Time to say good bye to other rental companies. First let me begin with the customer service. There were a couple of young ladies at the front desk when I walked in for the first time who not only greeted me but offered me cookies. One of them in particular, Maddie (hoped I spelled correctly) was very professional, respectful and courteous. Her positive attitude and assistance with processing my request was terrific. Now about the equipment... I rented the wood chipper. This thing was a beast and was ready to take on up to 12" diameter logs. I used it over the weekend out at my property and it never failed or bogged down. This chipper was a haus and if you need to do some wood chipping I highly recommend renting it. It was very clean when I received it and came with a full tank of gas. Just make sure to fill it up before you drop off.

A couple places had one ladder and I needed two. This location told me they had (2) 8' step ladders and the price was fair. I said I would be there next week when I start my project. It's not the closest place but I need 2 so I left my hotel and made the long drive, in the rain. When I arrived the gentleman at the counter said " we don't rent ladders". I can't tell you how angry I was but what can I do? Now I'm stuck buying ladders for my project because I don't have time. I'll be abandoning them on Saturday. This was a huge disappointment and there's no way I misunderstood. Sounds to me like a communication issue within United's employees.
