Kimiko was not only friendly and personable, but she was very knowledgeable. She was also humble enough to call on her co-workers' different strengths to really help me get exactly what I needed. I LOVED seeing the teamwork between Kimiko and Mara. As a woman of color, it's not always easy to get the right shade, undertone, etc...and as a woman with oily skin, some products make my shine turn all the way up. Kimiko, also being a woman of color with a diverse background, seemed to give her an open-mindedness and a willingness to really become a make-up sleuth, that I just don't get from another well-known cosmetic store . I was so pleased with my experience, I will be back! It was well worth the 30-minute drive.

Fortunately, my wife always does an online order, so we are able to utilize the curbside spots up front. Organized by brand and type of makeup.. it can be impossible to find the one specific thing that you want, so it is great to use online order and have the employees do it for you!! They have a dedicated kiosk inside the door to pickup orders... and you are literally in and out. No hassle, same coupons, easy parking!

Sally Beauty is a retail-store chain that sells professional-quality beauty supplies for reasonable…read moreprices. This particular store is in South Hills Village mall. I sometimes shop at Sally Beauty for haircare, skincare, and cosmetics. The store also sells hair color, hair tools, nail products, etcetera. The prices are significantly lower than competing beauty-supply stores' prices (such as Sephora), and I think that the quality is just as high or even higher. For example, eyeliners and brow pencils here cost only several dollars each but work well. I like the quality of the shampoos, conditioners, and retinol products. During my most recent visit to this store, the employee greeted me, asked if I needed assistance in a non-pushy way, and thanked me for visiting.

This store in particular is my favorite one in the area to go to. The one in North Hills Mall is so small and cramped. That mall seems to always be a little bit busy, so that store can get too overcrowded sometimes. The south hills location is a bit bigger, so there's more room to breathe. The workers at this store are very helpful and sweet, and one lady (I can't remember her name, but she has short red hair) is always so helpful at recommending the best products for your skin.
