I bought a new boat from M2O. Carter was my sales rep and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable and professional. He did not push hard like normal sales reps. Carter answered every single question I had in a timely manner. Extremely easy to communicate with him through my buying process. I highly recommend going to M2O if you are looking for a great deal and really nice people like Carter to help you out. read more

I met the owner, Ian, at the boat show and had a great conversation with him. He seemed knowledgeable and friendly. M20 Marine had an eFoil floor model on display, and I offered to buy it. Ian told me not to buy the floor model and instead come to the store for a brand-new one at the same price. I called him on Monday to make the purchase. He answered and said he couldn't talk but would call me back in a few minutes. He never did. After that, he didn't answer calls, respond to texts, or return messages. I even called the store and still received no callback. Very disappointing. I was a ready-to-buy customer, and a simple return call would have gone a long way. read more

Local here in San Diego I bought a used boat from Ian, told me to come back if there were any problems. Countless problems. For example depth finder doesn't work. He told me it's a used boat and never come back to his store. Be cautious of all the other 5 star posts im sure friends and family did . read more

We happen to come across M2O and Aaron at the San Diego International Boat Show this past June. Aaron was great, no pressure sales at all, he let the Yamaha speak for itself. Took us for a test run and ended up back at the dealer that afternoon. Picked up my 252S the next weekend. Can't wait for next years Catalina Regatta. read more

M20 Marine provided by far our best experience working with a dealership. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the process. We want to give a special thank you to Aaron for being so great to work with; his knowledge is very impressive, and he took the time to ensure we understood every aspect of our new boat. We couldn't have asked for a better experience--thank you! read more

First time boat owner here in San Diego. Watch out of the owner Ian. Very likable guy at first- his favorite slogan for his sales reps is "we aren't like a used auto lot, if you buy from us we treat you like family xyz. Handed a check over for a used boat. The cover ripped off from previous holes from previous owner. I pulled over spoke with the person I handed a check to 20 mins prior. Was told a cover would be no big deal. Got a call saying my boat was ready to picked up. No cover. Sat on their lot for a week not covered, tried to upsell me a cover when I got there in person. I confronted Ian, who sold me the boat, and he told me to never step foot in his store again. I was super excited on purchasing my first boat, Ian completely ruined the experience, the purchase and now truly owning a boat. Not a way to do business, you should be ashamed. read more

I highly recommend M2O marine if you're looking for the best watercraft. We bought our second boat with M2O; working with Ian was such a positive experience. The service is top-notch and their boats are the best of the best for water sports. It's all very impressive. read more

Dear Craig, After seeing multiple boat stores over the last 22 years, I can't say how impressed I am with Aaron and M2O Marine. No other place compares. They went out of their way to make the experience efficient and painless. Paperwork was completed both numbers on the boat clean detailed and ready for the water. Aaron did everything and more than expected. The walk-through was excellent. They did not try to nickel and dime for any extras. In fact they gave me extra items I wasn't even expecting. Thanks Aaron and we will see you on the Catalina trip!! Jack read more

Charlie Wolfe was amazing. I had a lot of questions and charlie was able to answer all of them. I was really impressed, as when I go to buy a car or other boat stores the sales person doesn't know the answer to a lot of my questions. Charlie was great knew everything and knew every price on every boat and I saw a lot of them read more

So, my buying a boat journey begins!! I looked countless days/ hours looking for a boat and mostly all dealerships were sold out especially due to the pandemic. I even looked in Nevada (I'm in California)and had no luck. I looked online and met up with many boat owners (pre-owned) only to discover issue after issue until I looked online at M2O Marine. The boat I wanted was there and so I called and Trevor answered and let me know that someone is in the process of purchasing it already but if anything should change he would let me know. I heard from him the very next day saying it was available and walked me through everything I needed to know. I drove over seven hours to M2O Marine from the bay area the very next day and I must say, it was definitely worth it! Trevor took care of us from the moment I inquired. As a new boat owner, Trevor made us feel welcomed and listened exactly to what I wanted and answered all my questions even when he was on his lunch break, he was very consistent before and after my purchase with all my silly questions. I would drive there again just for the customer service I received from Trevor! Lastly I want to give a huge thanks to all the staff at M2O Marine, from the minute we arrived, we were greeted by everyone, they were so friendly and the store had lots of inventory to choose from and neat boat accessories. Thanks so much Trevor and staff for our starter boat, when we master it, we'll be back for our forever boat! read more

Thank you to our salesman Trevor! From day one when I called M2O marine about 2 months prior to buying, it's been great customer service. He's easy to talk to and have been on top of responding so quickly to hundreds of questions I had via text which made it convenient rather than phone calls (of course I'm sure he'd be happy to take calls too). It was like I was talking to a friend and not a salesman pressuring me to buy right away just to get a sale. Also want to thank him for taking us through an easy finance process to get our Yamaha AR190! Going through all the details on paperwork and signing was stress free!! Also want to thank Aaron for delivering the boat, meeting us at San Vicente Reservoir, and showing us how to operate it (first time boat owners). He was very detailed from beginning to end, through every step of the way, and left us feeling confident to be out on the water. Overall, the whole experience with these guys were awesome and we'd definitely be back when we're ready to upgrade. We appreciated the follow up from Trevor later in the day to make sure we did not have any problems or issues on the reservoir. I could tell these guys actually care and have a passion for boats and not just trying to scam or rip off customers. If you are a thinking of buying your first boat or even looking to upgrade, this is a sign! Go down and see them, it was the best decision we've made to buy a boat. No regrets! Thank you again M2O!! read more

Following my very first conversation with Ian on the phone it was practically a done deal that I would be purchasing a boat from M2O Marine as an out of state buyer. Ian gets customer service and really wants you to be happy and end up with the right boat for you. I was overly delighted when we took delivery of our new boat as the whole experience was outstanding. Upon arrival on a Saturday morning Aaron met us and already had the Yamaha 242 Limited SE attached to his truck to take us to a local lake for a few hours to demonstrate how everything worked out on the water. What a knowledgeable and outstanding guy - he really carried on the high level of customer service that started with Ian. After our time on the water we went back to the office to finalize the deal - I was so pleased to see that all the paperwork coincided exactly to what Ian and I had previously agreed to on the phone. The part that really floored me was that Ian offered to store the boat until we were ready to head home so we could have a little long weekend getaway during this whole process. That was absolutely amazing and I cannot thank him enough. We had a small issue with a part after we got the boat back home and I had personally made a decision to not utilize my local dealer for service. I called Brett at M2O in service and he went above and beyond to help me out in every way he could to resolve my issue - things are now perfect and we wouldn't be here without Brett's help. Buy a boat from these folks, seriously. Go here for service, go here for parts, they have a customer centric culture and will take care of you while offering boats, accessories, etc. at very competitive prices. I will not go anywhere else in the future. Happy boating all! read more

As the old saying goes, the two happiest or best days of a boater's life are the day they buy a boat and the day they sell it. I'm not sure if I agree with the latter of the two since I sold my last boat due to necessity. I was really bummed when I sold it and I've always said that selling it was one of my biggest regrets. After playing with the idea of buying another boat, doing a ton of research on new and used ones I found myself here at M2O. We wanted something fun, spacious and safe for our friends and family. This is where Trevor comes into the picture. He listened to what we wanted, both with the boat and financially. He gave us our options, did an amazing job of being patient and giving us ALL the details we needed but didn't overwhelm us with too much information. There was a lot going on to make this purchase happen and let's face. Buying a boat is right up there with buying a house and buying new car. I can't praise Trevor enough, he really made this whole experience enjoyable and is a great asset to the company. After a month or so of enjoying our new purchase on the weekends it was time to do the "break in service". Brett was quick to answer my call and set us up with an appointment on a Friday. I immediately thought to myself that there was no way they would get the boat ready for us to have some fun on the water that weekend. The second I had come to terms that I had to find something else to do on Sunday he said that I could pick it up on Friday evening or Saturday morning so we could take it out. He literally read my mind!! I'm sure there are plenty of customers that put that kind of pressure on the service department. I'm just not that kind of guy. I prefer to wait and not rush it. Brett was thorough, took care of a couple requests that I had and delivered the boat on time as he had promised. Thank you M2O for getting me back on the water and putting a big smile on my face. read more

We just purchased our 4th boat but first time at M2omarine. I have to say best experience we've ever had. From Cole our salesperson to Alan the sales manager to Charlie who went on our seas trial to Ian the owner who was very generous. . We've purchased rvs, boats and dirt bikes in the past and this was the easiest, least stressful experience we've had. No haggling back and forth. They were professional, courteous, and honest. No pressure. Every employee we ran into while looking at their huge inventory had a smile on their face and very friendly. Thanks again for a great experience! Mario and Sandra read more

We purchased our boat from M2O Marine and loved the service we received from Alan. 2 years later we thought we needed an oil change and turned out our boat had an oil leak. Brett was very thorough with finding the cause. Although Yamaha gave us a difficult time with the warranty the owner Ian fought for it to be covered. He turned an awful situation into a pleasant one with his friendly personality and great customer service. He really went the extra mile to ensure we would be covered. We are very happy with the team at M2O from sales to service to ownership. We highly recommend them for all your boating needs. read more

Sales said they would hold boat while financing was arranged. Should of put some money down to hold boat but we put our trust in them instead. The boat was sold from under us. Ok I get it. After that they continued to pursue my financing until I was approved and then sent me the papar work for a different boat. Luckly I figured it out. Seems a little on the shady side to me. They finally came clean and told me the bad news and tried to sell me a boat I did not want. Shame on them. read more

my husband had the wild idea that we should get a boat. i had my many trepidations, but then finally understood the benefits of such an investment for our family. to my husband's credit, he took a long time researching, seeking out, and communicating before we landed on anything. we ended up pursuing a 2018 yamaha AR240, and trevor at M2O marine has been a valuable guide throughout the process. the insight he shared, and patience he exuded has been greatly appreciated. he also took great, generous care in getting us well-equipped with the assorted details that come with such an acquisition. we are very new to the boating scene, and ran into some hiccups here and there, and the team at M2O marine did not hesitate to help and get us back on track. we are truly grateful to trevor, aaron, brett, and danny for their generous assistance throughout! read more

WOW... What a day. Went to take my boat in for its annual service to get ready for the summer. Unfortunately on my way I got a flat tire on the 15 south. Waited 2 hours for a tow company to change the tire but when they got to me they said they could not change the tire but could tow me to where I needed to go for $650 .... I called M20 Marine to let them know that I was going to be late to my appointment and what had happened, to my surprise I spoke to Aaron in sales and he said he would come to me and change my tire for me for free. He was Johnny on the spot and got to me in 30 minutes, changed my tire, and followed to M20.... Aaron was a life saver and now M2O and Aaron have a customer for life.... I'm so glad I found Aaron at M20! As an out of state buyer looking to spoil ourselves for our 20th anniversary, we very last minute decided to purchase a 2022 AR250. I phoned most of the dealers in 5 surround states looking for one on the lot. I knew what that meant in this market. After being shot down left and right, told we don't sell out of territory, or just straight laughed at for my request, I found and called M20. Aaron was my first point of contact and last salesman I'd speak with. From our initial conversation, Aaron had my sale. He was personable, attentive, available, and most helpful in such a pleasant way. That dude genuinely wants you on the water enjoying the heck out of your new toy, and it shows in his no pressure approach. We started negotiating, even in this market, and had the deal sealed. From our first chat to delivery was 4 days! We drove 7+ hours! It was so refreshing to get into his office and see all of our paperwork as discussed on the phone, ready to go. Aaron took his time going over all of the new features even though we are not new to the Yamaha brand. We didn't feel rushed, and they even had the gas tank FULL and ready for us to go play with these crazy Cali gas prices. T.J and Brett in Service were most helpful in answering all of our questions and took time to exchange Lake Powell stories. By the looks of their service lot, they didn't have the time but they made the time. We haven't hit the water yet, but I'm confident in their service department should we run into any issues. T.J. made it clear that they are more than willing to help from a far. We had an all around fantastic experience from start to finish. M20 Has earned our Forever business! Brought my boat here for service two years in a row. In the beginning everything went smooth for the first year. Then the second year came and everything went sour... When I decided to do some major work to the vessel, A-Z is what I explained what I wanted done (Motor 100 hour service, gauges didn't work properly, full on detail service, SAFETY check and fiberglass work). Spoke to Brett (Service manager) and was told the work will be done. Which is what we were expecting... work was performed but lots of things were done poorly/ if not done right. More to add but no need to go into it. Let's put it this way, the manager was very unprofessional when pointing out the problems / mistakes.
