The day of my appointment it was outing down rain, I live about a mile away so was driving slowly. I made it to the shop at 12:28 for a 12:30 appt. I look at my messages and the owner is asking me to reschedule. I walked into the shop and ignored the text. I wasn't late. When I made the appointment online, she had a 12 noon, 12:30 pm which I took and a 5:00 pm. I was in the midst of getting my hair done, all of a sudden an elderly lady comes in at 1:30. She , the owner I believe, stopped doing my hair and asked if she could put color on the lady's hair " real fast ". I obliged, what could I say. Even though I'm sure she was the the noon appointment. She took more than 1 hour. She barely apologized for the delay. When she got back to me, she burnt me with flat iron . I later found a bald spot in the same area where she burned me. She was 80% done with my hair but still chose to do this put her other client before me. I remained calm, paid her a decent tip and never returned. Very rude to first time customer. She probably doesn't even remember this . I have not returned. I do not recommend if I could give negative star I would. Mary B

She arrived on time, got right to it and to my amazement, she did not take a break for more than a short few minutes at a time. She is FAST! She is PRECISE! She provided EXACTLY the style my daughter had longed for! (and she is a particular. teen!) Nancy knocked out those waist length, small box braids in 5hrs, which was exactly the time she estimated it would be! Claire, stylist greeted us when we arrived. Like Nancy, she was kind, professional and a pleasure to talk to! There was a gentleman there with us towards the end of the appointment. He answers the phone periodically. He was also very kind! All are super down to earth and again, professional, which is important to me! Covid Measures - all staff wore masks and maintained Covid precautions! PROS - clean salon - professional staff (kind as well) - precise and efficient stylist - on time - location (easy to find, plenty of parking) CONS - none! The salon is lively and well lit. There were quite a few braiders, some clients had two braiders. I booked a wash and blow dry in addition to knotless braids at 3:30pm. The shampoo smells good - like a tea tree smell. I think i had a newbie braider (not sure) but all of my parts are even and all of my braids are super neat and the same size. Leslie finished my braids b/c I wanted cornrows on one side. I also got my ends curled. I was there for about 6 hours, but again its lively so there is music playing, the braiders are talking to one another here and there. I love my hair and it was reasonably priced. Super convenient to be able to get a same day appointment.

The business owner is insane. Attached are screenshots…read more I came in for a haircut today with one of their stylists, Chloe. While I was in there, we were chitchatting and I just didn't feel too confident in the haircut that I would get based off of some of the questions she was asking and her general demeanor. After sitting in the chair for about a minute, I gently said, "Chloe I'm sorry I don't think that I'll be able to get a haircut here today." She said that's ok, took the apron off me, and walked me out the door. I then get a message 25 minutes later from the owner, telling me that I was stealing from her business and that she was calling the police on me! Her stylist had not cut any of my hair and I had only been in her chair for 1 minute before stopping her! Also, Chloe said that's fine and walked me out without asking for me to pay for "her service". This business owner is insane and feels it acceptable to call the police on her potential clients. I have no problem responding to the owner if she decides to react to this review to "explain the situation" to make herself not look so bad. I can back up everything I've claimed and I'm quite upset by the situation.

The owner was talking to the stylist about how to do my hair etc etc. To be honest, I SHOULD of said something, the stylist that was going to do my hair, looked nervous. But I kept my mouth shut. Let's just say, I left the salon, with the same hair. No cut, and at 530pm instead of 430pm. I texted the owner & told her next time, someone else has to do my hair. She asked if I liked my hair. I flat out lied. I was stressed for time & didn't want to stress on the matter, as I had some place to be. I wanted to like my hair, but the next day. When I took a good look, I was pretty pissed, more than anything. There are noticeable highlights when I tie my hair up, otherwise, my roots up top are still far out & looks like no color attached on. At the end - 2 other stylists had to join in to help. Which is why I tipped $70. I did set up another appt but eventually cancelled. I even went on IG to see the stylist's page. She's great! She's been doing it for years, but I'm still unsure of what went wrong. Now if I at least had a hair cut, I don't think I'd be as unpleased. And definitely would return to try & get it fixed. But, this whole situation def made me upset, angry, and down right sad.
