This past week I made my first visit to this MAC.BID location. Straight forward and the process for bidding and picking up was easy. Many people bring their own pushcarts or wagons as the location's flatbeds are short on stock. I was in and out within 15 min. I did pick up a few items that were broken which makes sense as it was listed as 'open box' Highly recommend you inspect the item before bidding if listed as anything other than like new. I live out of state so could not verify and inspect items before bidding/picking up. Will be back to bid on more items! read more

I purchased these items for my new apartment and did not open the box until I was ready to install them. When I opened the package, I was absolutely disgusted by what I found. These toilet seats were dirty, appeared to have already been used, and one of them is broken. The hardware and other components also appear to have been previously used. I have attached photographs showing exactly what I received. I understand that MAC.BID merchandise is sold "as-is." However, that does not make it acceptable to repackage used and broken merchandise and put it back up for sale without properly disclosing its condition. If these items were actually inspected before being repackaged and sold, then I have a very serious question: How could someone inspect a broken toilet seat, see that it was dirty and previously used, repackage it, and then put it up for sale as merchandise that someone could purchase? That is extremely troubling to me. Repackaging a broken and unusable product and putting it back on the market without properly disclosing its condition is fraudulent and completely unacceptable. I spent my money on these items, and I should not have to discover after opening the package that what I purchased is dirty, previously used, and broken. The Colorado Springs MAC.bid is terrible. They sell broken items, listing them as "Opened". There is NO customer service except an AI bot AND their bidding process is rigged. I was the final bidder on an item, and it was listed as me as WINNER after the bidding was closed. 1 Star Mac.Bid gives customers three days to pick up their purchases before items are restocked and additional fees may apply. On Day 2, my wife went to pick up my items for me and was turned away because she was not listed as an authorized pickup person. While I understand that policy, the problem was that customer service is nearly impossible to reach. Phone calls go unanswered, and emails are not responded to in a timely manner. On Day 3, after finally making contact, I was granted a one-week extension to pick up my items. Based on that assurance, I made the trip to both the Henderson and North Las Vegas locations the very next day. Neither location had my items available, despite the extension that had been approved. I later learned that my items had been relisted and resold. Not only did Mac.Bid keep my payment, but they also kept the proceeds from reselling the same items. To make matters worse, my account was suspended during this process. This issue has now dragged on for weeks. Customer service still has not provided a meaningful response, and when I speak with managers at the pickup locations, they simply tell me to contact customer service. They acknowledge that customer service is difficult to reach and often does not respond, yet no one is willing or able to resolve the issue. I followed the instructions given to me, obtained an approved extension, and made multiple attempts to retrieve my items. Instead, my items were resold, my money was kept, my account was suspended, and I have been left without answers. I have learned to buy the insurance its expensive but if item isn't what its supposed to be or missing stuff or broken at least with insurance you get your money back for item. When I checked the listing again on 04/16/2026, the condition had been changed to "Partial," which is a significant difference for this type of equipment. I contacted the North Las Vegas location immediately and requested that my bid be removed due to this material change. I was told that I must have been mistaken and was advised to purchase buyer's assurance instead and return the item if needed. I was also told a supervisor would follow up with me, but I never received a call. For a home gym system, "partial" can mean missing essential components, making it unusable. This is not the same condition as "like new," and I would not have placed a bid under those terms. I am simply requesting that my bid be removed since the listing was changed after my bid was placed and the item is no longer as originally described. I hope this can be resolved directly, otherwise I will consider filing a complaint with consumer protection. I have luck 50% of the time at MacBid. It used to be so much better but now they add extra fees any chance you get. The staff does a horrible job of checking the items and posting factual information. "As is" is a huge gamble I've been burned on several times. HIGHLY suggest you check everything before you leave. I've used several auction sites before, but Mac Bid was a completely different experience unfortunately, not in a good way. Unlike Nellis Auction, where customer service and organization make the process smooth, Mac Bid feels like a gamble in more ways than one. First, if you don't pick up your items within their strict timeframe, they'll simply keep your money and (I assume) resell your items. There's no flexibility, and if you need extra time, you have to pay a monthly storage fee. I paid for two months because I got busy, which is on me, but even after spending around $200, they ended up keeping almost all of my items and I only picked up 3 things before they essentially took the remainder of my items and my money. When I reached out to customer service, I was met with a cold "that's the policy" response , no attempt to help or make it right. On top of that, picking up items is a real pain. Unlike Nellis Auction, where they bring your items out and even guide you into a parking spot, Mac Bid requires you to dig through a warehouse full of dirty boxes, searching for your purchases. It's frustrating, time consuming, and not worth the headache. I get that rules are rules, but a little customer service and flexibility go a long way. Unfortunately, Mac Bid didn't deliver on either. Once you know how simple it is to bid, there's lots of deals to be had. There's times where more people could be interested in the same item but you still get a deal in those moments. The fees vary and there's taxes and not a deal breaker. I've thankfully have bought myself plenty of things that would have cost me a lot more if not purchased here on Mac.bid. I like the manager and team is very diligent in making sure things are organized and anyone can easily tell it's hard work. Props to you all. You bid online using the MAC.BID app. Onec you win your item, you stop here to pick up your goodies. The area is huge and the shelves are PACKED with merchandise. The good - you can acquire a lot of really good stuff for a fraction of the cost. The bad - you should buy the insurance every time, and open your boxes before leaving to check your goods. Here's why ? 1) I bought three Christmas trees stands with wheels, which came in very large, heavy manufacturers boxes. When I opened them it wasn't even close to what I bought. Only one was insured and they reluctantly did me a favor by returning only one. Receipts attached. 2) I bought a frame with a bible verse on it, it too came in a large box, there was a picture of the frame in the box but when I brought it home it was full of smaller empty boxes and packaging- basically trash and their argument is I left the warehouse so no refund. My product wasn't in the box!!!! 3) I've bought two office chairs and a bar stool - all were missing the key nuts and bolts to put it together. Home Depot does carry furniture bolts so it wasn't perfect but I managed. 4) Watch the fees. It adds up quickly. 5) most of the products are damaged in one way or another - bird feeder bent; easy up canopy with a broken frame; brass plaque that was resin and broken; bed pillows unwrapped; Christmas tree with bad lights/no tree stand; and the biggest is the product you've purchased isn't what's in the box!!!! Bottom line- in many cases I wouldn't have bought much of this stuff and you're better off paying full price so you can return it if it's broken, damaged, missing pieces or you don't like it. Byer beware. If you poke around enough you will see former and current workers talk about their business practices. They Don't care if the item you get all the part or works they workers photograph items to make them look great and attach links to something that may or may not be your item. There are returned items and they do not inspect to make sure you are getting all of the parts or if your item is not inworking order. From comments found multiple places online it is common to get items that are not usable. We bid on a fan and brought it home to find out that multiple parts were misssing. Be careful if you bid as the fees that are added often make the item higher that its worth and their suggested retail price is usually hyper inflated. read more

Beware of cockroaches I found one after winning from an auction. Customer service is rude, and dismissive, useless. Beware of "open box" ANYTHING can be inside. If it's an open box they can at least look inside and see if the item is inside instead of still selling it. Seems more like a scam.
