I've gotten yearly checkups for almost a decade now, since I want to continue to be in good health and catch things early if something changes. However, it didn't seem to make sense why I would go and I left feeling confused about my appointment but I suppose with a sense of all was well with me. So that's good! Dr. Architect has a spa and offers services that seem to help people look and feel younger. That is wonderful and interesting! But that's not what I was coming for. Just a regular 'ole doctor's appointment to make sure I'm not dying was my goal. Haha! Overall, Dr. Karen Architect is a personable medical professional who spends a good amount of time with you.

When I first started with Dr Architect I felt that she really cared about me and my health. But as time went on I realized that it was more about her weight loss and skin care products then my health. I also didn't like the fact that she would send me to get an xray or CT scan. And her receptionist was supposed to call me to set up an appointment for a specialist but she would never call me. This happened on several occasions and when I complained to Dr Architect she put the blame on me. She would tell me that I should call her receptionist and ask her to send me to a specialist. I became a number to Dr Architect and not a patient.

I'm saying it because it's the BEST fitness program out there and is the best decision that I've made! Here's a little background: I first found out about this program from a close friend. I noticed that she was looking better than ever and asked what her secret was. Clean eating, a positive mindset, and the BEST fitness trainer was her response. My curiosity was peaked so I decided to check this place out for myself. I met the owner/ trainer, Nate Dilworth, who offered me a trial session to see if the program was right for me. Little did I know how much Nate was about to change my life. I began my fitness journey in May 2011 and I'm still going strong. About the program: This program isn't for everyone. When I say that, I really mean it. The trial session wasn't just to see if the program was right for me, it was also to see if I was right for the program. The main things that the owner looks at when accepting new clients are: 1.) A positive mindset and positive attitude. 2.) The true desire to do what it takes to get fit. 3.) A no excuses, only solutions way of thinking. If you can make it through the trial session without giving up, being negative, or coming up with excuse after excuse for not wanting to do the exercises, then you might make the cut. (Yes, they will modify exercises if need be due to a prior injury/surgery.) The owner is very selective, he wants all of his clients to be successful and have a positive workout environment. This program is not a quick fix by any means, It's a lifetime lifestyle change. This is how the program works: They provide a diet plan for you to follow and provide challenging workout sessions. If you follow the diet plan accordingly, you WILL have AMAZING results! Just in the first two weeks alone, the average person loses between 5 and 15 pounds. I lost 14 pounds within the first two weeks. Basically, if you put in the work and follow the diet plan perfectly, you WILL experience an incredible transformation. I must warn you, this is a positive energy only zone. They don't tolerate negative attitudes or negative talk. You must be willing to keep your mindset positive while taking part in the program. You must also hold yourself accountable. I love the program so much that I plan on being a lifetime member! My journey hasn't been easy, I had my setbacks here and there but I overcame them and I'm now looking better than ever. I'm so much happier, healthier, and sexier because of my decision to become a member. The program has truly changed my life for the better! Oh, and for those that are curious about my comment about winning a car, it's absolutely true! I mention this last because the main goal for joining this fitness program should be for your health and not the car..... although it's a pretty sweet added bonus! I signed up for the 6 week 20 lb challenge and just finished my 6 weeks yesterday and lost 25.7 lbs, yay! The Camp has exceeded my expectations. Plain and simple, stick with the program and you will see the results. The trainers (Julia, Nikki, and Charles) do a phenomenal job pushing you to challenge yourself in ways you didn't think possible. What I like about coming here is there's people on all different fitness levels but one common goal: to be healthy and fit. The 6 week challenge is tough as you will follow a strict diet as well as attending daily fitness classes. Luckily you have support every step of the way and it feels great to watch the pounds shed and your endurance grow. It's been amazing to see how much I really am capable of. The camp's motto is simple and sums it up perfectly: Stay Fit Don't Quit!

The gym is super clean, spacious, focused--and one thing I really appreciated--no cameras or video nonsense. Just you, your goals, and the work. I signed up for the 8-week program after meeting Patricia Khoury, the owner, for a free session. Right away, I could tell she was different. She actually took the time to listen to what I was dealing with--weight gain, wanting to build muscle, and get my balance back after knee replacements. She really got it, and explained exactly how she could help in a way that made total sense. Now I'm 7 weeks in, and honestly--I feel stronger, I've lost 10 pounds, built noticeable muscle, and I feel like my old self again. I'm more active, more confident, and way more energized. Patricia's coaching style is no joke--in the best way. She's 100% present in every session, always making sure I'm moving with intention, never letting me slack. She's tough, but in a supportive, encouraging way. You know she's in your corner. Yeah, I was sore the first few weeks, but it was so worth it. She also gave me a simple, doable meal plan that I could actually stick with (and I'm not someone who likes complicated diets). It's made a big difference. I even got my wife to join in with me, and she's just as happy I chose Patricia over the other coaches in the area. IF you're think you're doing something when you workout, get in with Patty to REALLY WORKOUT EFFECTIVELY. She corrects your form to prevent injury, but encourages you to get out of your comfort zone to get you those RESULTS you are looking for. It's still a good time to burn out at Well.Fit.
