First time trying out this restaurant and we received our food through delivery. We ordered a combo meal: one large pizza, six chicken wings, and four garlic knots. The pizza is very thin, and foldable. The cheese is a nice gooey mess and the sauce is light. Although I found the top of the crust to be a little too dark, the texture of the dough is very enjoyable. The chicken wings were well cooked and very tasty! The garlic knots have Parmesan cheese on them and are chewy in the inside. Overall I was pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed this food as we hadn't heard anything about it prior to ordering. We will definitely order from them again and may go in person sometime as their menu has so many other option then pizza and wings! read more

I had a really good first time experience with Mac Pizza & Wings. The young woman who answered the phone was especially friendly and helpful. As a first time test (in my typical style), I ordered a large pizza with 1/2 sausage as well as a dozen wings in two different ways. One with Buffalo sauce and the others plain. The young woman asked me if I wanted them extra crispy to which I replied Yes. I was concerned that they might be dry as they offer oven roasted (baked) wings here. They were excellent. I really liked the pizza too. The tomato sauce was just right. Not too spicy and not too sweet. It reminded me a lot of the pizza I got in South Jersey back in the day. I will definitely be back to try some of the other things they offer. And a shout out to the really nice young woman who answered the phone and was helping clean up for the night when I arrived (it was near closing time). Keep up the Great work. read more

Mac Pizza & Wings - Large with 1/2 sausage. Really good. - Pizza Near Me - Bradenton, Florida

Our first delivery from this newbie to the area. Had no idea what to expect. The results exceeded expectations, and came quickly, using their own delivery service (not Grubhub, etc...) We ordered a large pie, half meatball with light tomato sauce. We got a pie with a little more sauce than we had hoped for, but thinish crust, good flavor with a sprinkling of oregano on the pie. The meatballs were small marble sized and were tasty despite their tiny nature. Overall good, and we'll see if repeatable. We also order baked wings in mild hot sauce, and while on the smaller side, they were delicious. We also got some boneless Buffalo wings which came in hot (a good hot) with some blue cheese on the side. Happy to be fed, we will definitely order again. Welcome to the hood! read more

Don't know if this place is Italian or not but MAC seems like Irish. First entering was a table with a container of salad that the workers must have been eating from, plates with partially eaten portions of lettuce strewn around the one of the two tables with uneaten salad. Not an appetizing look. Ordered the $12 antipasto, definitely not worth it. Comes with packaged Italian Ken's dressing . Very small amount, of greens for what they charge. Looked like a child threw it together. Supreme pizza $20.75, sausage is sliced as thin as a playing card (if you can find it) so pretty much no taste. Mostly tasted like the mushrooms and peppers, which were fresh. Not crispy very doughy. Probably won't revisit. Trying to cover too many menu choices. They should concentrate on less but done better. read more

It was middle faire, nothing to write home about. I had pizza and another dish, but can't even remember what. I guess it wasn't that memorable. I have no reason to go back. read more

New York Style pizzeria under the ownership of a native born Sicilian! Authentically delicious. The pizza is perfectly proportioned--crisp crust with underlying doughy softness. Smooth tomato sauce. Fresh ingredients. Simply top rate. The cannolis are nothing to sneeze at, either. Beautifully fried with a rich, creamy center. A genuine taste of Italy. Make Mac a stop during your next visit to Bradenton! read more

We are from out of town and chose to eat here randomly on our way out to the beach. Originally we weren't too sure because the branding doesn't reflect how high quality the food is. We are so glad we went anyways because this was the best pizza we've ever had. We got the grandma pizza, knots, and garlic Parmesan wings. They were all incredible! The owner was very kind and helpful as well. We will definitely be making a trip back here. read more

We relocated from Chicago and were looking for a good pizzeria. We happened upon Mac Pizza and decided to give it a try. The two gentlemen at the counter were super friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a garlic knot sample while we waited. They were the best garlic knots I've ever had. As for our pizza, it was loaded with toppings. The overall taste of the pizza was excellent. The outer edges of the crust were nice and crispy, bubbled and a little burnt, the way we like it. The only downside was the crust under the ingredients was soggy. It could have been because there were so many toppings though. They had some good dessert offerings as well. The cherry Italian ice was delicious. We will definitely be customers read more

Extremely overpriced frozen food. Pizza was mediocre at best. Ordered mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders. Both seemed to be recently microwaved, poor quality frozen box food. Had the anti pasto salad which was 80 percent lettuce and tasteless. 65 dollars for a table full of bland. Threw out half of it. read more

This review is only for the wings. We ordered 18 Buffalo wings on door dash this past weekend to use up a gift card. Arrived fairly promptly. They were nice sized wings- bigger than what we've been getting elsewhere lately. These are not breaded and not fried but oven roasted. We got them extra crispy but had sauce put on so they really weren't crispy on arrival but they were meaty and had good flavor. Would order again with sauce on the side. read more

We ordered fries , chicken fingers , and a calzone. Unfortunately I would not recommend any of those things . The fries tasted like they had freezer burn. The chicken was so burnt . The calzone had no flavor, and was incredibly soggy. You can get the same quality from sbarro in the mall. Only difference is this place is double the price . Due to quality and price I won't not waste your money . read more

Went here for the first time based on reviews/recommendation on Nextdoor. First, called this morning at 10:15a (11/7/21), and no one answered the phone after three attempts. Note, they open at 10:00a. Someone finally called us back, and we placed our order for Sunday Game Day Special. Asked to have our pizza par-baked. The wings, although man-made balls, were actually pretty good, with little coating. The package also came with garlic bread sticks, but no marsala sauce was provided as advertised. Further, our pizza was fully baked. As previous posters have mentioned, it was merely a Papa John's, Pizza Hut, etc. style pizza, nothing special. Won't be going back, don't recommend. We'll stick to Rico's close to us, and a quality pizza we know we love. read more

Upon arriving, I let them know I had to cancel at a previous pizza place due to them losing electricity and that time was important as it is Father's day. They assured me 15 minutes and My pizza would be done. 15 comes and nothing. 20 still nothing. 25 and I asked whats going on. They say 6 minutes and then 10 minutes goes by.. I ask them how much longer they say 3 minutes and around 7 ish minutes I tell them to cancel my order if its not done. They immediately rushed it out. I reminded them its Father's day and it's been way more than 15 minutes and they made the excuse that they got slammed after taking my order.. I responded with they should have alerted me to the change. This is my first time here. I was hoping for at least good pizza.. NOPE. The philly was extremely salty. The backbone of the pizza was limp. My salad had fat free dressing. Seriously just overall not a good experience. I will never eat there again. There is too many pizza places that are fantastic. read more

Our neighbors raved about Mac pizza so we tried it. Ordered the meat lovers. This is the same pizza we get from other pizza places so it was good to compare apples to apples (so to speak). We were not impressed. Unlike the other meat lovers from other places, this one was covered in cheese. We lifted the cheese to find the meat and is was sparse. We won't be back because the other place has a definitely better meat lovers pizza. read more

I'm a pizza snob from Chicago and have to say the pizza and sandwiches at MAC are excellent. I've ordered a couple of different pizzas and all were great, but I especially enjoyed the Brooklyn style pizza. The crust is thick, crispy, and covered first with fresh mozzarella, then a very good marinara sauce. The Brooklyn is finished off with a generous amount of parmigiano and fresh basil leaves. What a special combination. My wife absolutely loves MAC's Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The bun is high quality, crisp without being hard, and loaded with a very generous portion of chopped steak and onions topped with melted cheese. So good! The meatball parmigiano sandwich was made with high quality ingredients, very ample, and delicious. I'm so happy to have found an authentic Italian pizza and sub shop in Lakewood Ranch. Buon appetito! read more
