If you're thinking of getting an oil change then this might be the right place but if you're needing any kind of in depth work done or loads of in depth work then just go somewhere else. I absolutely hate the fact that I'm even writing this review as I have given maybe 2-3 reviews in my life that were under 5 stars. Classic case of a shop having a trusting, nice and ready to pay for whatever needed to be done lady come in and they took advantage of the situation. My truck had been sitting for 3 years, needing a new engine so my mother tried surprising me by taking it to M2 and getting the engine replaced (approx. $11k) along with a "full break job", then calling me and telling me it was ready. Well, I made it about 3 miles from the shop and check engine light came on and smoke started coming from one of the turbos. Called the shop and they told me to bring it back which I did and the mechanic told me to, "just keep driving it, it takes a while for the check engine light to go off and the smoking is probably just residue from changing fluids." . So I do, knowing that it's under warranty. Week later, still smoking and getting worse and check engine light still on so they tell me to bring it in like I have nothing better to do. After 4 days of it sitting there with not one person looking at it they finally tell me the following day that I need a new O2 sensor and vacuum pump (another $700). Pick it up and once again, I don't even make it home and it's still smoking and check engine light comes back on. They tell me once again, "just bring it in," starting to get frustrated now. Well fast forward about 4-5 more times of me bringing it in and they tell me that I need a new catalytic converter (another $1600) which I told them to replace in the beginning but was persuaded otherwise. Pick it up and guess what happened, same shit, doesn't even make it home and it starts misfiring. I call them and they tell me they had replaced all the plugs and checked coil packs so I take it in one last time, I believe this was visit number 15 within 3 months. Not once did they pay for my truck to be towed due to their negligence with working on my truck but this last time I pick up my truck with 9 miles to empty, that's odd, I dropped it off and it had 365 miles to empty. Everyone, even the owner swears up and down it only was driven for 5 miles. Which that alone pissed me off cuz they had told me they test drove my truck around 50 miles to make sure everything ran well. They also tell me on that visit that my front break pads are bad and I need new ones. WTF? Yall replaced the pads and rotors 2 months ago and half of that 2 months the trucks been in your possession. So I decide to do a full break job on it myself and notice a couple things. First off, the caliper bracket bolt was so hard to get off that I had to use my M18 high torque impact on it for about 15 seconds of hammering to finally get it loose. If rotors were replaced 2 months ago that bolt should have come right off, that bolt hadn't been broken in a decade. Secondly, the set screws holding the rotor to the hub are all missing on every single rotor. Oh and lastly, somewhere in the midst of all this, one salesman called my mother telling her my truck needed new hoses so without question she paid. Well, I'm no career mechanic but I can do just about anything given some time to my truck and not one hose had been replaced other than one hose that fed coolant to the turbo but just to one of the turbos not both. lol. I finally said f*** it and replaced all the plugs, coil packs and coil pack connector plugs and it misfired for about another half day and has run like a champ ever since. F*** M2, they will bend you over any chance they get and make you feel as if they are doing you a favor. Well after $16k spent at M2, about 20 days of work lost, $200 worth of gas driving to their shop and back, $150 in Ubers and around $500 in tow fees getting my truck towed to their shop, I can finally say, yall are actual scumbags. You know who you are too. I assure you, you have not heard the last from me. I don't even think I included all the issues but these were the main ones. If I could leave zero stars I would. read more

We had a very bad experience here and I cannot recommend this business. We bought our daughter a used car from this company. The process was long and drawn out over a few weeks and it was very difficult to get a straight answer about the work being done and delivery date. Finally, we completed the deal but when our daughter started driving the car it would not accelerate on the highway and the power windows would not work. We took the car to a Honda dealership and it found that the engine had been replaced. We then compared the type of engine that was in the car to the type of engine that was advertised to be in the car. The two were different. The problem was that when M M AutO Repair put in an engine that was not compatible with the computer system in the car, which meant that the computer could not "talk" to the engine and certain functions did not work. You would think that they know better. We asked the owner to take the car back because we were not told that the engine had been replaced and that it was incompatible with the car's computer. He refused, stating the we bought the car "as is." He advertised one type of engine, then replaced it with a different type of engine. We were never told that the car would not accelerate, or that the windows would not work, or that the engine had been replaced. In the end, we kept the car only a few weeks because it was only drivable on backstreets. And who wants a car for which windows do not open and close? We were victims of dishonesty, and for this reason I am not able to recommend this company, only to warn others about unscrupulous behavior. I am updating the review to respond to the comments by MM Auto. MM Auto's version of events is fundamentally untrue and is so off base I hardly even know where to begin. 1. At the time of purchase MM Auto told us there were "no problems" with the car, and if we had a problem to come to them and they would solve it. In fact, we contacted MM Auto immediately after the cash purchase and asked to return the car when problems arose, but were refused. We still have the text messages to prove the correspondence. Moreover, our lawyer sent M M Auto a certified letter asking that it accept the return of the car and refund our money. He gave M M Auto 10 days to respond. When my wife called to find out the response, the owner laughed at her and repeated that he would not accept a return. We have this correspondence on legal letterhead as well. It was sent in September 2014. M M Auto seems to have a recollection that differs from reality. 2. Our small claims suit did not ask for double damages, only the amount it would cost to put in the correct engine. We have documentary proof that MM Auto replaced the engine and did not disclose it, and we have documents that attest to how much it would cost to put in a correct engine. This is the amount that was in our suit. 3. Our small claims suit was dismissed because we dropped the case. We dropped the case because we no longer owned the car. We no longer owned the car because it was not drivable due to dishonesty regarding the replacement of the engine. I already explained this in the private email that was sent to me by M M Auto. 4. An online review is totally separate from a small claims suit. There is nothing in the dismissal that prevents or precludes an online review. After the case was dropped, I was completely within my constitutional rights to write a review. 5. My review only tells other potential customers about our experience. They can draw their own conclusions how they want to spend their money. 6. The root of the problem is that MM Auto was dishonest and got caught, and now it wants to spin the story to its advantage. The fact is that when you are dishonest, there are consequences. 7. If M M Auto had been honest from the start none of this would have happened. If M M Auto had taken the car back and refunded our money none of this would have happened. All events subsequent to the purchase fall entirely on M M Auto and its abysmal regard for the customer. read more

Very helpful and friendly folks. Inspected a car I was about to purchase, and gave me a ride back to the dealership when my previous car literally broke down in their parking lot. They also buy and sell cars, looked like a nice range of options available on the lot for those buying. I ended up selling the car to them that had broken down in their parking lot rather than get it fixed, and I felt like it was a fair price offered. I live around the corner from the place and I made the mistake taking in my vehicle for brakes and an oil change. A simple job took them 2 weeks. I think they didn't know what I was doing being a lady, but I should have known something was wrong when you walk in and see people playing pool. The young man assured me it was a simple job and will inspect the vehicle for other signs of trouble. After 2 weeks of fake excuses why it took so long I was informed my car needs a head gasket job $2000 because it will over heat. As well as I would be charged storage fees if any more days past. I informed him today was the first time they called me about anything and the estimate is a big expensive overpriced repair for a low mileage car that's never had any heating issues. He was very arrogant with his response of we will give you a discount and we know whats best. I walked over there and picked up my vehicle the same day. They didn't apologize or attempt to lower my basic repair of brakes and oil. Leaving there I felt very uncomfortable and immediately took it to another shop for a once over. They couldn't tell if my oil was actually changed but the biggest shocker was the leaking coolant. They deliberately loosened my radiator hoses so my car would over heat (just as predicted by them). A real shop took this photos for me and didn't charge me to tighten the clamps and top off the radiator. My brakes were changed but I had the oil changed again to be safe. MM are dishonest lazy people. I do not recommend taking your vehicle there. They will tamper with it to make more money from their customers. I was so frustrated about everything I didn't even waste my time going back to confront them. They kept my vehicle for an extended time, seemed more like a "man cave" with high school kids hanging out vs a place of business, seemed only 1 person in the back working, wanted to start charging storage fees, maybe changed my oil, and tampered with my car so I can spend extra money on repairs it didn't need. They were all apart of it the scam. The mechanic wearing all blue seemed overwhelmed already with all the broken cars there (almost seemed like a salvage yard within their gate), that brings me to the manager/owner....I believe they were the masterminds of this scam. Our busy family very rarely writes reviews so something needs to be outstanding to prompt us share our experience. We took our Dodge Durango to the Dodge dealer because we had check engine light that indicated a transmission fault. We were told it needed $3,500 of parts and labor to fix it, this was more than we could afford so we search around and a friend recommended M2 Auto. M2 quoted nearly $1,000 less (if they had to replace the parts the dealer said we're faulty). We gave them the go-ahead and they picked up the car from the dealer. A short time after M2s Service Manager Gabriel called to say after they cleared the faults they couldn't see anything wrong with the electronics. It was determined that the issue was a transmission not the electronic controls. In the end M2 came in way less than the dealer and they not only did what they said they would the cost was even less than they had initially quoted. Great job guys. HIGHLY recommended. read more

If it isn't right the first time they will make it right. The only critique is that they are very busy (good for them) so it can take a bit longer perhaps than other facilities. I've lived in Dallas for 5 years now and, until now, had yet to settle on an auto repair shop that I felt was competent, affordable, and trustworthy. I had used M2 Auto Repair for various repairs on my cars before. Nothing major, but they had always offered me a fair price on oil changes and tires and things like that. Recently, my wife was involved in an accident and we decided to leave the car with M2. Eddie Mendoza and his team worked directly with the insurance company to determine the scope of the damage, handled all the billing, and gave us our car back looking better than before the accident. They even polished our old, cloudy, yellowed headlights so well that I thought they had replaced them. Shortly after that, I brought my other car into M2 after another mechanic (the one closest to me when my car broke down), despite charging an arm and a leg to replace the coolant pump, was unable to keep my car running propertly. What the team at M2 discovered is that the problem had indeed involved the coolant pump, but my particular car has two pumps and the other shop had replaced the wrong one. To add insult to injury, the one they replaced, though working perfectly, had been recalled by the manufacturer and would have been replaced for free had the shop just checked with the manufacturer before purchasing an off-brand. Eddie showed me the parts on my car and what was causing the problem. He explained everything in simple terms and outlined exactly what it would cost to get the job done. In the end I decided to trade in the car and purchase one M2 had for sale (did I mention they're a dealer too?) and so far I am very satisfied with my new vehicle.
