Wonderful selection of cat and dog products!! They have a nice section of cat items and lots of different brands of food. I wouldn't come here for prescription cat foods (like hills or royal canin), but for any grain free or high protein or raw foods this place is great. They have wide variety of cat freeze dried raw treats and some play toys for cats too. Lots of fun dog toys and pet beds also. Since I don't have a dog I haven't examined their dog offerings as much but for the cat stuff, Love it every time I go.

My very anxious, traumatized dog got groomed here a number of times. Each time, she would be there…read morefor up to six hours. I learned from a past PetSmart groomer that the dogs spend most of their times in cages, especially the scared ones. Whenever my dog got anxious or reactive, she was put in a cage. This is completely unfair because she is anxious- that doesn't mean she shouldn't get the same care as "typical" dogs. My dog would leave exhausted and seemingly depressed the rest of the day after I picked her up. Lastly, for all the appointments she had there, they were charging me with a "special needs care fee" without telling me or allowing me to see the receipt. This was an extra $15 or $20 that I did not know about. The groomer (a non-licensed veterinary professional) told me my dog needs stronger medication if she's going to keep coming there. My dog now does mobile grooming where she is never in a cage, is treated normally and leaves in a good mood. I do not recommend this grooming place at all. If you love your dog, find someplace else.

These insults typically take place in the fish department, surrounded by chock-full aquariums of fish for sale. My encounter was in Englewood, now I hear this manager is in Boulder. Dear Petco: please consider either selling fish like a normal pet store or else get out of the fish business altogether.
