I visited this neighborhood wellness clinic in Schertz to learn more about the services they offer…read more During that visit, I was told that blood work would be needed to get a clearer picture of how I could be helped. I specifically asked about pricing and was told the blood work would cost $25. Based on that information, I agreed and scheduled the appointment for the following day. When I returned, I completed the intake paperwork and had my blood drawn without any mention of a different price. Only when I went to check out was I told that I owed $150. I was then informed that the higher cost was because I was not using insurance. While I understand that insurance status affects pricing, this was never disclosed ahead of time, and I was never asked whether I planned to use insurance or pay cash. Had I been told the correct price upfront, I would have waited until next month when my new insurance plan begins and done the blood work then. When I questioned the discrepancy, the receptionist was cold and detached, taking a very matter-of-fact tone rather than showing any effort to understand my perspective or acknowledge the miscommunication. The main issue here is transparency and patient care. I left feeling like just another number, with little concern for how the situation affected me or whether I chose to return. Clear communication upfront would have completely avoided this experience.

They have you call when you arrive before coming in to limit how many patients are in the building at any given time. Also everything seems to be kept clean.
