First time trying out this restaurant and we received our food through delivery. We ordered a combo meal: one large pizza, six chicken wings, and four garlic knots. The pizza is very thin, and foldable. The cheese is a nice gooey mess and the sauce is light. Although I found the top of the crust to be a little too dark, the texture of the dough is very enjoyable. The chicken wings were well cooked and very tasty! The garlic knots have Parmesan cheese on them and are chewy in the inside. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed this food as we hadn't heard anything about it prior to ordering. We will definitely order from them again and may go in person sometime as their menu has so many other option then pizza and wings! read more

I had a really good first time experience with Mac Pizza & Wings. The young woman who answered the phone was especially friendly and helpful. As a first time test (in my typical style), I ordered a large pizza with 1/2 sausage as well as a dozen wings in two different ways. One with Buffalo sauce and the others plain. The young woman asked me if I wanted them extra crispy to which I replied Yes. I was concerned that they might be dry as they offer oven roasted (baked) wings here. They were excellent. I really liked the pizza too. The tomato sauce was just right. Not too spicy and not too sweet. It reminded me a lot of the pizza I got in South Jersey back in the day. I will definitely be back to try some of the other things they offer. Don't know if this place is Italian or not but MAC seems like Irish. First entering was a table with a container of salad that the workers must have been eating from, plates with partially eaten portions of lettuce strewn around the one of the two tables with uneaten salad. Not an appetizing look. Ordered the $12 antipasto, definitely not worth it. Comes with packaged Italian Ken's dressing . Very small amount, of greens for what they charge. Looked like a child threw it together. Supreme pizza $20.75, sausage is sliced as thin as a playing card (if you can find it) so pretty much no taste. Mostly tasted like the mushrooms and peppers, which were fresh. Not crispy very doughy. Probably won't revisit. Trying to cover too many menu choices. Our first delivery from this newbie to the area. Had no idea what to expect. The results exceeded expectations, and came quickly, using their own delivery service (not Grubhub, etc...) We ordered a large pie, half meatball with light tomato sauce. We got a pie with a little more sauce than we had hoped for, but thinish crust, good flavor with a sprinkling of oregano on the pie. The meatballs were small marble sized and were tasty despite their tiny nature. Overall good, and we'll see if repeatable. We also order baked wings in mild hot sauce, and while on the smaller side, they were delicious. We relocated from Chicago and were looking for a good pizzeria. We happened upon Mac Pizza and decided to give it a try. The two gentlemen at the counter were super friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a garlic knot sample while we waited. They were the best garlic knots I've ever had. As for our pizza, it was loaded with toppings. The overall taste of the pizza was excellent. The outer edges of the crust were nice and crispy, bubbled and a little burnt, the way we like it. The only downside was the crust under the ingredients was soggy. This review is only for the wings. We ordered 18 Buffalo wings on door dash this past weekend to use up a gift card. Arrived fairly promptly. They were nice sized wings- bigger than what we've been getting elsewhere lately. These are not breaded and not fried but oven roasted. Upon arriving, I let them know I had to cancel at a previous pizza place due to them losing electricity and that time was important as it is Father's day. Our neighbors raved about Mac pizza so we tried it. Ordered the meat lovers. This is the same pizza we get from other pizza places so it was good to compare apples to apples (so to speak). We were not impressed. Unlike the other meat lovers from other places, this one was covered in cheese. We lifted the cheese to find the meat and is was sparse. I've lived in Bradenton for over 22 years and have tried many pizza spots around here. From Sarasota, st Pete, tampa. this one opened up not too long ago and I've got to say I'm wow'd. Went here for the first time based on reviews/recommendation on Nextdoor. First, called this morning at 10:15a (11/7/21), and no one answered the phone after three attempts. Note, they open at 10:00a. Someone finally called us back, and we placed our order for Sunday Game Day Special. Asked to have our pizza par-baked. The wings, although man-made balls, were actually pretty good, with little coating. The package also came with garlic bread sticks, but no marsala sauce was provided as advertised. Further, our pizza was fully baked. As previous posters have mentioned, it was merely a Papa John's, Pizza Hut, etc. style pizza, nothing special. Won't be going back, don't recommend.
