I'm going to come clean now (literally, because Lush sells amazing soaps) about my downright obsession with Lush. Everything about this place is wonderful, and most of all I love that Lush as a company is conscious about plastic waste and looking out for the environment. Spending my money at a place that cares about their ecological footprint is important to me, so sometimes that's how I justify spending more than I probably should here! The story begins back when I came across a video online of a nifty shampoo bar as a replacement for the traditional shampoo that comes in a thick plastic bottle. It just so happened that Lush was the creator of these shampoo bars, and I had to order one to try it myself. Ever since then I've been hooked, and Lush shampoo bars are probably among my favorite products of theirs. They are to the left when you walk in at the South Hills location, and I'm sure if you have trouble finding them one of the sales associates would be more than happy to help you! Each bar has lasted me nearly 2 months, and I have thick hair that I wash every other day. For around $12 you can't beat it. Aside from the shampoo bars, Lush's Dream Cream is phenomenal. Regular pricing is $29.95 for an 8.4 ounce container, but I promise it's worth every penny! During one trip to stock up on shampoo bars the sales associate gave me several samples of lotions, soaps, and a small chunk of their natural deodorant. I haven't tried the natural deodorant yet, but I'm willing to give it a shot. Every experience I've had here has been a good one, and the employees are always friendly and willing to help explain a product to you or give you a recommendation. I love coming here, and I'll be a returning customer to this store as long as it exists! Definitely give Lush a shot if you like great service and great products! read more

Lush products saved my skin. Specifically, the dark angels charcoal face wash transformed my skin by exfoliating and getting rid of blemishes, so I highly recommend that product to everyone. This store in particular is my favorite one in the area to go to. The one in North Hills Mall is so small and cramped. That mall seems to always be a little bit busy, so that store can get too overcrowded sometimes. The south hills location is a bit bigger, so there's more room to breathe. The workers at this store are very helpful and sweet, and one lady (I can't remember her name, but she has short red hair) is always so helpful at recommending the best products for your skin. I was really excited at the end of Christmas sell when they have their holiday gifts buy one get one, along with certain Christmas holiday items. This is the best time to buy in my opinion you can pick the items you like to use the most. The Golden Wonder and Stardust were my picks. My favorites from here are the galaxy bath bomb, sex bomb, dark angels charcoal mask and scrub, rose jam bubble bar, and the coffee scrub. read more

Ever since that location closed, the South Hills store has been my Lush. I often go out to the mall JUST for Lush. Bright, colorful Bath bombs, Bubble Bars, Lotions, Lip Scrubs, Shower Jellies... When walking by, people unfamiliar with Lush often think it's a candy store! The people in this store are typically very knowledgeable and friendly in my experience. They're happy to demo things or explain the benefits of the products you're interested in. If nothing else, go in for the heavenly smells. My friend and I visited today and I have to say that their service and knowledge is IMPECCABLE! Erin specifically helped both of us find skin care regimens that would work for our unique complexions and also considering our allergy concerns. I get so nervous to try new product on my face because I struggle with breakout issues and have very sensitive skin. Also, I have a pretty severe allergy to salicylic acid and Erin was sure to check every single product she recommended before using it on me for my hand facials. She also knew SO much about literally every single product that we asked about and was able to even steer us away from some that she knew wouldn't be a good choice for us given out specific needs. When I go shopping THIS is the type of service and experience I want to always have. I left with samples to try for a week before buying the whole lot of products (that was a major driving point for me to want to return... they believe so much in their product that they will let you leave with tons of samples and not require a purchase.) I am so excited to try everything and will ABSOLUTELY be back to make my purchase from Erin going forward! read more

Hi I honestly never do reviews, but I wanted to take time out to do this one!! Everytime I go into this specific store everyone is very friendly and super helpful. I went in on Saturday November 30, honestly just looking around. This lady (I forgot to get her name) was so kind and super helpful. She gave me samples of two fresh face masks as well as two lotions for my dry skin and all of her suggestions are amazing so far!! In Pittsburgh, decided to visit this location for the 1st time. What an experience! I was literally greeted with smiles when I walked in and between Sydney and Cathy (Lush staff), it was an all around pleasant and enjoyable experience. Sydney is incredibly well-informed on all Lush Products and Cathy was just amazing on every level. This location is maintained well. All of the products from Lush are handmade, 100% vegetarian and they're against animal testing. Would definitely come back! read more

Amazing experience! Never had a real chance to go into a Lush until today for my best friends birthday. We walked in and were greeted immediately by I believe his name was Drew. We told him we never shopped at Lush and he offered us some help and showed us pretty much around the whole store and gave us information on all the products. Their shampoo bars are great. I'm really happy with their scalp treatment products. I tried every over the counter product and even a couple prescriptions for my dry scalp and dandruff. This Lush is the best in the area! Every employee is super helpful and willing to let you try whatever, but also assist you and demonstrate what you need. Erin was the one to help me last time I was in and she allowed me to explore several different products, that I went back and purchased full sizes of because I loved them so much.
