OK. So I get that MAC is very popular. I used to LOVE the brand a few years ago, but stopped using it. I'm looking for a very specific shade of nude lipstick, so I knew I had to go and give it a shot at MAC. The counter was, as usual, packed. I stood there for a good 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I love this M.A.C.! It's my favorite cosmetic store to go to. I always feel intimidated at other cosmetic stores because I'm not very talented or knowledgeable about how to do my makeup. I'm trying to learn! This M.A.C and the associates here are always so friendly, knowledgeable, and nonjudgmental. They teach me about what makeup will work best for my skin and always offer me samples to try first. I never feel pressured to buy which. I trust that they are trying to help me find makeup I'll love as opposed to just trying to make a sale. Today Alessia helped me and was so sweet and made great recommendations about eye shadows for my eye color. I came to Cumberland Mall on a leisurely shopping trip with plans to go to a later event. While there, I had an unexpected emergency and needed to complete my makeup without time to make a trip home. I entered Mac Cosmetics with inquiries to get my face done up and discussed with Alecia options for my face. After thinking through my options, Alecia went to work! It was such a relief as I had been an emotional wreck. In less than 30 minutes, I felt like a million bucks! Not only did she make my bushy eyebrows look arched with a beautiful Halo, my bags under my eyes disappeared with just a few strokes of her artistic brush. Just walked into the MAC area of Macy's. Despite there being three associates standing behind the counter not helping a customer, not one of them spoke or asked if they could help. One person left the floor and two others move from behind the counter to have a conversation with each other on the floor. I walked away and then came back...still no service!!! I came for a complete makeover, but no one seemed to want to work today. They don't work on commission, so I guess good customer service is not motivation enough! Not open! Scheduled to open at 11 am..they were "meeting" and refused to open as scheduled. I mouthed to one of the workers what time and he said 12...I informed him that it says 11 and he punted at the manager I guess. I don't typically wear makeup,but when I do I usually always get it done at MAC.I decided to try out a new MAC location because it was closer to the venue I had to be at,and that was one of the best decisions I ever made.I had the honor of getting my makeup done by Tony.His level of expertise and execution was amazing and unforgettable.The best makeup application ever!!He made me feel very comfortable,and beat my face like no other.I worked in retail management for years,and this is the type of employee that keeps a company running.He was honest, genuine,and kept me laughing the entire time.I now refuse to let anyone else do my makeup,so I will be making the commute to see Tony for every occasion. read more

Love Mac products, Went to Perimeter Mac store to get some new products. I guess because they were so busy that day they didn't have time to clean their brushes after each customer. One sales rep who was helping me get a color testing used a dirty ass brush on my face which caused my face to break out in pimples. I have used Mac products for years so I know it wasn't the products, It was the careless sales rep. Going forward I will bring my own brush when I wants any other facial testing. read more
