & Bones is casual. It's a sit-down restaurant, but it's not fancy at all.

He seemed to genuinely care about us and our orders; extremely accommodating and polite. The place was rather nice inside too for a brewpub! As we sat down our table was given a small sample of their house made potato chips, they were pretty good, would've been even better in some ranch! With that, the main food: I got a Chicken Caesar wrap and added bacon, honestly it was pretty good. The chicken had good flavor, it was very filling, and adding the bacon stepped it up a notch. For the cons, I wish it would've had more Caesar dressing, and the portion for the price it felt a little smaller than I was expecting. Overall a hearty wrap! I also got the 4 cheese Mac for my side. I was so excited to try it because I've heard people rave about it, but it sort of fell flat for me. If you really like a super creamy mac n cheese this is for you! I just wish there would've been a bit more flavor, some depth, for a premium side I just don't think this did it for me. Overall, great service, cute place right outside the big mall area, but I think the food is a little more average than I was hoping for. If there was an option I'd say it lands more at a 3.5 than a 3. Then again, I only got the wrap and mac, and I know they are more known for the bbq and burgers at the moment, so give those a fair chance!

After hearing about The Farmhouse Restaurant located in Christiansburg, Virginia, and seeing a…read morephoto of it, I was intrigued by its appearance and intererested in finding out more information about it. So I did my research and found out that it opened its doors in 1963 in a 19th-century autentic farmhouse which once belonged to the Ridinger family. It has had several owners and managers throughout its history. Roger Neel and Neal Keesee, owners of Billy's and Cornbeef and Co. in Roanoke, purchased the restaurant and reopened it in 2016. Kevin Murphy was the general manager in 1996. Devin Whittaker is currently listed as the General Manager. The restaurant has been a long-standing establishment in the New River Valley, known for its beef dishes. Currently its menu has been expanded to include a nice selection of seafood items as well. Additions to the original house include several banquet rooms, a bar, an outdoor dining area that can be used year round, and a caboose annex. After being awarded the Triad Yelper of the Year 2024 Award at the Yelpies Award Ceremony last year, an event that honored the highest-performing Yelp Elites, I decided that this year, as an All-Star Yelp Elite, I not only wanted to be the first to discover new restaurants and bring them to the attention of the public, but also to uncover those found in hidden paths that for one reason or another have not reached the public in its totality. And The Farm House in Christiansburg, Virginia, is the perfect example. So one day I made a reservation through Open Table and set out enthusiastically in my new car to go explore what it was all about. After driving in the highway through a nasty rain and thunder storm, the rain finally stopped as I arrived there and was parking in their nice size parking lot. The decor inside was rustic yet very cozy, with many booths inside small spaces, and a couple of very elegant dining rooms nicely set-up and decorated with one of a kind framed Virginia Tech Football memorabilia. It also contained a beautiful award winning wine cellar and exclusive bourbon room. The restaurant was divided into two sides with alleyways where the individual enclosed booths were located and each alleyway had a street name so one could find their way back if they had to leave to use the restroom. The left side was decorated with antique farm items and old photographs and the right side with beautiful colorful paintings by Rochthilde. The caboose annex is located on that side. When I arrived a friendly young lady hostess greeted and welcomed me and after confirming my reservation took me to my booth which was located in Hokie Hwy. You can see the location in my photo of their map. Soon after, my server greeted me and took my order. I started off with a Mojito Mocktail to drink. Their Crispy Fried Calamari as appetizer. Followed by a Caesar Salad. And as the main entrée I had their famous Prime Rib medium rare with the Grilled Shrimp enhancement and the two sides being a Loaded Baked Potato and a Special Corn which was the side of the day. The meal also included these special rolls with butter, which clearly pointed out the exquisite nature of the cuisine of this magnificent restaurant. At this time, I took a brief escape to go visit the bar area and there I happened to have met the Restaurant Manager who gave me a warm welcome and thanked me for having traveled all this way for the pleasure of dining at his restaurant. I found my way back and all the food was amazingly delicious. I invite you to take a look at my photographs accompanying this review. The Prime Rib one of the best I've ever had. Comparable only to Billy's in Downtown Roanoke. My server came by at the appropriate times to check on me and did an excellent job. The Restaurant Manager also came by a couple of times to see if I was enjoying my dinner and if all was to my satisfaction. It was nice to learn that he lived down in Cave Spring, my neck of the woods, and where one of my best and favorite restaurants is located, The OTH Chophouse. For the Grand Finale of what had been an amazing cuisine and an extraordinary dining experience, I had a slice of their Peanut Butter Pie for dessert. It too was amazing. To conclude I highly recommend this restaurant for those special occasions when you want to enjoy a fine dining experience in a very unique and historic restaurant, in a comfortable ambiance, with an amazing culinary masterpieces, and excellent service.

It doesn't matter that customers have made reservations months in advance. It doesn't matter that when the owner calls to confirm your reservations and you request indoor seating. What matters is they want you to eat there despite what you've requested. Our group sat outside on the semi covered outdoor porch. Nearby other customers were VERY unhappy that they had been given outdoor seating despite previous requests to sit indoors. Most of these customers left. We stayed because we wanted a decent meal and we wanted to celebrate. Service was spotty. It took nearly 10 minutes for a server to come outside and offer to take our drink orders or even pour us water. Yes, we were parched while sitting outdoors in 55 degree windy weather. The owner of the restaurant walked past us several times to count the vacant outdoor seats. She never acknowledged us and only looked at us after we called out to her. She was RUDE to say the least. Our server was friendly and apologetic, not sure why he didn't come out to acknowledge our group of 7 diners. The food: yes, other yelpers had concluded that the bread seemed very similar to Mrs. Schubert roll. If you know them you know. The other shocking revelation was when they called to confirm our reservation, they informed us that they were only serving the prix fixed meal of $69. Most of us ordered the "hand cut 8 oz filet", served with over cooked green beans. The salads(most of us got Caesar), was not a hand tossed dressing, not quite sure what the dressing was made of and the cheese seemed like a bagged shredded parm. We were so cold that we ordered our desserts(included) to go. Eating in the warmth of our cozy hotel dining lobby was our goal. The desserts were not anything special. The key lime pie was a disaster(crumbled and squishy), the rest of them not worth noting. Finally worth noting is their "wine", a semi inexpensive bottle of wine was out of stock so instead of coming to let us know, they brought out a cheaper local Virginia wine. Disappointing. Stay away if you are in doubt.
