Miguel and his crew did an amazing job painting my kitchen cabinets. He communicated with me every day to let me know when he arrived, and he was consistently neat, organized, and respectful of my home. The areas he worked in were always well‑blocked off and kept clean. He offered many color options and helped bring my exact vision to life -- the transformation of my kitchen is everything I hoped for. His crew was also polite, professional, and pleasant to have around. I'm so happy I chose Miguel for this project. His pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of his work exceeded my expectations. read more

Service Requested: The exterior painting of our home. The HOA (Landmark Limited) required us to paint the entire exterior, even though they couldn't provide us with the exact color schemes. Didn't matter, Miguel, due to his experience in Capital Village, was able to identify the exact scheme. Quality: The crew and painting was first class work. Punctual, reliable, cleaned up each day, worked with us and our dog's schedule. It's amazing how a fresh coat of paint makes an old house fell new again. Value: Wasn't the least expensive and by no means the most expensive. Worth every single penny. We are very happy with the quality of the work. Matter of fact, our neighbor will be using MAB Painting as well. read more

This was a Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde experience. Miguel began sounding extremely hard-working, humble and contientous, and turned into a nightmare of being gaslighted and ending up with a quick and dirty job. If you want someone to start with lowball prices and jack them up disproprtionately for any changes, these are your guys. If you want someone who promises lots of prep work, two coats everywhere and then takes all kinds of shortcuts if you're not around, these are your guys. If you want someone who blocks the neighbors driveway, is rude to the neighbors and hits their car with their vehicle, go with MAB Painting. If you're getting a rental pianted that you don't really care about quality, go with them. If you want someone who does a poor job and then gaslights you with how hard they worked (rather than whether the final product is well done), these are your guys. I see the consistent 5 star ratings here and wish I got THAT guy, but I didn't. To his credit, he did come back multiple times to address the serious issues with his original job, but there was a lot of arguing about things like whether gaps in the siding are acceptable (see pics) and what's needed to fix it. At the end of the day, I gave final payment for a job that I wasn't happy with, and that I had to get riled up about for him to address. In the meantime he tried to convince me each time he came back to make incremental fixes that a shoddy job was actually fine. Not a good job but I was ready to move on. read more

Miguel and his team surpassed my expectations. They painted the interior and exterior of my home. The work was very high quality and completed quickly. I appreciate the attention to detail and recommendations that Miguel made along the way. Price was very reasonable and communication was excellent. read more

Miguel and his team are very professional. From the initial quote to finish. He was helpful in design and verified pre-existing issues that could use attention but did not make it a have to but would you like to fix this at this time situation. His team paid close attention to detail and made sure everything was covered ahead of time so there was no overspray/ mess to worry about. Very reasonably priced and he also recently started excepting credit card payments for a nominal fee. read more

Miguel and his team were very professional and reliable. They replaced some siding with dry rot and painted house all over. Communication was great. I needed my exterior paintings done. Did some researches on Yelp and decided to hire MAB. Miguel was responsive and prompt. Miguel and his team finished the project within 4 days. First day was power washing the house. Second day was prepping. Third day, started painting. Fourth day, finished painting the rest of the exterior. They even came back another day for a touch up. They did a good job. His price was decent as well. I don't know much about painting but I did learn a little from Miguel and his team. read more

Miguel H. met me on site (Elmhurst area) to evaluate what paint work was needed for the exterior wood siding of the house, detached garage and a backyard portico. We added the job of replacing the south side gable and door threshold with an appropriate wood composite and painting the porch with epoxy to be slip resistant. He power washed, removed the chipping paint and cleaned the gutters before painting with Kelly Moore Dura Poxy, matte finish. He selected without my help the paint color similar to the original paint on the house. The work was finished as scheduled. Great communication and updates from Miguel. He kept me informed with text msgs and photos during the project. So easy to work with M.A.B. Painting. All finished work looked beautiful and the pictures show what you see in person. 5 Star plus, plus!! read more

Miguel and his team were hard working and did a great job. I got three bids on Yelp and he was lower than his competitors. I don't always chose the lowest bid but he was first to call me back. He came right out to look at he job and let me know the quote on the spot. He also followed it up with a written quote that evening. When we wanted to upgrade the paint, he came out again and sat down with us and went over our options and the cost difference. Very helpful. He and his team were always on time and ready to work. He spent extra time on some cracked wood panels on the front of the house and made them look like new. I highly recommend MAB Painting and would use them again. read more

Miguel and his team were helpful and excellent while doing a full-house interior paint job. The in-person walk through and quote was fast and they were available pretty quickly after (about a week). They worked gladly and patiently with non-ideal situations (like pausing for a plumbing issue, dealing with a weather-related blackout, and working on a bunch of plastering we didn't anticipate) and were understanding when we chose a more complicated paint or were still thinking through some color options. He really put customer service first throughout. The house looks incredible, almost unrecognizably great thanks to him. read more

They did a fantastic job and cleaned up after themselves too. I will DEFINITELY be calling him for future projects. read more

Professional, skilled and courteous describes Miguel and his team of painters. I hired MAB Painting to paint the interior of a rental house. I was super impressed. The team did a fantastic job. I had a huge paint issue. The previous owner of my house did a horrible job and the paint was pealing everyone; looked like a horror movie. I reached out to Miguel and not only did he provide a great quote, his work was phenomenal. I couldn't be happier with the result and the value. read more

We chose Miguel and his team for an exterior paint project for our house and backyard shed. His team was able to repair a side of the shed that had wood damage prior to paint. Miguel and his team did a fantastic job! They were very easy to work with and I would def recommend them.

I contacted MAB painting based on their reviews. Miguel (owner) set up a time to inspect the house for an estimate. He arrived on time which is a pet peeve of mine. If a contractor can't show up on time, I'm not hiring them. Miguel was thorough unlike some other contractors that came out. He took his time, searched for dry rot, cracks, and caulking issues. He explained his painting process and paint products. He then advised me he would send an estimate with all the details and price. I had other contractors come out and do a quick walk through and throw a price out. Miguel was obviously much more professional. I received an estimate the following day and his quote was detailed and very competitive. Miguel started and completed the project on time. His crew was professional, clean, hard working and did a nice paint job. My only recommendation to Miguel would be to follow up with his clients a week or so later to make sure everything went well. That would put him in the 5+ category. I recommend MAB painting if you're looking for a reliable and professional painter. read more

Miguel did a great job removing difficult wall paper and repainting entire house. Very happy with the finished project!

From the beginning to the end Miguel was freindly, professional, prompt each day, he texted me each day when he was done and what time he was arriving the next day. The cost to paint our house was very reasonable. He pressure washed the entire house before painting it. He even cleaned our gutters for us, which was a job because they hadn't been cleaned for many years. Additionally he was very clean and organized putting tarps on the ground around the perimeter of the house that he tapped down. He also did a final clean up of the ground when he pulled up the tarps. This was the best contractor experience we have had in a very long time. We are super happy with his service and have been referring him to our friends and neighbors. Miguel thank you so much. read more

Miguel was responsive, prompt and delivered as promised. His work was excellent as was his professionalism.
