The experience felt closer to a used car dealership than a Bespoke Tailor experience you see in movies. Nine weeks after being fitted I was texted to come in and try on my suit. It needed adjustments so it was another 4-5 weeks to pick up my suit. No text this time... I had to call and see if the suit was ready. The suit is nice but I'm struggling to view this purchase as worth the hassle. Honestly, I'd rather have four or five good suits off the rack than one suit for this price. I am likely to purchase another MTM suit but my next purchase will be at Guffey's or another option. HKT missed an opportunity here to capture my repeat business.

I wish I could remember the name of the young lady who helped me, but she was super friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me fantastic suggestions. I wasn't planning to shop during my trip, but I couldn't leave without picking up a few pieces. Instead of simply fixing their mistake, I spent more than a week going back and forth with them while they repeatedly tried to offer me discounts to keep shoes I did not order. They eventually said they would send me a return label, but never did. I got tired of waiting, paid to ship the shoes back myself, and sent them the tracking information. The return was delivered. I waited, followed up about my refund, and got no response. I followed up again and still heard nothing. Sending the wrong item was bad enough. Making me chase them for a return, forcing me to pay out of pocket to ship back merchandise I never ordered, and then ignoring me after they received it is unacceptable. I'm still out the return shipping cost, and I had to dispute the original $135.99 charge with American Express. I would never order from this company again.

I was told when I made the return that all I'd need was my ID -- the store keeps the slip on file. When I gave my name and ID, the associate couldn't find my slip. Instead of continuing to look thoroughly, he accused me of already using the credit or that it wasn't in my name, suggesting I was trying to get over on the store. This was said in front of other customers, which left me feeling humiliated, disrespected, and singled out. I later found a picture of my slip and saw the store had made the error -- my name was written incorrectly on their end. Which was funny because I was told it was my fault and that in all the years the store had been operating, they had "never made a mistake." My name starts with an "S" why was there an "M" on the slip, I have no clue. Even after it was clear I was right, there was no apology or effort to make things right. In that moment, I did not feel I was given the same respect or fair treatment that another customer might have received. The entire interaction was unprofessional and extremely disappointing.
