    This place is by far the BEST, because they have the very best of the best people working there. Never thought I would say this about a repair shop, but man, they are incredibly honest, efficient, knowledgeable, pleasant, kind, you go in and leave happy every time, I waited to write my review and from day one, everyone has been wonderful, from calling with silly questions, to buying parts or getting a repair done, they outshine anyone. I am so grateful to Rafa and Joey, have been so incredibly wonderful. It's nice that as a woman instead of feeling like they look down on you or try to take advantage, these true gentlemen guide you, help you and never make you feel ignorant. Like some other places out there... truly the best, most wonderful honest people at Sunset Marine. The man at the front counter is the most pleasant guy, I will edit this a soon as I get his name., the lady too. The boss man is very down to earth pleasant person. They are very hard working people, reliable and just incredible individuals, every single one of them. Their work is flawless too!! Man talk about quality... best of the west for sure

    Last week we towed our boat out to this location. They are a bit expensive, but not really. This is one of those places that you get what you pay for. Ryan called us several times letting us know what was going on every step of the way. This was greatly appreciated. In one week or less they found what the problem was and fixed what we have been trying to track down/figure out for almost two years. I just wished we would have brought it here to begin with. If you have dilemma call this company and get it done, pay the money, it will cost you more on Rental boats. Thank you for great and speedy service!

    I used these guys to fix my boat. They do the job but they are very expensive and you have to wait weeks or even months for an appointment.

    DCB saved us! Drove…read moretwo hours to conduct a scheduled drop off at another shop for my 36' Formula only to find the shops gates locked and no one home! Super frustrating. Called DCB and Eric (outstanding rep and tech) made room for us in his yard, minutes before they closed, to repair the hydraulic steering system and install a quick-connect fresh water flush system. The outstanding customer service we've received coupled with the high caliber boats they have in the yard instantly let you know this is THE place to go for quality work and no BS.     BEWARE!!! I hate to…read morebe the one doing this as a business owner myself but the way these people treated me with the money, I was going to spend with them is unreal. I was put in contact with (ANDY) DCB on the week of 1/31/2022-2/5/2022. After reviewing a boat with Andy, we came to a agreement at $425k on a used M31 That was in taken apart with the drive removed off the boat, shook Andy's hand and told him I wanted to take it get it put back together and ready for a test drive. I know nothing about the boat or motors. Please give me a list of recommended service as well as cost. Buying a DCB from DBC themselves you would think that would be easy. He told me that i would need to give him $25,000 and $5000.00 nonrefundable if i didn't buy the boat for any reason. Started getting a run around with Andy and couldn't get straight answers, i contacted a few friends that own boats. they put me in contact with the owner Chase with is very knowledgeable and ran through the whole boat with me amazing guy, was pretty shocked DCB couldn't feed me information like chase did. I told chase i was going to buy his boat i feel good about buying a used boat from a person like himself straight shooter. Andy got all upset i contacted the owner and decided to attack me over the phone, i explained to him in a nice way he sucked at his job and created doubt as a buyer from the lack of knowledge given. i also explained no one was backing dooring you in anyway the sale was going through DCB. 2/3/2022 - I was a little upset about the phone call we had when he attacked me, so in our conversation i advised Andy that I know he damaged the boat and tore the seat and the owner didn't know that happen as (in our seeing of the boat he blamed owner and said he would pay), His blame then changed and blamed another shop for damaging it. Pretty sad the blame was pointed everywhere but them self as they had possession of the boat. Very scarry for future consignment customers. later that night on 2/3/2022 I received a text from Andy that i have till 4:00 Pm on 2/4/2022 to pay him $425,000.00 for a boat that is all taken apart, didn't even hear it run never mind a test drive. or he was going to get boat serviced which cost $6,000 and charge me another $25,000 to buy the boat and the price was going to go up to $450,000 After the falling out with Andy, a buddy of mine that owns a DCB told me to contact tony he would handle it. I contacted tony on 2/4/2022 and spoke with him and our first talk on the phone He processed to talk over me and take about an unrelated subject (politicks / California life), I finally got him on track when i was allowed to talk to explain what was going on. after explaining the situation that i already agreed to the boat at $425k he said he would get in contact with Andy to get the boat put back together for a test ride to finalize up the deal. was a very rough conversation tony seems to like talking over you very bad for business and respect for a customer. He told me he would call me back that day or call me the following day to get everything handled. I received a Groupe message from tony and Andy telling me their backing out the deal boat isn't for sale the decided they were going to service the boat and make me pay another $25,000 to buy the boat. I advise everyone to run for the hills do not buy from these guys when your spending close to 1/2 Million on a boat in no way shape or form should you be treated in any such way as they have.

    My #1 hobby is fishing and I'm out on the lake 2-3x a week. I have a boat and naturally with how…read moreoften I fish I need maintenance & repairs to keep it running in tip top shape. Well I only knew of two companies who are supposed specialists with bass boat repairs/maintenance and the other one I wasn't too fond of, so I gave Fish'n Marine a shot. My first dealing with Fish'n Marine was about half a year ago and while they were very friendly and personable, they did not follow-through on any of their deadlines nor did they keep me in the loop as they promised throughout the repair process. I had to call them 2 times to get status updates. My repair was done 3 days later than promised and instead of apologizing they made excuses. There's nothing worse than making excuses and not owning up to something. A simple solution is to give a sincere apology and make the customer know you are truly sorry, and do your best to make the best of a situation. OK, So all that aside, I gave it another whirl with Fish'n Marine because as mentioned, the other place locally for bass boats, I was not too fond of after my dealings with them either. i called first off before bringing my boat in and one of the owners confirmed that he could get it looked at for me the same day and they would have an update for me before the end of the day. When I arrived, I made things affirmative and that we both were on the same page before I left my boat... "Did you want to go fishing tomorrow?" the one owner asked. I said 'Yes, that would be great'. He replied "OK, Well I will get this taken care of today and we will bill it at 1 hour (that's their minimum labor charge) and then call you back by the end of a day with an update if it will take any longer, otherwise we'll have you ready to go to fish tomorrow." I left excited that I'd have an update that night and be on the water in the morning. Later that day, 1pm passed, 3pm passed, 5pm passed, 6pm passed... no calls, no updates. I called them at about 630pm and no answer. I guess they were gone for the day. Great, so no updates again just like what happened in my first dealing with them. I naively think 'OK, well maybe he will call me in the AM to say it's ready.' So I wake up at 630am thinking to get an update when they open, but nothing. I realized this is their way of doing business- say one thing and not follow through. I've been there and done that with many businesses and people in California, call it what you want- flake, false promises, misleading, whatever. It's no good in my books. Not following through on promises/commitments is almost as bad as being an outright liar. I decide to get work done and let them call me at their leisure. For surely they would call me at some point during the day. One day without fishing wouldn't kill me (even though I was really looking forward to it). Well 430pm came around and still nothing, so again I had to call them (they didn't call me). I call and speak to the other owner and he's absolutely clueless. He had no idea of the status of my boat and it was as if it was the first time he was hearing about it. He proceeded to tell me (after I told him that the other owner assured me I'd be up and running for fishing today) that "No way, he wouldn't say that, we had a couple boats in front of you." So the other owner more or less said that I was lying and the other owner never promised this delivery date to me haha. O well, so I went on to listen to the BS and excuses for a couple more minutes. He told me he'd call me back 'within the hour' with an 'update'. He calls me back 1 hour and 50 minutes later, not within the hour. He proceeds to give me more BS about "Well, ya know anything electrical is usually a big ordeal and it could be a number of issues" blah blah blah blah blah. Obviously this was the first time they even looked at my boat, and who knows if they even looked into the problem or just called me back to hold me over. The long story short is that I listened to this company not once, but twice give me expectations and not only not meet them, but not provide a new updated time of completion nor be 'straight with me.' In both occurrences they made BS excuses and ran me in circles. The end result is that this owner got nasty with me on the phone and hung up on ME! I didn't even curse, yell, or scream. I was actually rather level headed with him (they have my boat, and of course I want it fixed and them not to 'screw with it'). So he actually hung up on me lol. UNREAL. I'm going to get my boat tomorrow from these guys and nothing was even repaired and no problem solved because they never even got to the boat yet! There is another similar bad one and then one very good experience - to whom I will now be using from now on (I only came back to these guys once more because the good place was closed for a holiday break). Final thoughts? Meh. I've experienced better.

For the exact AGM battery my vehicle requires, the value was unbeatable. No games, no upselling - just a straightforward, fair price from the start. Jake was excellent on the phone. He took the time to answer all of my questions, confirmed the exact battery specs I needed, and made sure they had it in stock and ready to go. Most other places didn't even have the correct battery available, which made a big difference. The install itself was legitimately complicated and Jeff handled it like a pro. He arrived exactly on time, worked efficiently, and clearly knew what he was doing. He was meticulous, made sure everything was secured properly, and didn't rush through it. You can tell he takes pride in doing the job right. Outstanding service, phenomenal pricing, and high-quality work from start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I don't think I was there for 20 minutes from start to finish. They checked the charging system and determined I had a bad battery. Deep Cycle installed the replacement for a very reasonable price. Also, they carry all sorts of batteries; give them a call.
