He called a shortly after to let me know that he had replaced the screen but the phone needed more parts that would out weigh the price of the phone. He offered options but we agreed to not replace the parts. He wasn't going to charge me anything even though he spent the time trying to fix the phone. I at least left a little money for the time and effort which he was reluctant to take. It was such a relief to deal with an honest, great spirited person.

I scheduled the appointment for the update and new screen protector. I got a call the week of the appointment, wanting to discuss the time of the one I selected. I chose Christmas Eve Day, from like 2-5 or something like that. I ended up going a few days earlier since they assured me it would not take the full time slot. It also turned out they are not Verizon but are located near them. They are a small store; they have some phone cases and signs. I waited for someone to come from the back and then we got to talking about my phone's issues. This appointment was not for that- but I was there so what the heck. They said it would not take long, so I went and ate nearby. I came back, and they then informed me there was an app, I think McAfee that was preventing them from doing their job. I told them they could delete it- then they asked if they could delete other apps if needed to do the service. It turned out my phone was okay, but they thought there was a virus & they suggested a full reset. I did that a few days later. The issue I was having is resolved.

It had not given me a low battery warning or anything. But once I brought it they claimed it's the charger port and recommended replacing the battery so I did both because I listened to their recommendation. Spoiler, it was a big mistake. It took a whole MONTH to replace both parts. And when I finally did get it back and bring it home it turns on normally, but guess what error it gives me? If you guessed "unable to detect charger" you'd be correct! So I dropped it back off and showed them pictures and videos of the problem. I had to call back a week later because I hadn't heard anything and they tried to gaslight me into thinking I was wrong and they recommend I buy a new charger cable. Now, to anyone that has more than two braincells, this sounds like a bad original diagnostics or faulty repair and they will not fix the problem so I guess I wasted both time and money. I asked if they would at least give me a discount on a new charger and they said they can't. I originally went there because google reviews have it at 4.8 stars. What a lie. I tried leaving a review there after my experience only to realize it was being shadow banned. Should have checked yelp first, all the reviews here are more realistic.

I took it to Fix like a Pro to Bassam K. After inspection he said the battery had expanded and it was pushing the screen off. He said he could replace the battery and get the screen back on. It only took a couple days and was back to perfect shape, everything working well and was a very reasonable price to get the new battery. Bassam was the best!

So I decide to come into All Cellular since my mom had a good experience some years ago. They initially told me $45 for the battery replacement. The guy says "wait 10-15 minutes," I happily say yes. About AN HOUR later the same guy comes out to tell me that he couldn't get the home button on my iPhone to work. That wasn't a problem before. "It'll be $20 because I need to replace the entire screen now" he says. "But that wasn't a problem before coming in here" I responded. Basically, I had to have my screen replaced to have a working phone. He said "I'll pay half". Whatever. Sure. About 30 minutes later it's done. He says they only take cash. Why wasn't this mentioned during the almost hour and a half I was just sitting there? I'm extremely upset at this point and ask where I can find a Chase ATM because I'm not spending more money than needed on this little deal. A girl with really long hair who works there says "go to the Walgreens right there they have a chase atm". So I go. Oh and I had to leave my phone, that's fine no big deal. Turns out that the Walgreens doesn't have a chase atm so I paid $3 more for this whole ordeal. I couldn't map a nearby chase atm because once again, I had to leave my phone at the store. I come back to the store and the guy says it's $65. I'm like what? I only got $60 because $45 + the $10 (remember he had said he'd pay fo half of the 20 for the screen WHICH WAS HIS MISTAKE to begin with FYI). So he says ok, and I thought I would get $5 back....but of course not! And I told the girl "by the way, Walgreens doesn't have a chase atm. I had to pay $3 extra for this" and she unapologetically just says "ok". Horrible horrible and I feel like they find ways to get more money out of you. I wasted my time and my money. If you're looking for cheaper places that actually are honest and do a good job, I recommend a phone repair shop inside the flea market called El Centro on indian School ad 43rd. They've done an awesome job on my phone and don't charge you for their mistakes (which don't happen anyways)
